Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a golf training platform to Be used to aid a golfer in practicing their golf swing.

2. Description of Prior Art

Several prior art devices exist which provide various forms of support and training aids for golfers. Often time the Golf stands are combined with some type swinging Aid to help the golfer control and properly orient their golf club.

A couple of patents currently exist that are directed to such types of devices, the patent to Janice graham (U.S. Pat. No. 4,927,152) and the patent to Raymond VanKirk (U.S. Pat. No. 4,928,974) Are two such patents. Another patent that is representatives of the art of golf stands is that which was issued to Michael Bencriscutto U.S. Pat. No. 4,930,786) For a golf club swing training device.

The Graham patent specifically shows a golf swing aid which has a two separate U-shaped members that are placed in the ground or a hard surface with the ball placed between each U-shaped member has a bar that extends out past the U-shaped members, forming a pathway for which the club should Follow when being swung at the ball which is located in the middle of the two U-shaped members. This patent does not show a platform on which the golfer can stand when practicing his or her Swing.

The VanKirk patent is directed to a golf swing trainer that is comprised of a plurality of Cantilever supported feeler elements that are of a flexible nature and are mounted on a stand so as to form a large circular form which serves as a guide for a golf club when in the swinging motion.

The patent issued to Bencriscutto focuses on a golf club swing training device that is made of a base element having vertically oriented pylons mounted thereon. The base element also has guide edges formed on its rearward portion. The base element is placed on the ground in front of a golfer and the golfer then places a golf tee in the ground oriented in relation to the base element. The pylons are used as vertical swing path barriers and the guide edges are used as horizontal swing path edges so that together with the pylons, the golfer is given references both vertically and horizontally relative to the toe of the golf club.

None of the aforementioned Patents provide a base for a golfer to stand or a guiding 180 degree straight angle of color element for the hands, arms, shoulders and legs.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a standing platform for a golfer to practice their golf swing in any convenient location and develop a consistence swing.

The present golf standing platform can be portable or stationary without taking up much Space in the process.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a standing platform that is adapted for use by either right or left handed golfers.

And still another objective of the present invention is to provide a clean, durable, lightweight and comfortable golf stand for golfers of all level of ability to use in practicing their golf swing.
