Desk with two desk plates

A desk has double desk-plates and one of the desk-plate capable of being lengthening and shortening to adjust positions thereof. The desk has a larger main desk plate and a secondary desk plate smaller than the main desk plate. An overlapping three-dimensional space exists between the main desk plate the secondary desk plate. Besides, the main desk plate can be pulled out and overlaps the secondary desk plate. Not only a total area for arranging objects of the desk plate of the desk increases, but also the heights of objects arranged on the desk plates are not limited strictly. The desk also has a leg assembly for supporting the main desk plate, a removable shelf connecting to a bottom of the main desk plate, a fixing shelf for connecting the removable shelf and the leg assembly, a supporting stand for connection the secondary desk plate to the fixing shelf. The desk assembled by these components has spaces on the desk plate capable being used flexibly and adequately.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to desks, in particular to a desk with double desk-plates and one of the desk-plate capable of being lengthened and shortened to adjust positions thereof. Thereby, spaces around the desk can be used flexibly and adequately.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

A desk of a prior art has only one desk-plate, so a space on the desk is limited to arrange more objects. If the desk adds an extra-plane on the desk-plate, an extra space of the extra-plane for arrange more materials is increased. However, an overlapping space between the desk-plate and the extra-place is limited by a height of an extra-plane, so it is inconvenient to arrange some higher objects, such as a computer monitor etc. The prior art does not fit a human-based principle.

Due to an improvement of information technology, computer peripheral devises are increasing continuously. For arranging increasingly computer peripheral devises, a user of a desk feel quite often that an area of the desk is not enough. Therefore, it is necessary to design a desk with a larger desk-plate. Besides, the desk will not occupied too mush space, if not be used, so that the desk can be used flexibly.

Because of objects arranged on a main desk plate are heavier usually, a main desk plate should be noticed not only capable of being movable but also structural strength and stability thereof. Otherwise, the main desk plate is not strong and stable enough, the desk may be damaged and objects arranged on the main desk plate may fall from the desk after being pulled and pushed enduringly.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary object of the present invention is to provide a desk with double desk-plates. The desk has a larger main desk plate and a secondary desk plate smaller than the main desk plate. An overlapping three-dimensional space exists between the main desk plate the secondary desk plate. Besides, the main desk plate can be pulled out and overlaps the secondary desk plate. Not only a total area for arranging objects of the desk plate of the desk increases, but also the heights of objects arranged on the desk plates are not limited strictly. The desk also has a leg assembly for supporting the main desk plate, a removable shelf connecting to a bottom of the main desk plate, a fixing shelf for connecting the removable shelf and the leg assembly, a supporting stand for connection the secondary desk plate to the fixing shelf. Thereby, the main desk plate by using the connecting removable shelf is capable of being pulled out and pushed inwards.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the present invention includes a main desk plate 1 with a larger plane area, a secondary desk plate 2 with a smaller plane area, a leg assembly 3 for supporting the main desk plate 1, a removable shelf 4 connecting to a bottom of the main desk plate 1, a fixing shelf 5 for connecting the removable shelf 4 and the leg assembly 3, a supporting stand 6 for connection the secondary desk plate 2 to the fixing shelf 5. In addition, the original position of the secondary desk plate 2 overlaps an above space of the main desk plate 1.

The removable shelf 4 has a pair of parallel holders 40 and 41. The holders 40 and 41 connect respectively to two lateral sides of a bottom of the main desk plate 1. Between the two holders 40, 41 and the fixing shelf 5 is installed with a first sliding stick 42 and a second sliding stick 43 connecting respectively to the holder 40 and holder 41. The first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43 are coved respectively by a first sheath 44 and a second sheath 45. The first sheath 44 and the second sheath 45 are shorter than the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43. One side of the second shelter 22 is fixed to the fixing shelf 5. Thereby, the holders 40 and 41 is capable of changing positions thereof by an axial slide of the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43. Furthermore, the main desk plate 1 is pulled out or pushed inwards relatively to the secondary desk plate 2.

Two ends of the holder 40 and holder 41 are extended respectively with a connecting sheet 401, a connecting sheet 402, a connecting sheet 411 and a connecting sheet 412 toward to a direction of the fixing shelf 5. The connecting sheet 401, the connecting sheet 402, the connecting sheet 411 and the connecting sheet 412 serve to connect the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43 as well as prevent the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43 sliding from the first sheath 44 and the second sheath 45. A first positioning screw bolt 441 and a second positioning screw bolt 451 (not shown). The first positioning screw bolt 441 and the second positioning screw bolt 451 are capable of stretching respectively into the first sheath 44 and the second sheath 45, if necessary, and being contact with the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43 so that the first sliding stick 42 and the second sliding stick 43 are pressed and retained to prevent from displacement thereof. The main desk plate 1 is retained after position adjustment.

Referring to FIG. 2, between the holder 40 and the holder 41 has at least one crossbeam 46 for supporting up the main desk plate 1. A fixing plane 461 at a reserved position of the crossbeam 46 is connected with a third sliding sheath 462 paralleling with the first sheath 44 and the second sheath 45. A third sliding stick 463 is sheathed into the third sliding sheath 462. Two ends of the third sliding stick 463 are fixed respectively on the fixing shelf 5. When the removable shelf 4 moves towards to an axial direction, the third sliding sheath 462 slides on the surface of the third sliding stick 463 for increasing the supporting strength for the removable shelf 4 so as to prevent from damaging the main desk plate 1 because of movement or adjusting position thereof.

