However, the ignition gun still has the following shortcomings in its applications. Firstly, the length of the ignition gun is too long, and thus it is inconvenient to carry the ignition gun. Secondly, the press button of the safety switch 13 cannot be pressed to achieve the safety condition, if the safety switch 13 is not returned to its original position, even though the ignition gun comes with the design of a safety switch 13. Therefore, the ignition gun may ignite the gas by accidentally triggering the press button 12, and the press button 12 and the safety switch 13 are accessible easily by children, and thus the ignition gun totally loses its safety function. Further, the temperature of the ignition pipe 11 rises rapidly after the ignition gun continues an ignition for some time, and the user may get burned by the hot ignition pipe 11. Therefore, the prior art ignition gun is inconvenient and dangerous to use, and the foregoing shortcomings demand immediate attentions and improvements, so as to provide a convenient and safe ignition gun for users.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONIn view of the description above, the inventor of the present invention based on years of experience to conduct extensive researches and experiments to improve the portability and safety of the prior art ignition guns and finally invented a foldable ignition gun in accordance with the present invention.
Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a foldable ignition gun that comprises an ignition gun body and a hiding member, wherein the ignition gun body includes a gas storage tank, an igniting section, and an electric arc generator therein, and the gas storage tank installs a gas outlet valve, and the ignition gun body has a switching section disposed on a side of the switching section. If the switching section is pushed, the gas outlet valve will be opened to discharge the gas in the gas storage tank and trigger the electric arc generator. An electric arc is produced in the igniting section to ignite the gas that flows into the igniting section. The hiding member forms a containing space, and an end of the hiding member is pivotally coupled to an end of the ignition gun body, such that when the hiding member is rotated along its pivotal connecting position, the ignition gun body can be contained into the containing space to shelter the switching section, and thus the switching section cannot pushed anymore, or the ignition gun body is rotated out from the containing space, so that the switching section can be pushed again. Therefore, the switching section can be hidden into the containing space to prevent the switching section from being triggered accidentally and avoid unintentional ignitions. The present invention also can greatly reduce the length and volume of the ignition gun structure.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

By the resilience of the resilient member 42, another end of the resilient member 42 is pressed onto the slot 400, and one end of the resilient member 42 pushes the head section 410 out from the penetrating hole 278 and drives another end of the fixing member 43 to be extended from the opening 31, so that the ignition gun body 2 and the hiding member 3 cannot be rotated. An end of the fixing member 43 presses onto another end of the bushing 40 to prevent the press button 41 falling out from the penetrating hole 278. If the ignition gun body 2 is contained in the containing space 30, the ignition gun body 2 will be securely contained in the containing space 30, so that the switching section 24 is sheltered by the hiding member 3 to achieve the safety effect. If the ignition gun is placed in a pocket, the igniting section 22 is protected from being pressed by other objects in the pocket, and thus preventing the discharging pin 222 or the nozzle 221 from being damaged which will result a failure of the ignition gun.
If the press button 41 is pressed, another end of the fixing member 43 will be separated from the opening 31 and moved into the notch 28, and the ignition gun body 2 and the hiding member 3 will be rotated freely. If the another end of the fixing member 43 is moved to a position facing the openings 31 and the press button 41 is released, then another end of the fixing member 43 will enter into a different opening 31, so that the ignition gun body 2 will be fixed at a different position. For example, if the hiding member 3 and the ignition gun body 2 of the ignition gun are arranged in a straight line, and the press button 41 is released, then a user can hold the hiding member 3 for igniting a fire at a far distance to assure the safety to the user. Further, the included angle between the hiding member 3 and the ignition gun body 2 is substantially equal to a right angle, so that a user can ignite a fire at the most convenient angle, so as to achieve the safety and angle adjusting effects.
In the preferred embodiment as shown in
In summation of the description above, the design of the structure and shape of the foldable ignition gun of the invention can achieve the following objects and effects:
1. In the foldable ignition gun of the invention, the ignition gun body 2 is rotated into the containing space 30 to hide the switching section 24, so that children do not know the existence of the switching section 24 and thus effectively preventing children from playing with ignition gun and avoiding the danger of igniting gas accidentally.
2. Since the ignition gun body 2 can be rotated into the containing space 30, therefore the volume and length of the foldable ignition gun can be reduced for carrying the ignition gun easily and saving spaces.
3. When the ignition gun is used, the ignition gun body 2 can be rotated out of the containing space 30, so that users can hold the hiding member 3 to extend the distance between the igniting section 22 and the hiding member 3, and thus effectively preventing the user's hand from being burned by the hot igniting section 22.
4. With the fixing section 4, the present invention not only prevents the ignition gun body 2 from being rotated out of the containing space 30 to achieve the safety and protection effects, but also fixes the ignition gun hiding member 3 and the ignition gun body 2 at different angles, so that users can ignite a fire at different angles according to actual needs.
5. If the second switch 241 is pushed and fixed at a position for turning on the gas outlet valve 21, the gas will be discharged continuously to achieve the igniting function, and thus users do not have to keep pushing the second switch 241 which makes the use of the ignition gun more convenient.
6. Since the ignition gun body 2 can be rotated into the containing space 30, therefore the invention can prevent the ignition pin of the ignition gun placed in a pocket from being pressed or deformed by keys or other objects in the pocket. If the ignition pin is damaged, the electric arc cannot be produced in the igniting section 22, or the gas cannot be ignited.
While the invention herein disclosed has been described by means of specific embodiments, numerous modifications and variations could be made thereto by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention set forth in the claims.
