Urinal with Hygienic Sprinkler

The upper part of the urinal holds the hygienic sprinkler (1) with an adjustable articulated attachment (2) and the supply system for hot, cold or lukewarm water supply provided with a blender. An articulated attachment (2) is adjustable, while one end position of the hygienic sprinkler (1) ensures that the water flowing from it never overflows the inner edge of the urinal body (3). The inflow of flushing and cleaning water into the urinal is controlled via the flushing and cleaning water control (7), which may conveniently be an optoelectronic sensor. The hygienic sprinkler (1) is switched in operation via the sprinkler control (8), which may more conveniently be an optoelectronic sensor responding to intentional motions of hand within 5 to 40 cm distance in front of the sensor.

Description
TECHNICAL FIELD

This invention refers to a urinal with hygienic sprinkler for personal hygiene, operated via a separate control.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART

Urinals of various shapes and sizes have been currently in use with which the main emphasis is laid on their use in a hygienic way, while most of the concern refers to design of sprinklers and cleaning devices such as various jets and sprinkler heads that can provide for a perfect cleaning of the urinal following the use. These are closely linked with other mechanisms designed for actuation of the above in form of optoelectronic sensors or mechanical devices operated by hand or foot, or such that are built-in the doors or door frames. Furthermore, the urinals are equipped with a variety of sophisticated, appropriately designed components such as traps for draining flush water from the urinal and preventing the troublesome and undesirable sanitary sewerage odour from spreading. The shape and proportions of urinal dimensions play a significant role, in respect of the urinal hygienic use, to prevent the urine from splashing back after it strikes the urinal inner surface. Because of this the urinals that are currently in production are of various shapes. Last but not least a variety of designs exist, which address the issue of fastening the shell onto the wall and/or floor. These urinal designs, however, fail to provide an adequate solution for a hygienic sprinkler. This availability has been provided so far through the use of bidets, installed separately in toilets or bathrooms, which require that these facilities should be of greater size. Included in the related art are also toilet bowls provided with personal hygiene components. The Czech utility design No. 6812 presents the toilet bowl with a bottom complementary sprinkler. This is positioned in a way ensuring that the water stream is directed upwards and consists of a device for fastening the sprinkler arm onto the toilet bowl allowing adjusting the sprinkler head to a standby position under the toilet bowl seat or to a working position in the centre and of a heated or warm water supply facility supplying the water into the sprinkler head arm. The arm is of a tubular shape, and serves as the water conduit running between the seat and the bowl. The inlet, which may be articulated around the vertical axis, is connected to a blender fitting or a valve.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The above shortcomings are overcome with a design solution according to this invention the nature of which consists in addressing the design of the pissoir with sprinkler intended for personal hygiene particularly for males who have undergone a medical operation on their phallus, but also for the use of pissoir in a conventional way. The nature of the invention consists of the body of the urinal itself, with the built-in attachment components for fastening the shell onto the wall, or another support structure, components for draining the urine and flushing water from the urinal, with flushing water supply components for flushing and cleaning of the shell being provided in upper part of the shell. The upper part of the urinal also holds the hygienic sprinkler with an adjustable articulated joint and supply of cold, hot or lukewarm water via a blender fitting. Flushing and cleaning water is let into the urinal by operating the flushing and cleaning control handle or, more conveniently, using an optoelectronic sensor. The hygienic sprinkler is initiated with a manual control, or with an optoelectronic sensor responding to intentional hand motions within 5 to 40 cm distance adjusted in a way preventing the hygienic sprinkler mechanism from triggering following an incidental traverse of a person past the urinal. The controls need not be an integrated part of the urinal shell. The blender fitting will set an appropriate amount of cold and hot water to obtain the required water temperature, presetting of the blender may be manual and/or electronic. The hygienic sprinkler is adjustable using an articulated attachment, while the sprinkler head end position will be such so as to prevent the flushing water from overflowing the inner edge of the urinal.

DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES SHOWN IN THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows the front view of the urinal with a hygienic sprinkler.

FIG. 2 shows the side view of the urinal with a hygienic sprinkler.

EXAMPLES OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF INVENTION

The body 3 of the urinal is provided with the attachment elements 4 to provide for fastening of the urinal onto the wall or to some other supporting structure. In the bottom part of the urinal there are the drainage outlets 6 for draining the liquids from the urinal, in the upper part there are the water inlets 5 for supplying the water for flushing and cleaning of the urinal. In its upper part there is also the hygienic sprinkler 1 with an adjustable articulated attachment 2 and water inlet for supply of the hot, cold or lukewarm water needed for flushing and cleaning, including a blender. The articulated attachment 2 is adjustable with the end position of the sprinkler being such that the water flowing into the urinal 1 is may not overflow the inner edges of the urinal 3. Flushing and cleaning water is let into the urinal by operating the flushing and cleaning control handle7 or, more conveniently, by an optoelectronic sensor. The hygienic sprinkler 1 is activated by means of the sprinkler control handle8 or, more conveniently, by an optoelectronic sensor responding to intentional hand motions within 5 to 40 cm distance, adjusted in a way preventing the hygienic sprinkler 1 mechanism from triggering following an incidental traverse of a person past the urinal. These controls 7, 8 need not be integrated parts of the urinal body 3.
