Pleated blind having positioning function
A pleated blind includes a blind body having a plurality of pleated portions each having a pleated edge, and a limit cord secured to the pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body. When the pleated portions are moved, the maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges of the pleated portions is limited by the limit cord, so that the open distance of each of the pleated portions is limited by the limit cord to reach a determined value. Thus, each of the pleated portions will not be opened excessively due to improper operation by a user, thereby preventing either one of the pleated portions from being deformed or distorted due to an overload so as to enhance the outer appearance of the pleated blind.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a pleated blind, and more particularly to a pleated blind having a positioning function.
2. Description of the Related Art
A conventional pleated blind in accordance with the prior art shown in
In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a pleated blind, comprising a blind body having a plurality of pleated portions each having a pleated edge, and a limit cord secured to the pleated edges of some of the pleated portions of the blind body to limit a distance between the pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body.
The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a pleated blind having a positioning function so that the shape of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is not deformed.
Another objective of the present invention is to provide a pleated blind, wherein when the pleated portions of the blind body are moved upward and downward by operation of the lift cord, the maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges of the pleated portions of the blind body is limited by the limit cord, so that the open distance of each of the pleated portions of the blind body is limited by the limit cord to reach a determined value.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a pleated blind, wherein each of the pleated portions of the blind body will not be opened excessively due to improper operation of the lift cord by a user, thereby preventing either one of the pleated portions of the blind body from being deformed or distorted due to an overload so as to enhance the outer appearance of the pleated blind.
A further objective of the present invention is to provide a pleated blind, wherein the limit cord is made easily and has an inexpensive price, thereby greatly decreasing cost of fabrication.
Further benefits and advantages of the present invention will become apparent after a careful reading of the detailed description with appropriate reference to the accompanying drawings.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
Referring to the drawings and initially to
Preferably, the limit cord 2 is secured to the pleated edge 111 of each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 to limit a distance between any two adjacent pleated edges 111 of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1.
In addition, the pleated edge 111 of an uppermost one of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 is attached to the headrail 4 by the limit cord 2.
When in use, when the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 are moved upward and downward by operation of the lift cord 3, the maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges 111 of the pleated portions 111 of the blind body 1 is limited by the limit cord 2, so that the open distance of each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 is limited by the limit cord 2 to reach a determined value.
Thus, each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 will not be opened excessively due to improper operation of the lift cord 3 by a user, thereby preventing either one of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 from being deformed or distorted due to an overload.
As shown in
As shown in
As shown in
Alternatively, the pleated edge 111 of each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 is attached to the limit cord 2 by an adhesive.
As shown in
As shown in
In addition, the limit cord 2 is serially secured to the pleated edge 111 of each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 in a multi-state manner.
As shown in
As shown in
Accordingly, when the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 are moved upward and downward by operation of the lift cord 3, the maximum distance between any two adjacent pleated edges 111 of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 is limited by the limit cord 2, so that the open distance of each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 is limited by the limit cord 2 to reach a determined value. In addition, each of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 will not be opened excessively due to improper operation of the lift cord 3 by a user, thereby preventing either one of the pleated portions 11 of the blind body 1 from being deformed or distorted due to an overload so as to enhance the outer appearance of the pleated blind. Further, the limit cord 2 is made easily and has an inexpensive price, thereby greatly decreasing cost of fabrication.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment(s) as mentioned above, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention. It is, therefore, contemplated that the appended claim or claims will cover such modifications and variations that fall within the true scope of the invention.
