Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

This invention relates to an improvement of a small-sized cash-storing envelope which is given out at a window of a bank, a post office or the like, or at a shop in which an ATM is installed, and is used mainly for storing cash.

2. Description of Prior Art

In general, small-sized cash envelopes are available at banks, post offices, etc., to store withdrawn cash. A shop in which an ATM is installed also offers the cash envelope. A user puts the withdrawn cash in the cash envelope.

The bank offers the cash envelope as a part of its services for the sake of user's or depositor's convenience. The cost for the envelope is large and is a burden on the bank.

Since a name of the bank or the like is usually printed on this kind of cash envelope, the envelope has been used only for storing cash.

As the cash-storing envelope, the followings have been suggested.

Japanese patent publication No. 2003-291979 discloses a cash-storing envelope provided with a covering piece having a space for a message.

Japanese patent publication No. 2004-217299 discloses an envelope provided with a plurality of flaps so that the stored cash is prevented from slipping out.

As mentioned above, a cash-envelope is prepared and the cost is incurred by a bank or the like, and a name, an illustration, etc. of the bank are printed on it. Therefore, the envelope after use for storing the cash is not used for any other purposes like putting a letter in it, for example, though the size and the shape are substantially the same. Even when it is reused, the purpose is limited to sorting out slips or to a memo pad.

In view of the existing circumstances and in order to be responsive to a user's request like a bank for an effective use of the cash envelope, it is considered that the cost for the cash envelope may be paid by a sponsor when the cash envelope can be used as an advertising medium. The cash envelope may also be effectively used when it can be used as an envelope for mail.

In view of these problems, the purpose of the invention is to make a cash-storing envelope usable as an envelope for a letter (for postal mail) easily when the need arises, while utilizing the envelope as an advertising medium.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

To achieve the above-mentioned purposes, a small-sized cash-storing envelope of this invention comprises an advertisement indicating piece or an advertising coupon detachably provided on a flap of an opening part of an envelope body and/or on a reverse side edge of the opening part.

According to this invention, the cash-storing envelope, which is given out at a bank counter, a post office or a place where an ATM is installed, has the noteworthy advantage that the envelope can be reused as the envelope for a letter of a postal service or the like as the need arises, while the obverse and reverse sides of the opening part are utilized as the advertising and information medium, or as a coupon for an article of commerce, a service, discount, etc. Since the advertisement indicating piece or the advertising coupon can be easily detached or pulled off from the envelope body, it does not take time and effort upon being reused as an envelope.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The first embodiment of the invention is described in detail hereinafter based on FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is a front view of the small-sized cash-storing envelope. An envelope body 1 is made of paper or resin film. An advertisement displaying piece 3A is continuously provided on an upper edge 3a of a flap 3 of an opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 by the intermediary of a perforated line 4 to facilitate detaching. A postal code indication part 5 is provided at a relevant part of the envelope body 1. In this embodiment, an advertisement of a post office is used for the sake of convenience.

Consequently, when used as a cash bag, the advertisement indicating piece 3A fulfills a function of advertisement. When used as an envelope, it can be used as an ordinary envelope by detaching the advertisement indicating piece 3A at the perforated line 4.

In addition to the use for the advertisement, the advertisement indicating piece 3A may alternately be formed as an advertising coupon 3B for the article of commerce, a meal discount coupon or the like, for example.

FIG. 2 shows a front view of the small-sized cash-storing envelope of the second embodiment. The advertisement indicating piece 3A is continuously provided on the upper edge 3a of the flap 3 of a first opening part 2 of the paper envelope body 1 by the intermediary of the perforated line 4 for easy detachment. The postal code indicating part 5 is provided at the relevant part of the envelope body 1.

Further, at least one advertising coupon 3B is continuously provided on the upper part of the advertisement indicating piece 3A by the intermediary of a second perforated line 4.

Consequently, when used as a cash bag, the advertisement indicating piece 3A fulfills the function of advertisement. When used as an envelope, it can be used as an ordinary envelope by detaching the advertisement indicating piece 3A at first perforated line 4. The continued advertising coupon 3B for the article of commerce, a meal discount, etc., for example, can also be detached and used.

The advertising coupon 3B continued to the upper part may alternately be another advertisement indicating piece 3A, or both upper and lower pieces may be the advertising coupons 3B.

The advertising coupon 3B itself may be structured to be separable into a plurality of sections by forming a plurality of lateral perforated lines.

FIGS. 3 and 4 show the third embodiment of the small-sized cash-storing envelope. The advertisement indicating piece 3A is continuously provided on the upper edge 3a of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the paper envelope body 1 by the intermediary of the first perforated line 4 for easy detachment. The postal code indicating part 5 is provided at the relevant part of the envelope body 1.

A width of the advertisement indicating piece 3A is formed to be smaller than that of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1. When the opening part 2 is closed by folding the flap 3, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is inserted into the envelope so that the stored bills are prevented from slipping out.

Thus, as shown in FIG. 4, when the envelope is used as the cash bag, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is inserted into the envelope together with the flap 3, and the whole flap formed to be large as the advertisement indicating piece 3A functions to increase the friction resistance against the bills, whereby slipping out of the cash is sufficiently prevented.

