BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is an upper view of a first embodiment of a carpet in the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a pseudo-hole member in the first embodiment of a carpet in the present invention; and,

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a second embodiment of a carpet in the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A first embodiment of a carpet in the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, includes a mat body 1, and a plurality of pseudo-hole members 2.

The mat body 1 has a surface provided with a ballgame design 3, and the pseudo-hole members 2 are positioned properly on the ballgame design 3 immovably or movably. Further, there is a height difference between the pseudo-hole members 2 and the surface of the mat body 1 so that when a ball (or balls) rolls around on the mat 1, the height difference can hamper the ball from entering one of the pseudo-hole members 2 in playing the ballgame.

The first embodiment of a carpet is used for playing mini-golf, as the ballgame design 3 is a elevation view of a golf course, consisting of greens 31, lakes 32, bunkers 33, woods 34, etc. The pseudo-hole members 2 are shaped as a ring with an opening 21, or maybe shaped as a horseshoe, with an insert hole 22 provided for an indicating member 23 to insert therein. The indicating member 23 may be a flag with a number 231 for identifying from each other. After the indicating member 23 is inserted in the insert hole 22, the pseudo-hole member 2 is placed properly on the ballgame design 3, as a symbol of a virtual golf hole, and a mini-golf game can be played on the carpet.

Next, FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of a carpet in the present invention, wherein is provided with a mat body 4, a plurality of pseudo-pockets 5, and a ballgame design 6 of a mini-billiard. The mini-billiard design 6 is formed with a frame 61 and a plurality of pockets 62 properly located at the inner corners and each inner intermediate points of the frame 61. The mat body 4 have its frame 61 made of different material 7 and having a little higher than the mat surface to function as a real billiard frame, and the different material 7 may be plastic or rubber, having a function of slide-prevention, The pseudo-pocket members 5 are located at the inner corners of the frame 4 and at the inner intermediate points of the frame 4, just as the locations of the pockets 62, which are dug in the mat body 4 or formed by the projecting shape of the different material 7. Then balls 81 are placed on the mat body 4, pushed or stricken by a cue 82 in playing the billiard.

Moreover, the carpet in the invention can be made as a pseudo-golf course or a billiard table, it can also be made as a mini-bowling course, a mini-hockey ground, a mini-football ground, a croquet ground, etc. applicable to many kinds of games.

The carpet in the invention has an advantage of a common carpet possible to be treaded on as a real carpet and also be used as a mini-ballgame ground or table for children or grownups to play in the home.

While the preferred embodiments of the invention have been described above, it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
