Attachment apparatus
An attachment device for converting a hand held power tool into a blower device.
The original application is herein amended by replacement of this substitute specification (which essentially contains corrected line spacing). This substitute specification contains no new matter.
CROSS REFERENCES
The field of this invention pertains to an attachment device for converting a hand held power tool (such as a line trimmer, edger, etc) into most particularly, a blower device, but is not limitative in scope only to such a device.
There are myriads of lawn power tools on the market today. The advent of one primary lawn maintenance tool that is capable of accommodating multi-power-tool attachments has cut down on the number of cumbersome lawn care apparatuses necessary to maintain beautiful lawns. Still, more streamlining regarding tool versatility, ease of assembly, lower manufacturing costs, etc. needs to be realized. This invention is the focus of such streamlining.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThis present invention pertains to an attachment device for converting a hand held power tool (such as a line trimmer, edger, etc) into a blower.
The fan-nut assembly of the attachment device attaches onto the threaded shaft of the hand held power tool. The operation of the power tool with the attachment device provides a mechanism for blowing air that is beneficial for debris removal.
The drawings illustrate an embodiment of the present invention:
An attachment apparatus for conversion (or otherwise utilization) of a hand held power tool (having a rotary driven threaded shaft) for most particularly, a blower device, but is not limitative in scope only to such a device. Said attachment apparatus has a “fan-nut assembly” comprised of a fan (exemplary to that shown in drawing) that is attached to a nut that screws onto the threaded shaft of a hand held power tool. The fan-nut assembly may be constructed of any durable material.
Claims
1. An attachment apparatus for conversion (or otherwise utilization) of a hand held power tool (having a rotary driven threaded shaft) for most particularly, a blower device, but is not limitative in scope only to such a device. Said attachment apparatus has a “fan-nut assembly” comprised of a fan that is attached to a nut that screws onto the threaded shaft of a hand held power tool.
2. The attachment apparatus of claim 1 is particularly adaptive for blowing air, but is not limited in scope only to such action.
3. The apparatus of claim 1 is a simple, easy to assemble “fan-nut” compilation comprised of a fan attached to a nut that screws onto the threaded shaft of a hand held power device.
