Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Field of the Invention

The invention relates to a figurine ornament, and more particularly, to a puppet ornament capable of swaying movements for enhancing entertaining effects thereof.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

Common porcelain figurine ornaments are generally formed as ceramic integrals of character and animal figurines in various shapes in order to serve different occasions. Such prior figurine ornaments are inflexible and fulfill merely purposes of ornaments having no other functions. Therefore, the aforesaid prior figurine ornaments are rather monotonous and dull while lacking entertaining effects.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the invention is to provide a figurine ornament capable of swaying movements for enhancing entertaining effects thereof.

A figurine ornament according to the invention comprises a supporting shaft, a body section and a head section in various shapes. The supporting shaft has foot sections at a lower end thereof, and vertically inclined upholding posts at appropriate positions at an upper end thereof. The body section is a hollow shape; and has inwardly projecting butting portions at an inner wall thereof, and a notch at a center of an upper opening thereof. The head section has an inwardly horizontal fastening plate at a rear inner wall thereof. The body section is accommodated around the supporting shaft, and the upholding posts of the supporting shaft pushed against the butting portions of the body section, following by accommodating the head around the upper end of the supporting shaft, thereby forming the figurine ornament having the body section and the head section thereof swaying relative to the supporting shaft as a fulcrum thereof for enhancing entertainment effect while serving as an ornament.

To enable a further understanding of said objectives and the technological methods of the invention herein, brief description of the drawings is provided below followed by detailed description of the preferred embodiments.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows an elevational view according to the invention.

FIG. 2 shows an exploded elevational view according to the invention.

FIG. 3 shows a sectional view according to the invention.

FIG. 4 shows an elevational view of another embodiment according to the invention.

FIG. 5 shows an elevational view of yet another embodiment according to the invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1, FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 showing elevational view, exploded elevational view and sectional view according to the invention respectively, a figurine ornament according to the invention comprises a supporting shaft 1, a body section 2 in form of a character or an animal, and a head section 3 coordinating with the body section 2. The supporting shaft 1 has foot sections 11 at a lower end thereof, with the foot sections 11 being in shapes coordinating with an image of the body section 3; and vertically inclined upholding posts 12 at appropriate positions at an upper end thereof, wherein the upper end thereof is a pointed shape. The body section 2 is a hollow structure having inwardly projecting butting portions 21 at an inner wall thereof, and a notch 23 at an upper opening 22 thereof. The head section 3 is also a hollow structure having an inwardly horizontal fastening plate 31 at a rear inner wall thereof, and a horizontal insertion portion 32 at an upper inner wall thereof.

To assembly the aforesaid structures, the body section 2 is accommodated around the supporting shaft 1 in an upward direction, such that the upholding posts 12 of the supporting shaft 1 are pushed against the butting portions 21 at the inner wall thereof. The supporting shaft 1 is penetrated through the opening 22 to accommodate the head section 3 around the upper end of the supporting shaft 1, with a pointed portion of the supporting shaft 1 inserted into the insertion portion 32 of the head section 3, and thus forming a figurine ornament 100. Hence, the head section 3 and the body section 2 of the figurine ornament 100 are allowed with swaying movements relative to the supporting shaft 1 as a fulcrum thereof, thereby enhancing entertaining effects of the figurine ornament 100.

Referring to FIG. 4 showing an elevational view of another embodiment according to the invention, foot section 11a, a body section 2a and a head section 3a may also be designed as other shapes such as a snowman as shown in the diagram for similarly accomplishing swaying effects.

Referring to FIG. 5 showing yet another elevational view of another embodiment according to the invention, foot sections 11b, a body section 2b and a head section 3b may be designed as an animal such as a penguin for similarly accomplishing swaying effects.

Conclusive from the above, using a supporting shaft in conjunction with a body section and a head section, the invention provides a figurine ornaments capable of swaying movements.

It is of course to be understood that the embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the principles of the invention and that a wide variety of modifications thereto may be effected by persons skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the following claims.
