Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a gymnastic apparatus, and more particularly to a gymnastic apparatus wherein the length of the springy belt can be adjusted and clipped stably.

2. Description of the Prior Art

Nowadays, more and more gymnastic apparatus are manufactured and stretching gymnastic apparatus in particular, the size of such gymnastic apparatus is so small that it is convenient to carry, and has the functions of stretching chest, shoulders, arms and back so as to keep fit.

A conventional stretching gymnastic apparatus as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, including a main body 1 having a connecting portion 11, a protruding portion 12 and a handle 13, the connecting portion 11 is located between the protruding portions 12, in a suitable position of the protruding portion 12 is mounted the handle 13 for grasping. The connecting portion 11 is solid, the biggest thickness of the connecting portion 11 is thinner than that of the protruding portion 12 and the handle 13, and the connecting portion 11, the protruding portion 12 and the handle 13 are integrally formed and have elasticity.

However, the above-mentioned device still has some disadvantages describes as follows:

Firstly, the length of the connecting portion 11 is unable to adjust, and only can provide single resistance and elasticity, thereby the connecting portion 11 can not be adjusted according to the user's requirement and the using function and scope are restricted.

Secondly, since the connecting portion 11, the protruding portion 12 and the handle 13 are integrally formed and have elasticity, the handle 13 will be distorted when stretching.

Thirdly, the conventional stretching gymnastic apparatus is U-shaped when folded, which is inconvenient to store.

Fourthly, since the connecting portion 11, the protruding portion 12 and the handle 13 are integrally formed, the size of the molds that needed is big and the costs are high.

Fifthly, since the connecting portion 11, the protruding portion 12 and the handle 13 are integrally formed, the conventional stretching gymnastic apparatus cannot be used again even a part is damaged.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 3, a gymnastic apparatus in accordance with the present invention comprises two handle assemblies 2 and a flexible strengthening springy belt 3, wherein the handle assembly 2 including a main body 21, a cover 22, a scroll 23 and a shaft 24, the main body 21 is connected to a positioning seat 212 by a handle 211, a groove room 213 is mounted in the positioning seat 212, an opposite through holes 2131 are defined in the front end of the board of the sides of the groove room 213 respectively, the front end of the groove surface is mounted with a restricting protruded edge 2132, a wave-shaped clipping member 2133 is disposed at a little before the middle section of the groove surface, and a containing groove 2134 is disposed at the rear end of the groove surface for containing the scroll 23, each end of the containing groove 2134 is defined with a positioning gap 2135, the middle section of the board of the rear side of the groove room 213 is defined with an engaging groove 2136. The shaped of the cover 22 is opposite to that of the groove room 213, a axis hole 221 is defined in the front end of the cover 22, a restricting protruded edge 222 is mounted on the front end of the inner surface of the cover 22, a wave-shaped clipping member 223 is disposed at a little before the middle section of the cover 22, a containing groove 224 is disposed at the rear end of the cover 22 for containing the scroll 23, each end of the containing groove 224 is defined with a positioning gap 225, a hook 226 is extended from the middle section of the rear side of the cover 22. A pole 231 of the scroll 23 including a crosscut groove 2311, each end of the pole 231 is mounted with a disk 232, and a cross-shaped positioning block 233 is disposed at the outer side of the disks 232 respectively.

Referring further to FIGS. 3-6, when assembling the gymnastic apparatus, the front end of the cover 22 is mounted between the board of the sides of the groove room 213 of the main body 21, the shaft 24 is passed through the through holes 2131 of the front end of the board of the sides of the groove room 213 of the main body 21 and jointed the axis hole 221 of the front end of the cover 22, then the ends of the strengthening springy belt 3 are passed through the cover 22 and the main body 21 of the two handle assemblies 2 and the crosscut groove 2311 of the scroll 23 respectively, since the strengthening springy belt 3 with a suitable length is rolled to become cylinder-shaped by the pole 231 of the scroll 23 and then disposed in the containing groove 2134 of the main body 21 so as to make the positioning blocks 233 engaged with the positioning gaps 2135 respectively, and then covered the groove room 213 of the main body 21 by rotating the cover 22, and the hook 226 of the cover 22 is engaged with the engaging groove 2136 of the main body 21 so as to clip the strengthening springy belt 3 by interlacing the restricting protruded edge 222 of the cover 22 with the restricting protruded edge 2132 of the main body 21 and interlacing the wave-shaped clipping member 223 of the cover 22 with the clipping member 2133 of the main body 21, at the same time, the containing groove 224 of the cover 22 is combined with the containing groove 2134 of the main body 21, thereby the positioning gaps 225 of the ends of the containing groove 224 of the cover 22 is engaged with the positioning blocks 233 of the ends of the scroll 23 so as to ensure that the scroll 23 is unable to rotate.

When using as shown in FIG. 4, the cover 22 is opened, the scroll 23 is took out for rotating clockwise or counterclockwise so as to adjust the required length of the strengthening springy member 3, and then put the scroll 23 to the original position and closed the cover 22, thereby finish the adjustment of resistance and elasticity.

Referring to FIGS. 7-9, the handles 211 of the handle assembly 2 are grasped by the hands respectively, stretched the arms simultaneously or stretched one arm so as to enforce a pulling force on the strengthening springy belt 3, thereby stretch the strengthening springy belt 3 through the handle assemblies 2, or the handle 211 of one handle assembly 2 is grasped by one hand, and the handle 211 of the other handle assembly 2 is trampled by one foot, and the strengthening springy belt 3 is stretched by pulling the handle assemblies 2 so as to achieve the effect of keeping fit.

Due to the above-mentioned embodiments, the present invention has some advantages describes as follows:

Firstly, when using the length of the strengthening springy belt 3 can be adjusted according to the requirement so as to provide suitable resistance and elasticity and expand using scope and function.

Secondly, since the handle assemblies 2 and the strengthening springy belt 3 are independent members, the handle assemblies 2 are made of materials of high intensity, thereby the handle assemblies 2 will not be deformed when stretching.

Thirdly, the strengthening springy belt 3 can be folded when not using, which is very convenient to store.

Fourthly, since the handle assemblies 2 and the strengthening springy belt 3 are independent members, the size of the molds that needed is small and the costs are low.

Fifthly, the damaged members can be changed separately which is economical.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
