Description
BACKGROUND

1. Field of the Disclosure

The present invention relates to power tool base marketing covers and accessory containers. More particularly, the present embodiment of the invention is directed to a one-piece accessory bit caddie marketing cover, holder and sleeve device. It is necessary for accessories to be properly stored and contained within the accessory power tool holder and sleeve while simultaneously providing advertising media to promote a particular organization or team logo.

2. The Prior Art

Background

Tool holders and accessory tray devices used as advertising specialty media are well known in the art. One known type of device of a tool and accessory holder is a highly visible plastic snap fit cover bonded over a molded plastic shaped inner sleeve to fit snugly to the handheld power tool. However, such devices do not provide for a flexible multiplicity of storage compartments since the molded plastic outer cover must only accommodate the accessories included in the molded shape of the tray or holder. Another drawback to this type of device is that the accessory tray itself is not designed to fit a multiplicity of tool designs. A further drawback is that the devices are limited to the single shape and two-piece construction for the plastic molded materials inner and outer molded snap fit construction and also sewn fabric construction.

Another kind of device is an article carrier in a belt mountable pouch-type configuration comprising interior and exterior storage pockets. However, such a work pouch is worn directly by the user and can be slipped over and around a users belt while the belt is being worn. Nothing prevents the pouch and tool from becoming lost or separated while not in use and the corresponding accessories may become missing prior to commencement of the next project.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

Persons of ordinary skill in the art will realize that the following description is illustrative only and not in any way limiting. Other modifications, improvements and embodiments will readily suggest themselves to such skilled persons having the benefit of this disclosure. In the following description, like reference numerals refer to like elements throughout.

Accordingly, it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a power tool accessory caddie holder for portable handheld power tools and a corresponding advertising marketing media base cover.

It is yet another object of this invention to provide a means to allow advertising media to promote particular sports teams and organizations along with its merchandise and related intangible rights through the use of advertising specialty promotion.

It is yet another object of this invention that it can be easily adapted to various sizes and shapes of handheld power tools in a multiplicity of lengths and accessory holder configurations.

One embodiment of the invention is to disclose an accessory bit caddie handheld power tool marketing cover base. The accessory bit caddie configuration comprises accessory bit holder sleeves and magnet encapsulated in accessory bit caddie cover.

To attain these objects, the present invention discloses a new one-piece construction accessory bit caddie marketing cover and accessory holder. The accessory bit caddie and marketing cover holder and sleeve may be constructed in a multiplicity of lengths and sizes each with a common one-piece design for ease of manufacturability and available sports team, organization logos and identification. Further, the one-piece construction accessory bit caddie encapsulates a magnet to secure the holder to the handheld power tool.

According to the teaching of the invention, the one-piece accessory bit caddie is wrapped about the handheld tool and centered at each end about a radial transverse axis symmetrical to a centerpoint along the height of the accessory bit caddie holder device and connected lengthwise by a substantially elliptical shaped horizontal cross section. The accessory bit caddie holder is formed by a one-piece sheet of a multiplicity of insulating materials such as composite fabric, metallic sheathing or other materials with similar properties. Further, said the material is finished with a coated material on one face and a printed or painted team or company logo on the other side. The accessory bit caddie holder and sleeve device surrounds the handheld tool providing handheld power tool accessory storage and advertising media along with stable support for the handheld power tool while not in use.

A method for fabricating the multiple purpose jacket and advertising media accessory bit caddie organization/team logo printing comprising a front, side and rear fabric handheld power tool marketing cover device formed of front, side, rear and secondary front and rear facing panels, continuously attached by a sewing operation from a template and sheet die cut design, said sewn accessory bit caddie handheld power tool marketing cover, sleeve and holder device sewn in one piece with cut edges and contoured, curvature attaching edges comprising an adhesive bonded hook and loop attachment system.

The contoured edges comprise front and side panels with reflective, color adhesive backed fabric or composite sheet cut to shape of said front and side panels, said panels formed in a substantially parallel edge and notched near a squared edge of rear panel, said rear panel formed in a substantially square edge to a second side panel and all panels folded about a transverse axis creating a substantially u-shaped cylindrical cavity about a vertical axis to accommodate the traditional horseshoe shape of a magnet. Said method is uniquely fabricated from a die cut one-piece fabric or composite raw material sheet of materials and advertising media printing, logos, painting or glue.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the power hand tool accessory holder marketing cover.

By bonding the full sheet of said first end with said second end no further assembly and construction is required to assemble the device and the advertising media is readily visible to the public while providing stability and support for the handheld power tool and accessory holder carrier and includes a multiplicity of sheet lengths and device sizes.

FIG. 2 represents a cross sectional view showing the construction of the accessory holder carrier.

By sliding the handheld tool into the opening or mouth of the sleeve, the advertising media is readily visible to the public while providing stability and support for the handheld power tool and accessory bit caddie attaching said accessory bit caddie carrier to said handheld power tool.

FIG. 3 is a side elevation view of the accessory bit caddie carrier holder and sleeve.

FIG. 3 is one embodiment of the one-piece accessory bit caddie logo holder carrier and sleeve. In this embodiment, advertising media is displayed axially with the side face of the accessory bit caddie carrier and sleeve and can be either symmetrical or asymmetrical depending on the desired length and size of said handheld power tool.

FIG. 4 is a partial view of a preferred embodiment of the accessory bit caddie holder and carrier in accordance with the invention;

FIG. 5 is a partial view showing the construction of the jacket;

FIG. 6 is a side elevational view of the carrier of FIG. 1;

FIG. 7 is a partial view of the carrier showing the jacket mouth enclosed by the hook and loop closure band;

FIG. 8 is a partial view corresponding to FIG. 4 showing the jacket mouth open to expose the hook and loop closure band;

FIG. 9a, b, c are partial views showing a wraparound only, collar with stirrup, strap or collar with full bottom options.

FIG. 10a No Collar, no bottom

    • 10b Collar on top, collar on bottom.

While embodiments and applications of this disclosure have been shown and described, it would be apparent to those skilled in the art that many more modifications, embodiments and improvements than mentioned above are possible without departing from the inventive concepts herein. The disclosure, therefore, is not to be restricted except in the spirit of the appended claims.
