Drain cover

A drain cover is primarily composed of a layer of eco-material paved on the drain cover. The eco-material is made by stirring wastes of irregular shapes (e.g., slag, glass fragments, ceramic or waste gravels) with an adhesive agent and fiber glass yarns. By paving the eco-material on drain holes of the drain cover, trashes and grits can be prevented from flowing into a drain to cause an imperfect draining and a clogging. The wastes after being stirred with the adhesive agent and the fiber glass yarns can prevent insects from crawling out of the drain holes, and can reduce a drifting of odor in the drain. In addition, the wastes of irregular shapes can also increase a slip-proof effect to the drain cover, such that a pedestrian will not be tripped by the drain holes, thereby increasing a safety of walking of the pedestrian.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a drain cover, and more particularly to an improvement of drain cover wherein a layer of eco-material is paved on a top of the drain cover.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, a conventional drain cover A is directly installed on a top of drain, and the drain cover is provided with a plurality of penetrating drain holes A1. As the drain cover A is provided with the drain holes A1, when water flows into the drain through the drain holes A1, trashes and grits on a ground will also flow into the drain through the drain holes A1, thereby forming a silt of trashes and grits in the drain. Moreover, another conventional drain cover B uses a fewer number of drain holes B1 to reduce the silt in the drain. As the drain holes B1 are directly connected with the drain, insects growing and odor drifting in the drain are easily to enable a pedestrian to feel uncomfortable. In addition, clearances in drain holes B1 of the drain cover B can generate a danger of tripping the pedestrian.

Accordingly, how to eliminate the aforementioned drawbacks is a technical issue which needs to be solved by the inventor.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the present invention is to provide an improved drain cover which includes an eco-material D of wastes C, an adhesive agent E, fiber glass yarns F, and the drain cover G.

Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, a layer of eco-material D, which is made by stirring wastes C of irregular shapes (e.g., slag, glass fragments, ceramic or waste gravels) with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, is paved on the drain cover G to prevent trashes and grits on a ground from flowing into a drain through drain holes, thereby causing an imperfect draining and clogging in the drain.

Upon filling the eco-material D, the wastes C with a larger grain size are put below the drain cover G, whereas the wastes C with a smaller grain size are put above the drain cover G. In addition, by stirring with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, density of a top portion of the eco-material D is larger than that of a bottom portion of the eco-material D, such that the wastes C of different shapes and grain sizes can be aligned by the density, thereby allowing rainwater H to flow into the drain through porosities without causing a clogging.

In addition, the eco-material D paved on the drain cover G can effectively prevent insects K from crawling out of the drain holes, and can reduce a drifting of odor I in the drain. After being stirred with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, the wastes C of irregular shapes and sizes (e.g., slag, glass fragments, ceramic or waste gravels) can effectively increase a slip-proof effect to the drain cover G, such that a pedestrian will not be tripped by the drain holes, thereby improving a safety of walking.

Referring to FIG. 6 and FIG. 7, a layer of eco-material D, which is made by stirring the wastes C of irregular shapes with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, is paved on the drain cover G. The wastes C can be materials of irregular shapes, such as slag, glass fragments, ceramic or waste gravels, and the eco-material D can be airtight but not watertight, after stirring the wastes C with the adhesive agent E, thereby allowing the rainwater H to flow into the drain through the porosities.

Upon paving the eco-material D on the drain cover G, the wastes C with a larger grain size are put below the drain cover G, whereas the wastes C with a smaller grain size are put above the drain cover G. In addition, by stirring with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, density of a top portion of the eco-material D is larger than that of a bottom portion of the eco-material D, such that the wastes C of different shapes and grain sizes can be aligned by the density, thereby allowing the rainwater H to flow into the drain through porosities without causing a clogging.

As the porosities of different densities are aligned among the wastes C of eco-material D, the rainwater H can naturally flow into the drain through the porosities among the wastes C, such that the trashes and grits can be stopped at a top of the drain cover G without flowing into the drain along with the rainwater H, thereby causing an improper draining and clogging in the drain.

Referring to FIGS. 7 to 9, the eco-material D paved on the drain cover G can also prevent insects from crawling out of the drain holes, and can reduce a drifting of odor I in the drain. In addition, after being stirred with the adhesive agent E and the fiber glass yarns F, the wastes C of irregular shapes and sizes (e.g., slag, glass fragments, ceramic or waste gravels) can be further paved on all kinds of drain covers G to improve a safety of walking of the pedestrian or moving of a vehicle J.

Referring to FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, a surface of drain cover G and an interior of eco-material D can be further coated or stirred with a light reflecting and light sensitive luminous chemical, an ultraviolet color-changing raw material, a photochromic material, and a microcapsule liquid crystal which can change its color by temperature, as well as other related chemical material K which is provided with an enhanced effect of alerting in night, in order to increase a safety of moving of the vehicle J and walking of the pedestrian, on a road.

To further manifest the advancement and practicability of the present invention, the present invention is compared with a conventional application as follow:

Shortcomings of a conventional application
