Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to a water wiper, particularly to one convenient to replace a wiping plate, simple to assemble and disassemble, quite secure after assembled, possible to contact closely the outer surface of an object to be wiped for quickly and cleanly wiping off water drops on the object.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional water wiper shown in FIG. 1, includes a handle 11 provided with a plate groove 12 in a lower portion, and a plastic wiping plate 13 having one side fitted tightly in the plate groove 12, and then secured with glue poured in the plate groove or being nailed tightly with nails (N) to fix the wiping plate 13 with the body 11. After the conventional water wiper is used for a period of time, the glue may degenerate and fall off or the nails may be too slender to hold tightly the wiping plate 13 with the handle 11, or the sharp nails may scar the surface of an object to be wiped. In addition, the locations of nails may rift to make the wiper useless and to be thrown away, making up waste and pollute the environment.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

This invention has been devised to offer a water wiper easily assembled and disassembled, possible to contact closely on an object to be wiped.

The feature of the invention is a body provided with a handle and a linking member, a wiping plate provided with a wiping member and a locking member, and a securing strip provided with plural insert pins. The wiping plate is combined with the body by their linking members, and secured stably with the body by the securing strip by means of the projecting pins inserted in lock holes of the body and the wiping plate.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

This invention will be better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional water wiper;

FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a water wiper in the present invention;

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of the water wiper in the present invention; and,

FIG. 4 is a view of the water wiper in a using condition in the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

A preferred embodiment of a water wiper in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, includes a body 2, a wiping plate 3, and a securing strip 4 as main components combined together.

The body 2 is provided with a handle 20 in one side, and a linking member 21 in the other side. The linking member 21 is provided with an insert groove 210, plural notches 211 formed in the insert groove 210, plural locking holes 212 spaced apart equidistantly, and a lengthwise outer edge 213.

The wiping plate 3 is combined with the body 2, made of silica gel, provided with a wiping member 30 at an outer side, a wiping blade 300 respectively formed at two lateral sides, a second blade 301 formed in a lengthwise outer side, and a linking member 31 formed in an inner lengthwise side to combine with the linking member 21 of the body 2. The wiping member 30 has a cross section of a cross shape, and the second wiping blade 301 has a cross section of a triangular cone shape. Further, the linking member 30 has an insert strip 310 with plural gaps 311 spaced apart to correspond to the notches 211 of the body 2. And the linking member 31 has plural lock holes 312 to correspond to the lock holes 212 of the body 2, and a lengthwise projecting ridge 313 to fit with the lengthwise outer edge of the body 2.

The securing strip 4 is to secure the wiping plate 3 with the body 2, provided with plural insert projections 40 spaced apart to project inward to fit in the notches 211 of the body 2, and plural insert pins 41 spaced apart to protrude inward to fit in both the lock holes 312 of the wiping plate 3 and the lock holes 212 of the body 2.

In assembling, referring to FIGS. 2, 3 and 4, at first, place the linking member 31 of the wiping plate 3 on the linking member 21 of the body 2, letting the insert strip 310 of the linking member 31 of wiping plate 3 insert in the insert groove 212 of the body 2, with the projecting ridge 313 of the linking member 31 resting on the outer edge 213 of the body 2. Further, the gaps 311 of the wiping plate 30 may face the notches 211 of the body 2, and the lock holes 312 of the linking member 31 may be aligned to the lock holes 212 of the body 2. Then insert the insert projections 40 of the securing strip 4 in the notches 211 of the body 2, and the insert pins 41 through the lock holes 312 of the wiping plate 3 and further in the lock holes 212 of the body 2, finishing assembly of the water wiper.

Next, in using, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, when the water wiper is to be used for wiping water drops on the surface of a glass, hold the handle 20 of the body 2, place the wiping member 30 of the wiping plate 3 on the surface of the glass, and use the first wiping blade 300 for wiping water drops. In case that any dirty matters such as dead insects, solid dirt, etc. then the second wiping blade 391 is used. As the wiping plate 3 is made of silica gel, it can closely and softly contact the surface of a glass. So the water wiper can carry out wiping work quickly and cleanly.

If the wiping plate 3 is used, worn and has to be replaced with a new one, the securing strip 4 is only needed to be taken off, and then the old wiping plate 3 is removed from the body 2, and a new one can be combined with the body 2 and then the securing strip is fitted with the wiping plate 3 and the body 2 with convenience.

The invention has the following advantages, as can be understood from the foresaid description.

1. The wiping plate can be easily and quickly replaced with a new one.

2. The wiping plate is made of silica gel, possible to closely and softly contacting the surface of an object for swiftly and cleanly removing water drops

3. It is provided with the second wiping blade having a cross section of a triangular cone for removing dirty matters such as dead insects.

4. The securing strip can be combined with the body by means of inserting or pulling out the insert ridge 310 fitting in the insert groove 210, the projecting ridge 313 resting on the outer edge 213, and the insert pins 41 inserting in the lock holes of both the wiping plate 3 and those 212 of the body 2. Therefore, the water wiper can be assembled and disassembled with convenience, speed, stability, and without using glue or nails, having a long life and cutting down its cost.

While the preferred embodiment of the invention has been described above and it will be recognized and understood that various modifications may be made therein and the appended claims are intended to cover all such modifications that may fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.
