FASTBAG

A 13 gallon rolled trash bag dispenser mechanism that is placed on the bottom of household or office waste baskets. The said 13 gallon trash bag dispenser mechanism is injection molded plastic with two (2) engageable and disengageable parts. This invention allows for dispensing of rolled 13 gallon trash bags by inserting a plurality of rolled 13 gallon trash bags from the cylindrically shaped compartment under the top panel of the dispenser mechanism, and subsequently pulling the next to be used rolled 13 gallon trash bag through the opening in the snap in cover on the top panel of the dispenser mechanism.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The FASTBAG is an invention designed for simplifying household or office trash bag replacement with a self contained dispenser system that rests on the bottom of the trash can.

FASTBAG is a solution to having to store trash bags in utility areas of kitchens and offices where space is often limited. The invention also saves the consumer time by offering fast trash bag replacement in the waste basket, so instead of having to pull a roll of trash bags from a storage area and unroll a new bag and then carry it to the trash can and install it, the consumer simply pulls the used full trash bag out and pulls the fresh trash bag through the feeder slot in one easy motion. Full illustrations of the FASTBAG are included in this application.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The FASTBAG is an injection molded plastic dispenser that is designed to be placed on the bottom of household kitchen or office waste baskets. The invention makes replacing 13 gallon trash bags easier and faster than ever before. A cavity below the surface of the top panel of the FASTBAG houses a roll of 13 gallon trash bags ready to feed through a rectangular opening in the top panel in a similar manner to the way facial tissues are dispensed. The manufacturing of the FASTBAG is accomplished through plastic injection molding using recycled Polypropylene. In the several views of the drawing the FASTBAG is identified and displayed from various perspectives.

This invention is unique from the perspective that there are no other designs we know of that accomplish the task of dispensing new trash bags from the bottom of the waste basket. This is the time saving and convenient way to store and dispense 13 gallon trash bags in a easy and fast installation. The invention saves space for the consumer by not having to store bags in a utility areas, and it saves time by simply pulling the new bag through the opening in the snap in cover of the FASTBAG.

SPECIFICATION

The FastBag is an invention designed to dispense rolled 13 gallon trash bags from an injection molded device that will be placed in the bottom of conventional kitchen and office waste baskets. There is a rectangular opening in the top panel that the leading edge of the 13 gallon trash bag is fed through. The manner in which the FASTBAG is used is as follows; when the current 13 gallon trash bag is filled to capacity, the consumer removes the full bag exposing the leading edge of a new 13 gallon trash bag protruding from rectangular opening in the FASTBAG unit. The consumer then pulls the leading edge of the new bag through the hole until it reaches the end of the bag, and then the consumer tears the bag at the perforation and installs the new bag in the container.

The process for manufacturing the FASTBAG is by plastic injection molding using recycled Polypropylene.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The general idea of FASTBAG is to make household or office trash bag replacement faster and easier. This device is designed to be loaded with a roll of 13 gallon trash bags and then placed at the bottom of the waste container. Reinstalling fresh trash bags is easy as the consumer feeds the new bag through a rectangular hole in the snap in cover of the device, in a similar manner to the way facial tissues are dispensed. Manufactured with one simple part, the FASTBAG will offer consumers a higher level of convenience.

FASTBAG solve the problem of storing trash bags in utility areas of kitchens and offices where space is often limited. The invention saves the consumer time by offering quick trash bag replacement.

Claims

1. A unique trash bag replacement system housed in a dispenser mechanism that is placed at the bottom of household or office use waste baskets.

(A) retaining means for holding a plurality of rolled 13 gallon trash bags in the said dispenser mechanism, to be positioned for immediate feeding in an upward motion through the opening in a snap in cover on the top panel of said dispenser mechanism;
(B) also retaining means for storage of rolled 13 gallon trash bags in the cavity located below the surface of the top panel of the mechanism as a means for pulling said rolled 13 gallon trash bags through an opening in the snap cover to the top panel of said dispenser mechanism in an upward motion.

2. The trash bag replacement system is comprised of two (2) injection molded parts that are designed to be placed at the bottom of said waste basket. Replacement trash bags may be drawn upward for replacement in the said waste basket. The said dispenser mechanism is manually engageable with and disengageable from the said waste basket by the consumer inserting their fingers into the opening in the top panel of the said dispenser mechanism.
