Multi-functional mobile seat platform apparatus for relieving aches or pains while working
The multi-functional mobile seat platform is practical and affordable for any person of ordinary skill to use and to enjoy pain relieving conditions while working on or near the ground or floor.
My invention was born on the floors of past jobs and pertains to the service industry. The problem is tired aching bones related to work on all fours.
SUMMARY OF INVENTIONAn improved seat apparatus for relieving aches or pains while working and for added support while shooting.
Be it known that I, Floyd S. Westfall, citizen of The United States, resident of Ferguson in the county of St. Louis and State of Missouri, have invented a new and useful improvement in seats; and I declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, such as will enable others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form a part of this specification. The nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of a mobile platform, as will be hereinafter more fully set forth.
The combination of the seat pad, A, rotating platform, B, with D-rings, C, and adjustable strap, D, and the utility belt, E, with the adjustable leg, F, mounting block, G, cavity, H, cart, I, casters, J, all constructed and arranged substantially as and for the purpose herein set forth this 9 Dec. 2005.
Claims
1. I do claim that my invention is related to means of improving less than desirable working conditions, increasing production and the same for wages and profits. In general, the invention is concerned with a means of relieving aches, pains and grief experienced by workers and businesses, due to the task of performing efficiently while crawling, kneeling, squatting or bending over for long lengths of time.
- In recent years there has been a marked increase in the demand for housing and foodstuff and it is a major problem and concern to the farming and housing industries to achieve such quotas because of less than desirable working conditions. It is estimated that the loss affected by less than desirable working conditions amounts to approximately one-fourth the gross value of the product. Moreover even though complete losses may not occur, the task of maintaining the pace of desirable working conditions is particularly critical, and this is most evident in certain products.
- As one example, high-end flooring, which is to be installed while crawling on hands and knees, should be installed with a sub-floor at a rate of ten square foot per every twenty minutes, if the floor is not completed in a timely manner, and if the unfinished work is permitted to spill into the next day, losses set in and the man hour work load is increased.
- Harvesting in the farming industry presents another example of problems having similar concerns. Foods that can be harvested by machine can be done so in practically perfect condition. However some foodstuff must still be harvested by hand picking the fruit or vegetable, and the like will spoil or change in flavor in a matter of hours if left unpicked. The time required in moving such foods to market is critical. Heretofore it has not been possible in the conventional sense, to maintain a substantially constant work pace within the conditions of these tasks, nor has it been possible to increase production for any substantial amount of time.
- In the prior arts related to seats, it has been general practice to provide seating for all occasions, eating, working or watching television, as seats are the principle means of relaxing. In such seating it is customary to offer a wide variety of choices to choose from. The present invention contemplates certain improvements over the former disclosures.
- In the present invention I have provided an improved means of controlling both the aches and pains, and work performance within conditions requiring bending over, squatting or crawling, by providing what I consider to be an entirely different concept of seat as to the user's needs, the construction of the apparatus components used for various tasks, and the quick add-on or removable quality of the apparatus components.
- The object of the invention is to provide an improved method and means of relieving aches or pains or of maintaining in a substantially constant comfortable condition, persons working so that the same may work under more desirable conditions without inefficiency due to aches or pains. The nature of my invention consists in the construction and arrangement of an improved seat apparatus and is more fully set-forth in the specification and accompanying drawing part of the application.
