Magnetic counter for small sports equipment

The magnetic counter for small sports equipment shows the number of exercises. A permanent magnetic module is placed inside the hollow space in the first part, and a magnetic counter is placed inside the hollow space of the second part. The magnetic counter includes a magnetic component, counter display and a reset unit in one piece, so that the magnetic component inside the second part receives the magnetic signal from the permanent magnetic unit. The magnetic signal converts it to the numeral data by the counter display. The counter does not need wires that wrap around the components, making it more convenient and practical.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a magnetic counter for small sports equipment, and more particularly to sports equipment that counts the number of exercises.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Regular sports equipment is widely used among modern people, and well known sports equipment, such as a hand gripper and stepper, have resistance components that include relative displacement, wherein the resistance component makes the user exert force repeatedly and causes relative displacement. Common sports equipment seen in the market has a counter placed on the resistance component to provide the user with numeral data, preventing over-exercise and sports injuries.

A conventional counter is attached to sports equipment 10a, as shown in FIG. 1. The sports equipment 10a comprises a first part 11a, a second part 12a, a permanent magnetic unit 21a placed inside the first part 11a, and a magnetic component 33a placed inside the second part 12a and corresponding with the permanent magnetic unit 21a. The magnetic component 33a is connected to a counter display 31a through a wire a. The counter display 31a is placed on the location that is a distance away from the magnetic component 33a, so that the wire a extends to and connects to another resistance component. The reset unit 32a is placed at a location that is a distance away from the counter display 31a to make the wire a wrap around and connect other components.

This conventional structure has the following problems in actual application.

1. The wire a is placed at the location where this sports equipment 10a moves. After a period, the wires rubs against other component because the sports equipment 10a is not used properly, which makes the wire a create shortage, and which damages the counter display 31a, magnetic component 33a and reset unit 32a.

2. The wire a connected to the magnetic component 33a must go through the second part 12a. Further to the relative location for the counter display 31a, the wire a for the counter display 31a must be connected to a corresponding location and be connected to the reset unit 32a for purposes of connection. This production method is not only too complicated but not cost effective, which does not meet the demand of the industry.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

To this end, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The improved the fact of the present invention is described herein.

1. It is mainly by placing a permanent magnetic module 20 inside the hollow space 17 in the first part 11. The permanent magnetic module 20 includes a permanent magnetic unit 21. A magnetic counter 30 is placed inside the hollow space 17 16 in the second part 12. The magnetic counter 30 includes a magnetic component 33, counter display 31 and a reset unit 32 all in one-piece. The advantage of the present invention is that two corresponding ends of the sports equipment can be placed inside the permanent magnetic module 20 and the magnetic counter. By improving the wire in the counter of the conventional sports equipment mentioned in the “prior art”, other components are connected by resistance component. Thus, the first part 11 a and the second part 12a creates number by relative displacement; except the wire a is placed at the location where this sports equipment 10a moves. After a period, the wires rubs against the other component because the sports equipment 10a is not used properly, which makes the wire a create shortage, and damages the counter display 31a, magnetic component 33a and reset unit 32a. Therefore, without the wrapping of the wire, it can be made more convenient and practical.

2. A permanent magnetic module 20 is placed inside the first part 11 and the second part 12 of the sports equipment of the present invention. Its corresponding magnetic counter 30 is another new invention. By improving the wire a connected to the magnetic component 33a mentioned in the “prior art”, which must go through the second part 12a, and further to the relative location for the counter display 31a, the wire a for the counter display 31a must be connected to a corresponding location, and be connected to the reset unit 32a for purposes of connection. This production method is not only too complicated but not cost effective, which creates burden in the industry and does not meet the demand of the industry to be convenient and cost effective.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIG. 2-9, a magnetic counter for small sports equipment embodied in the present invention, except that this embodiment is used only for description. It shall not be limited by this structure when applying for the patent.

First, the invention is shown in FIGS. 2 and 3.

