Golf bag with a mesh bag body

-

This invention provides a golf bag with a mesh bag body having good air permeability and portability, which includes a cylindrical bag body with a mesh structure and a rigid frame to maintain the shape of the cylindrical bag body. The cylindrical surface of the bag body can be completely made of mesh materials, or partially made of mesh materials. The golf bag with a mesh bag body can remarkably decrease the weight of golf bag, making it more portable; significantly improve the air permeability of the golf bag and help the moisture inside the golf bag to evaporate; enable the golfers to see the clubs inside the bag because of the transparency of the cylindrical bag body; and improve the appearance and the style of the golf bag. The invention applies to various kinds of golf bags.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention involves in the technical field of golf-related products, and especially involves in the improvement of the body structure of golf bags. This invention applies to various golf bags.

2. Description of the Related Art

Golfing sport is gradually becoming prevalent all around the world as the standard of living is improved and people seek for noble sport. Since golfers need to take the golf bag for a long time before, after or in the course of the sport, carrying the bag and club to enjoy the sport, the lightness of the golf bag is very important for them.

A golf bag generally includes a rigid frame of the bag that maintains the shape of the bag body and a cylindrical bag body that wraps around the rigid frame of the bag. Most cylindrical bag bodies of contemporary golf bags are made of smooth and heavy materials. A deficiency of the conventional golf bags is that the golf bag is very heavy and its air permeability is poor. By only reducing the thickness of the materials of the cylindrical bag body to achieve better portability of a golf bag, its lifetime will be affected.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention offers a solution to the technical problems described above by providing a portable golf bag that has good air permeability that substantially obviates one or more problems of conventional golf bags.

To solve the aforesaid technical problems, the present invention provides a golf bag with a mesh bag body, which including a cylindrical bag body with a mesh structure and a rigid frame of the bag to maintain the shape of the cylindrical bag body. The cylindrical surface of the bag body can be completely made of mesh materials, or partially made of mesh materials.

This invention has the following advantages in comparison with existing technologies:

1. It remarkably decreases the weight of the golf bag.

2. It significantly improves the air permeability of the golf bag and helps moisture in the golf bag to evaporate.

3. It enables golfers to observe the clubs inside the bag because of the transparency of the cylindrical bag body.

4. It improves the appearance and the style of the golf bag.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 illustrates the structure of a golf bag with a mesh bag body according to an embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 2 illustrates the cylindrical surface of a golf bag body partially made of mesh materials according to an embodiment of the present invention.

FIG. 3 illustrates the cylindrical surface of a golf bag body completely made of mesh materials according to another embodiment of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following are detailed descriptions of the embodiments of the invention with reference to the Figures.

Referring to FIG. 1, a golf bag with a mesh bag body according to embodiments of the present invention includes a rigid frame 1 for maintaining the shape of the golf bag and a cylindrical bag body 2 with a mesh structure that wraps around the rigid frame 1 of the bag.

As shown in FIG. 2, in one embodiment of this invention, the cylindrical surface 21 of the bag body 2 is partially made of a mesh material. The longitudinal area 211 on the cylindrical surface 21 of the bag body 2 where the handle is installed is made of a non mesh material; and the two lateral belt areas 212 on the cylindrical surface each extending between an area near the handle and an area near the bottom surface 22 of the bag body 2 are also made of a non mesh material.

As shown in FIG. 3, in another embodiment of this invention, the cylindrical surface 21 of the bag body 2 is completely made of mesh materials. The longitudinal area 213 on the cylindrical surface 21 of the bag body 2 where the handle is installed is made of a fine mesh material; and the two lateral belt areas 214 on the cylindrical surface each extending between an area near the handle and an area near the bottom surface 22 of the bag body 2 are also made of a fine mesh material.

The circular connecting area 23 between the lower end of the cylindrical surface 21 of the cylindrical bag body 2 and the bottom surface 22 of the cylindrical bag body 2 is preferably made of a non-mesh material so as to keep the moisture on the ground from coming into the golf bag. The bottom surface and the top of the cylindrical bag body are made of a non-mesh material.

In order to form the mesh structure, the cylindrical surface of the bag body 2 can be made of a woven mesh material or a knitted mesh material. It can also be made of a sheet material having an array of ventilation holes formed thereon.

This golf bag with a mesh bag body uses a mesh structure of the cylindrical bag body 2, which can (1) remarkably decrease the weight of the golf bag, making it more portable; (2) significantly improve the air permeability of the golf bag and help the moisture inside the golf bag to evaporate; (3) allow the golfers to easily see the, clubs inside the bag because of the transparency of the cylindrical bag body; and (4) improve the appearance and style of the golf bag.