For increasing the convenience of the desk, the main desk plate 1 is separated into three planes as FIGS. 3. The main desk plate 1 has a first main desk plate 10, a second main desk plate 11 and a third main desk plate 12. The second main desk plate 11 and the third main desk plate 12 are positioned respectively on a left and a right of the first main desk plate 10. The second main desk plate 11 and the third main desk plate 12 are fixed respectively on the holder 40 and the holder 41 of the removable shelf 4. A front edge of two lateral sides of the first main desk plate 10 protrudes out with two pivots 101 and 102 (not shown) towards respectively to the second main desk plate 11 and the third main desk plate 12. The second main desk plate 11 and the third main desk plate 12 corresponding to the pivots 101 and 102 have respectively a connecting piece 111 and a connecting piece 121 for connecting a pivotal receiver 112 and 122 so as to sheath the pivots 101 and 102. The pivot 101 is capable of moving around in the pivotal receiver 112. Thereby, the first main desk plate 10 is capable of being lifted up and being adjusted an angle of elevation of the first main desk plate 10. A user can use the first main desk plate 10 suitably at any proper position.

For positioning the first main desk plate 10 after adjusting an angle of elevation, a connecting support 466 is installed on the crossbeam 46 of the removable shelf 4 towards to the leg assembly 3 at a vertical direction. The other end of the connecting support 466 is connected with an air pressure tube 7. The other end of the air pressure tube 7 is connected with a free end of the first main desk plate 10. By a motive force produced by the air pressure tube 7, the free end of the first main desk plate 10 is capable of rotating around the pivot 101 as well as being retained at a reserved positioned.

FIGS. 5 and 6 are illustrated with a movement state of the main desk plate 1 and the removable shelf 4 of the present invention. The removable shelf 4 is capable of moving on the fixing shelf 5 at an axial direction. The main desk plate 1 is pulled out, if necessary, with the removable shelf 4 to prevent that the heights of objects placed on the main desk plate 1 are impedes by the secondary desk plate 2 to increase spaces on the main desk plate 1. If a space on the desk is not big enough, the main desk plate 1 is pushed inwards and a space on the secondary desk plate 2 overlapping to the main desk plate 1 also is free for using. Thereby, spaces of the main desk plate 1 and the secondary desk plate 2 are free for using by a proper operation.

Referring to FIG. 4, after the main desk plate 1 is pulled out, the fixing shelf 5 is exposed. In order to prevent from objects falling down on the fixing shelf 5, an arranging box 50 is installed on a hollow position of the fixing shelf 5. A plurality of holes 51 are on a bottom of the arranging box 50. The arranging box 50 serves to put objects, such as writing materials, for a user. The holes 51 serve that computer wires or electric wires pass through the holes so as to connecting with an exterior power or any other necessary equipment.

The present invention is thus described, and it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. A desk with a double desk plates comprising:

a main desk plate with a larger plane area;
a secondary desk plate with a smaller plane area;
a leg assembly for supporting the main desk plate;
a removable shelf connecting to a bottom of the main desk plate,
a fixing shelf for connecting the removable shelf and the leg assembly;
a supporting stand for connection the secondary desk plate to the fixing shelf; and an original position of the secondary desk plate overlapping an upper space of the main desk plate.

2. The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein the removable shelf has a pair of parallel holders; the holders are connected respectively with lateral sides of a bottom of the main desk plate; and between the two holders has at least one crossbeam for connecting the two holders.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 2, wherein between the two holders and the fixing shelf has a first sliding stick and a second sliding stick connecting respectively with the two holders; the first sliding stick and the second sliding stick are covered respectively by a first sheath and the second sheath; the first sheath and the second sheath are respectively shorter than the first sliding stick and the second sliding stick; and one end of the each sheath is fixed on the fixing shelf firmly.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 3, wherein each of the two ends of the holders is extended with a connecting sheet toward the fixing shelf so as to connect the first sliding stick and the second sliding stick; a first positioning screw bolt and a second positioning screw bolt are installed on surfaces of bottoms of the first sheath and the second sheath, respectively; each the positioning screw bolt is capable of stretching into the sheath, and being in contact with the sliding stick so as to fix and press the sliding stick firmly.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 3, wherein a fixing plane of the crossbeam at a reserved position is connected with a third sliding sheath parallel with the first sheath and the second sheath; a third sliding stick is sheathed into the third sliding sheath; and the two ends of the third sliding sheath are fixed on the fixing shelf firmly.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 2, wherein the main desk plate has a first main desk plate, a second main desk plate and a third main desk plate; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate are positioned respectively on a left and a right of the first main desk plate; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate are fixed respectively on the holders of the removable shelf; a front edge of two lateral sides of the first main desk plate is protruded out with two pivots; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate corresponding to the pivots have respectively connecting pieces for connecting pivotal receivers so as to sheath the pivot; and each the pivot is capable of moving around in the pivotal receiver.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 3, wherein the main desk plate has a first main desk plate, a second main desk plate and a third main desk plate; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate are positioned respectively on a left and a right of the first main desk plate; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate are fixed respectively on the holders of the removable shelf; a front edge of two lateral sides of the first main desk plate is protruded out with two pivots; the second main desk plate and the third main desk plate corresponding to the pivots have respectively connecting pieces for connecting pivotal receivers so as to sheath the pivot; and each the pivot is capable of moving around in the pivotal receiver.

The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 6, wherein a connecting support is installed on the crossbeam toward the leg assembly at a vertical direction; the other end of the connecting support is connected with an air pressure tube; the other end of the air pressure tube is connected with a free end of the first main desk plate; by a motive force produced by the air pressure tube, and a free end of the first main desk plate is capable of rotating around the pivot as well as being retained at a reserved positioned.

9. The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 1, wherein an arranging box is installed in a hollow position of the fixing shelf; and a bottom of the arranging box has a plurality of holes.

10. The desk with a double desk plates as claimed in claim 2, wherein an arranging box is installed in a hollow position of the fixing shelf; and a bottom of the arranging box has a plurality of holes.
