Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a pedal structure, and more particularly to an auxiliary pedal structure for a vehicle tire that is spanned on the tire of vehicle for the user to stand or to sit on and it can be assembled and detached easily.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional recreational vehicle or a multipurpose vehicle is usually mounted a ladder on the fixed position at the back door thereof due to the aforesaid vehicles are usually higher, so that users can climb the ladder to take or place goods on the frame of the car roof.

However, since the ladder is fixed to the back door of the vehicle, it is inconvenient for the user to take or place the goods in the front of the frame, and the ladder will influence the beauty of the vehicle, and it will also block the eyeshot when the driver look on the situation behind the vehicle. So, not every user will accept such device.

Therefore, an improved auxiliary pedal structure for a vehicle tire has been developed, as shown in FIGS. 1-3. The present invention includes a spanning element 10 which is a spanning tube 11 with the shape like a reverse U that is spanned on the tire of vehicle. Both ends of the spanning tube 11 are inserted with pipes 12, and at the mouth of each end of the spanning tube 11 is defined a positioning hole 111 for inserting an elastic positioning clip 13. Several groups of connecting holes 121 are defined on the pipes 12 for positioning the elastic positioning clip 13, so that the user can move the pipes 12 forward or backward by pressing the elastic positioning clip 13 so that extending length spanning to both ends of the spanning element 1 0 can be controlled so as to achieve the best effect on positioning. An vertical assembly 20 disposed on the outer surface of the vehicle tire contains two erect shafts 21, the top ends of the erect shafts 21 are positioned to the ends of the spanning tube 11 with the reverse U-shaped respectively. A block pole 22 can be disposed between the erect shafts 21 of the vertical assembly 20 to provide an auxiliary effect on positioning. A bearing assembly 30 which is pivoted on the bottom of the erect assembly 20 contains two horizontal driving poles 31, one end of driving pole 31 is fixed to the bottom end of the vertical pole 21 of the vertical assembly 20 respectively, and a panel 32 is mounted on the bearing member 30 for the user to sit or to step onto the vehicle.

Although the conventional auxiliary pedal structure can not only be mounted optionally on the vehicle tire for the user to sit or to step onto the vehicle, but assembled and detached easily, it still has some disadvantages describes as follows:

Firstly, the spanning element 10 consists of too many components, thus it is difficult to assemble and is high cost, and each end of spanning tube 11 with the reverse U-shaped is respectively mounted on a pipe 12 that is fixed by an elastic positioning clip 13, which is unstable.

Secondly, the maximum angle that spanning element 10 can be rotated is approximately vertical to the erect assembly 20, which is inconvenient to assemble.

The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.

Referring to FIG. 4, an auxiliary pedal structure for a vehicle tire in accordance with the present invention comprises a spanning element 40, two vertical pole 50, a pedal 60, two first connecting members 70 and two second connecting members 80, wherein the spanning element 40 is a reverse U-shaped metal tube defined with a plurality of adjusting holes 41 in each end thereof. A positioning hole 51 is defined in an upper end of the vertical pole 50, in a lower end of the vertical pole 50 is defined a plurality of adjusting holes 52. The pedal 60 includes a reverse U-shaped frame 61 defined with two locking holes 611 in each end thereof, on the proper position of each end of the reverse U-shaped frame 61 are defined two through holes 61 2. In the inner side of the reverse U-shaped frame 61 are disposed two supporting poles 62. A nut 621 and a plug 622 are fixed to each end of the supporting pole 62 by rolling or punching, and a screw hole 6211 is defined in the center of the nut 621. One end of the plug 622 is formed with an arc-shaped plane 6221, and in the center of the plug 622 is defined a through hole 6222. The first connecting member 70 comprises an arc-shaped connecting section 71 and two connecting legs 72 extended from the end of the connecting section 71. The second connecting member 80 comprises an arc-shaped connecting section 81 and two connecting legs 82 extended from the end of the connecting section 81.

When the user assembles the invention, as shown in FIGS. 5-7, the arc-shaped connecting sections 71 of the first connecting members 70 are spanned both ends of the spanning element 40 and are fixed to the proper adjusting holes 41 on the spanning element 40 with a bolt 73 cooperating with a nut 74 respectively. The two connecting legs 72 of the connecting members 70 are clamped to the upper end of the vertical poles 50 and locked to the positioning holes 51 in the upper ends of the vertical poles 50 with a rivet 75 respectively, so that the connecting legs 72 can be rotated. The two supporting poles 62 are disposed in the inner side of the reverse U-shaped frame 61 of the pedal 60 in such a manner that the arc-shaped against surface 6221 of the cover 622 will abut against the reverse U-shaped frame 61. Screws 63 are penetrated through the screw holes 621 on the nuts 621 and the through holes 6222 on the cover 6222, and engaged and locked with the screw holes 6211 on the nut 621. The arc-shaped connecting sections 81 of the second connecting members 80 are mounted on two ends of the reverse U-shaped frame 61 of the pedal 60, and are fixed to the locking holes 611 on the two end of the reverse U-shaped frame 61 with rivets 83 respectively. Referring to FIG. 8, the spanning element 40 can be spanned easily a vehicle tire A by rotating the spanning element 40 more than 90 degree. Then, the vertical poles 50 are rotated to abut against the outer surface of the tire A to form the stable spanning. The pedal 60 is rotated outwardly to form a horizontal position. And the arc-shaped connecting sections 81 of the second connecting members 80 are pressed against to the edge of the vertical poles 50 for the user to sit or to step onto the vehicle.

Referring to FIGS. 9 and 1 0, the user can detach the bolt 73 and the nut 74 of the first connecting member 70 according to the width of the tire A, and move the position of the arc-shaped connecting sections 71 to span and mount on the position of two ends of the spanning member 40 and then re-lock and fix the bolt 73 and the nut 74 so as to adjust the width of the straddling element 40 and attain the best positioning effect. Similarly, the user can detach the bolt 84 and the nut 85 of the second connecting member 80 and move the position the connecting legs 82 of the second connecting members 80 clipping the vertical poles 50 and re-positioned the second connecting member 80 so as to adjust the height of the pedal 60. By such arrangement, the spanning element 40 can be detached from the tire A easily, and the spanning element 40 and the pedal 60 can be rotated to abut against the vertical poles 50 by the first connecting members 70 and second connecting members 80 so as to reduce the size of the auxiliary pedal structure, thus it is facilitated for carrying and restoring.

For the above-mentioned embodiment, the present invention has some advantages describes as follows:

Firstly, the present invention consists not only of fewer components, but also lower costs, and it is positioned by locking method which is more stably and can avoid being shaking.

Secondly, when the user assembles the auxiliary pedal device on the tire A, the spanning element 40 can be rotated more than 90 degrees, which is easily assembled and very convenient.

Thirdly, the width of the spanning element 40 is adjustable according to the tires A with different widths, also the height of the pedal can be adjusted according to the user's requirement, which is very practical.

While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it should be clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
