Two-way elevation curtain structure

The present invention provides a two-way elevating curtain structure, which uses a fixed curtain rod with several pull strings to assemble the cord fabric. A control structure is used to elevate the curtains up and down. The control structure includes a first/second roll-up cord shaft, which is placed on the fixed curtain rod to help the first/second controlling components on both sides of the fixed curtain rod operate the first/second roll-up cord shaft independently. The curtain is made to elevate more smoothly.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates generally to a two-way elevating curtain structure, and more particularly to a two-way elevating curtain structure that works smoother and controls more stably.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The conventional blind closes or opens like a curtain for sun or shade. The blind usually starts from the bottom. The sunlight reflects into the house in different angles depending on the time and outdoor objects; therefore, to shade the sunlight at certain angles, it must lower most of the curtain to create shade, which may cause the indoor and outdoor air to fail to circulate. Although the lighter sunlight is stopped from coming into the house, poor air circulation and insufficient light is created in the house.

To solve the disadvantages created from the conventional blind mentioned above, the industry developed a structure that works in two directions. In addition to closing and opening the blind up and down from the bottom, the top of the curtain can also come down to the bottom. The bottom can also be drawn up to the fixed curtain rod. All positions of the curtain (not just from the bottom of the curtain) are controlled going up and down, keeping out the sunlight that is at different angles without stopping the circulation and natural outdoor sunlight. This improved curtain can address the disadvantages of the conventional curtain. To control the bottom or top of the blind to go up and down, the instrument used still has the disadvantages of interference and disruptive movement, therefore, it is necessary to improve the structure.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement in the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

To this end, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The installation of the control structure 50 uses the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 to operate the bottom 43 and top 41 of the cord fabric to go up and down independently. Therefore, during the operation, it will not be stuck because of the interference. Also, the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 are wrapped by the pull strings 11 12 13 14; therefore, the wrapping movement is more stable because of the support of the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52, which makes the operation of the two-way curtain more smooth and stable.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

As shown in FIGS. 1˜2, there is a preferred embodiment of the present invention.

The invention includes a fixed curtain rod 10, which uses the pull strings 11 12 13 14 of the first/second controlling component 20 30 on both sides, and which moves the cord fabric 40 up and down (same as the conventional components, therefore, it is not stated here in detail). The improved feature of the present invention is the control structure 50, which includes the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 that is placed on the shaft 10 inside the fixed curtain rod 10. One end of the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 is made to connect to the first/second controlling components 20 30, so that when the controlling cords 21 31 of the first/second controlling components 20 30 are pulled down, it drives the controlled component 20 30 to the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Moreover, the first roll-up cord shaft 51 is wrapped by the pull strings 11 12, and one end of the pull strings 11 12 go through the fixed curtain rod 10 and through the top 41 of the cord fabric 40. The cloth cover 42 that is connected to the bottom 43, and the second roll-up cord shaft 52 is wrapped around by the pull strings 13 14. One end of the pull strings 13 14 goes through the fixed curtain rod 10 and is secured to the top 41 of the cord fabric 40.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, when the bottom 43 of the cord fabric 40 must go up to close the cloth cover 42, the controlling cord 21 of the first control component 20 is pulled down to move the pull strings 11 12 of the first roll-up cord shaft 51 up and pull the bottom 43 up to close the cloth cover 42.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, when the top 41 of the cord fabric 40 must be pulled down to the bottom 43, the controlling cord 31 of the second control component 30 is pulled down to move the pull strings 13 14 of the second roll-up cord shaft 52 down, and pull the top 41 down to the cloth cover 42.

As shown in FIG. 5, the first/second controlling component 20 30 can be placed on both sides of the surface of the fixed curtain rod 10 (the first control component 20 is disclosed here for description), so that the first/second controlling component 20 30 is placed on the surface of the fixed curtain rod 10 in 90-degree angle. The component 20 30 uses one end of the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52 to connect to the bevel gear 511 and locks in with the bevel gear 201 of the first/second controlling components 20 30. The first and second controlling components would now not be unable to use because of the wall, and the assembly is made easy and convenient to operate.

As shown in FIG. 6, the present invention is also applicable to a Roman curtain 60.

As shown in FIG. 7, when the width of the cord fabric 40 is larger, a third set of pull strings 15 16 can also be added to the first/second roll-up cord shaft 51 52, and connected to the top 41 of the cord fabric 40, cloth cover 42 and bottom 43 to make the opening and closing operation more stable.

Claims

1. A two-way elevating curtain structure, comprising:

a fixed curtain rod being comprised of a first/second controlling component using pull strings on both sides thereof so as to move cord fabric up and down, and a control structure, said control structure being comprised of a first/second roll-up cord shaft placed on a shaft inside a fixed curtain rod, making one end of the first/second roll-up cord shaft connect to the first/second controlling components, controlling cords of the first/second controlling components being pulled down, the controlled component to the first/second roll-up cord shaft in driven in clockwise and counter-clockwise directions.

2. The structure defined in claim 1, wherein the first roll-up cord shaft is wrapped by the pull strings, one end of the pull strings going through the fixed curtain rod and through the top of the cord fabric and the cloth cover connected to the bottom, and wherein the second roll-up cord shaft is wrapped around by the pull strings, one end of the pull strings going through the fixed curtain rod and being secured to the top of the cord fabric.

3. The structure defined in claim 1, wherein the first/second controlling component is placed on both sides of the surface of the fixed curtain rod, said first/second controlling component being placed on the surface of the fixed curtain rod in 90-degree angle, one end of the first/second roll-up cord shaft being used to connect to the bevel gear and locked in with the bevel gear of the first/second controlling components.

4. The structure defined in claim 1, wherein said cord fabric is a Roman curtain.

5. The structure defined in claim 1, further comprising:

sets of pull strings added upon the first/second roll-up cord shaft and connected to the top, the cloth cover and bottom of the cord fabric.
