Collapsible garbage bag supporter

A collapsible garbage bag supporter includes two transverse pipes, four leg pipes, two elastic lines and two positioning members. Each transverse pipe has its two ends respectively connected to the upper end of the leg pipes. The elastic lines are inserted in the leg pipes, letting a transverse pipe and two leg pipes connected into an inverted-U shape. Every two leg pipes have their intermediate portion pivotally riveted to make them intersect with each other. Each leg pipe is composed of two pipes connected together by inserting. The two positioning members are fixed on the two transverse pipes for stretching them open. The garbage bag supporter can be stretched open for fitting a garbage bag thereon. To collapse the supporter, disconnect each leg pipe from the pipe coupler and separate the lower portion from the upper portion.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a collapsible garbage bag supporter, particularly to one able to be collapsed, carried about and expanded for use conveniently.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional garbage can is generally shaped as a barrel and has a garbage bag placed in the interior. In this case, this garbage bag can hardly be expanded to its maximum cubic capacity for use, resulting in waste of garbage bags. Actually, how to dispose of garbage is always a big problem for those who are going on an excursion or on a picnic. It is certainly inconvenient to carry a garbage can out and it is also ungraceful to fix a garbage bag on the foot of a chair or a table for use.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

One objective of this invention is to offer a collapsible garbage bag supporter convenient to be collapsed and carried about.

Another objective of this invention is to offer a collapsible garbage bag supporter, able to fully expand the garbage bag thereon for use and convenient to remove the garbage bag out of the garbage bag supporter.

Still another objective of this invention is to offer a collapsible garbage bag supporter able to have its leg pipes connected together and stretched for use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A preferred embodiment of a collapsible garbage bag supporter in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1-5, includes two transverse pipes 1, four leg pipes 2, two elastic lines 3 and two positioning members 4 combined together.

The two transverse pipes 1 have their opposite ends respectively fitted with a pipe coupler 10 bored with an insert hole 11 perpendicular to the transverse pipe 1.

The four leg pipes 2 to be respectively inserted in the insert hole 11 of the pipe coupler 10 of the transverse pipe 1 are respectively composed of an upper pipe 20 and a lower pipe 21 fitted together. Every two upper pipes 20 have their lower portions pivotally riveted together. Each upper pipe 20 has its topside formed with an insert end 200 and its lower side formed with an insert recess 201, while each lower pipe 21 has its topside formed with an insert end 210 and its lower end formed with a foot member 211.

The elastic line 3 is inserted in the upper and the lower pipe 20, 21 and connected with the transverse pipes 1.

The two positioning members 4 are to be positioned between and assembled on the two transverse pipes 1.

In assembling, firstly, the lower pipe 21 has its upper insert end 210 inserted in the lower insert recess 201 of the upper pipe 20 to make up a leg pipe 2. Next, the insert ends 200 at the topsides of the leg pipes 2 are respectively inserted in the insert holes 11 of the pipe couplers 10 of the two transverse pipes 1, letting two leg pipes 2 intersect with each other. Subsequently, each elastic line 3 has one end secured on the foot member 211 of one lower pipe 21 and the other end inserted in the lower pipe 21 from under to pass through the upper pipe 20 at one end of the transverse pipe 1. Then, this elastic line 3 is inserted in the upper pipe 20 at the other end of the transverse pipe 1 to pass through both the upper pipe 20 and the lower pipe 21 and then has the other end fixed at the foot member 211 of the opposite lower pipe 21. Finally, the two positioning members 4 are firmly fixed on the two transverse pipes 1 to finish assembly of the garbage bag supporter.

In using, only hold the intermediate portions of the two transverse pipes 1 to let the pipes 20, 21 moved down. At this time, the upper and the lower pipe 20, 21 driven by the elastic force of the elastic lines 3 can be easily connected together by inserting to make up the leg pipes 2. Subsequently, the insert ends 200 of the upper pipes 20 are respectively inserted in the insert holes 11 of the pipe couplers 10 of the two transverse pipes 1 and then the two transverse pipes 1 are stretched open to the length of the positioning member 4, thus finishing expanding of the garbage bag supporter. Finally, a garbage bag (A) is fitted in the garbage bag supporter from the upper side of the two transverse pipes 1 and then the opening edge of the garbage bag (A) is turned and bent outward to be fixed on the two transverse pipes 1 to finish assembling the garbage bag (A) on the garbage bag supporter, as shown in FIG. 4. When the garbage bag (A) is filled up with garbage, simply hold and pull up the opening edge of the garbage bag (A) to remove the garbage bag (A) out of the garbage bag supporter, as shown in FIG. 5. To collapse the garbage bag supporter, just hold the transverse pipes 1 with one hand, and hold and pull down the leg pipes 2 with the other hand to disengage the leg pipes 2 from the insert holes 11 of the pipe couplers 10 and bend them inward. Next, pull out the insert ends 210 of the lower pipes 21 from the insert recesses 201 of the upper pipes 20, and then bend and collapse the upper and the lower pipes 20, 21 inward, as shown in FIG. 3.

As can be understood from the above description, this invention has the following advantages.

1. The garbage bag supporter of this invention can conveniently be collapsed for storing with a little space.

2. The garbage bag supporter of this invention can expand the space of a garbage bag to its maximum cubic capacity for use.

3. The garbage bag supporter of this invention can be collapsed and placed in a gathering bag, as shown in FIG. 3, convenient to be carried out for use.

4. The garbage bag supporter of this invention is mainly made of pipes, facilitating assembling and saving cost.

5. The garbage bag supporter of this invention can be provided with rods 5 to serve as positioning members and each rod 5 has one end formed with a ring 50 to be fitted around one transverse pipe 1 and the other end formed with a hook 51 to be hooked in the cut notch of the other transverse pipe 1, as shown in FIG. 6.

While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