A sports equipment 10 includes a first part 11, a second part 12, a hollow space 17 16 formed inside the first part 11 and the second part 12, a display slot 15 placed on the predetermined location on the second part 12, a first sensory point 13, and the second sensory point 14, both placed on the corresponding or touching location on the first part 11 and the second part 12. Among them, the first part 11 and the second part 12 move in relative displacement, so that the first sensory point 13 and the second sensory point 14 reaches the corresponding or touching purpose.

A permanent magnetic module 20 is placed inside the hollow space 16 in the first part 11 of the sports equipment 10 mentioned above. The permanent magnetic module 20 includes a permanent magnetic unit 21, and the permanent magnetic unit 21 is located corresponding to the first sensory point 13.

A magnetic counter 30 is placed inside the hollow space 17 in the second part 12 of the sports equipment 10 mentioned above. The magnetic counter 30 is placed at the location corresponding to the permanent magnetic module 20. Moreover, the magnetic counter 30 includes magnetic component 33, counter display 31 and a reset unit 32.

A magnetic component 33 is placed on the second sensory point 14 inside the hollow space 17 of the second part 12. The magnetic component 33 is placed on the corresponding location to the permanent magnetic unit 21, which makes the magnetic component 33 and the permanent magnetic unit 21 reach the magnetic effect.

A counter display 31 is placed inside the display slot 15 of the second part 12 and is formed as one-piece with the magnetic component 33 mentioned above. Thus, the magnetic component 33 can transmit the signal to the counter display 31, can convert the signal into the digital data through the internal signal, and can make the counter display 31 show the numbers of magnetic activity, which provided the users with the number of the relative displacement of the first part 11 and the second part 12.

A reset unit 32 is connected to the counter display 31 and resets the number displayed by the counter display 31 to zero to provide updated numeral data.

Through the structure and design mentioned above, the operation of the present invention is described as follows.

As shown in FIGS. 4-7, both sides of the first part 11 and the second part 12 of the sports equipment 10 are shown as pressed, so that the first part 11 and the second part 12 can move in relative displacement. A permanent magnetic module 20 is placed inside the hollow space 16 in the first part 11, and the permanent magnetic module 20 includes a permanent magnetic unit 21, which is placed on the first sensory point 13 of the first part 11. A magnetic counter 30 is placed inside the hollow space 17 in the second part 12, and the magnetic counter 30 includes a magnetic component 33, a counter display 31 and a reset unit 32, all in one-piece. The counter display 31 is placed corresponding to the display slot 15 of the second part 12. When the first part 11 and the second part 12 move in relative displacement, the first sensory point 31 of the first part 11 is getting close or touches the second sensory point 14 of the second part 12. Thus, the magnetic component 33 inside the second part 12 receives the magnetic signal from the permanent magnetic unit 21. The magnetic signal is converted to digital data through the counter display 31, and the number of the relative displacement made by the first part 11 and the second part 12 is provided (as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5).

When the user desires to rest the counter display 31, the user can press the reset unit 32 to renew the display data (as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7).

As shown in FIG. 8, there is the first embodiment of the present invention. When the user is pushing the roller, the first part of the roller and the second part of the roller move back and forth to count the numbers.

As shown in FIG. 9, there is the second embodiment of the present invention. When the user is pushing the roller, the roller turns a circle to make the third part 13b sense the fourth part 14b to counter the numbers.

As shown in FIG. 10, there is the third embodiment of the present invention. When the user is pushing the abdominal exerciser, the first part 11c and the second part 12c moves back and forth to count the numbers.

As shown in FIG. 11, there is the fourth embodiment of the present invention. When the user holds the arm gripper 10d, the first part 11d and the second part 12d moves in relative displacement to count the numbers.

As shown in FIG. 12, there is the fifth embodiment of the present invention. When the user holds the hand grip 10e, the first part 11e and the second part 12e moves in relative displacement to count the numbers.