FIG. 5 shows the fourth embodiment of the small-sized cash-storing envelope in which the advertisement indicating piece 3A having the width smaller than the opening part 2 is continuously provided on the upper edge portion 3a of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1. When the opening part 2 is closed by folding the flap 3, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is inserted into the envelope so that the stored bills may be prevented from slipping out.

In this embodiment, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is not structured to be easily detached at a perforated line. The envelope not only fulfills the function of the advertisement medium as the advertisement indicating piece 3A is provided, the envelope is also used as an envelope for a letter by folding, laying and gluing the advertisement indicating piece 3A onto the flap 3.

Accordingly, in this embodiment, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is formed to have a shape substantially similar to the flap 3.

However, from the above-mentioned purpose, it is clear that the invention may be materialized without specifying the size and shape of the advertisement indicating piece 3A, in particular.

As shown in FIG. 6, the advertisement indicating piece 3A is continuously provided on the upper edge 3a of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 made of paper or resin film by the intermediary of the perforated line 4 for easy detachment, and the postal code indicating part 5 is provided on the relevant part of the envelope body 1. In this embodiment, the advertisement of the post office is used for the sake of convenience. In this embodiment, the upper edge of the advertisement indicating piece 3A is formed to have an arc-shape.

The advertisement indicating piece 3A has the posting part 3C. In this embodiment, an engaging hole 3D to be engaged with a hook is formed in the upper arc-shaped part. The posting part 3C may alternatively be a space for pinning or fixing by a small magnet. In this embodiment, the calendar is printed on the advertisement indicating piece 3A.

Accordingly, the envelope may be attached to a notice board, a refrigerator or the like using the posting part 3C. The function of the envelope is utilized for putting receipts, memo pads, etc. in it. The envelope can also be used as a calendar. When the envelope is used as a postal envelope, it can be used as an ordinary postal envelope by detaching the advertisement indicating piece 3A at the perforated line 4.

The advertisement indicating piece 3A may also be formed to be used not only as the calendar but also as the advertising coupon 3B for the article of commerce, meal discount, etc., for example.

FIGS. 7 to 9 show the small-sized cash-storing envelope having the advertisement indicating pieces 3A on the obverse and reverse sides of the envelope body 1. In this embodiment, the advertisement indicating pieces 3A or the advertising coupons 3B are detachably provided on the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 and on the reverse side edge 2A of the opening part 2, and the postal code indicating part 5 is provided at the relevant part of the envelope body 1.

The perforated line 4 is formed between the upper edge 3a of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B for easy detachment.

The advertisement indicating piece 3A or the like may be provided on either one of the obverse and reverse sides of the envelope body 1.

As shown in FIGS. 10 to 12, the small-sized cash-storing envelope in this embodiment is provided with the advertisement indicating pieces 3A on the obverse and reverse sides. Namely, the advertisement indicating pieces 3A or advertising coupons 3B are detachably provided one on the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 and one on the reverse side edge 2A of the opening part 2, and the postal code indicating part 5 is provided at a relevant part of the envelope body 1.

To enable the attachment and detachment, the adhesion part 3E is provided on a reverse face 3D of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 so that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may detachably adhere thereto.

In a similar manner, the adhesion part 2B is provided on the reverse side edge 2A of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 so that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may detachably adhere thereto.

As the adhesive agent, an existing pressure-sensitive adhesive agent is preferable, however, any appropriate adhesive agent may be used provided that it is releasable.

The side of the advertisement indicating pieces 3A facing the adhesion part 3E of the reverse face 3D of the flap 3 is preferably made of an easily releasable synthetic resin film, or a paper sheet processed to have a silicon film.

Whichever is used, the adhesion parts 3E, 2B function to attach or detach the advertisement indicating pieces 3A or the advertising coupons 3B, and to adhesively fix the flap 3 when the envelope body 1 is closed later.

As shown in FIG. 13 concerning the eighth embodiment, a small-sized cash-storing envelope comprises an advertisement indicating piece 3A or an advertising coupon 3B provided on a bottom part of an envelope body 1 in a detachable manner. Namely, the envelope is formed to fold a sheet and the overlapping portions 1a, 1b or 1c of the folded sheet are adhered each other. There is an overlapping portion 1a at the bottom of the envelope body 1. In this case, the overlapping portion 1a provides the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B to extend the overlapping portion 1a. Between the overlapping portion 1a and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, there is formed a perforated line 1A(cut with dotted line), so that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may be separated with hands from the overlapping portion 1a of the envelope body 1, when it is required to do so.

As shown in FIG. 14 concerning the ninth embodiment, a small-sized cash-storing envelope comprises an advertisement indicating piece 3A or an advertising coupon 3B provided on a side part of the reverse side of an envelope body 1 in a detachable manner. Normally, the envelope is formed by folding a sheet and the overlapping portions 1a, 1b or 1c of the folded sheet are adhered each other. There is an overlapping portion 1b at the side portion of the envelope body 1. In this embodiment, the overlapping portion 1b provides the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B to extend the overlapping portion 1b. Between the overlapping portion 1b and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, there is formed a perforated line 1A (cut with dotted line), so that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may be separated with hands from the overlapping portion 1b of the envelope body 1, when it is required to do so.

As shown in FIG. 15 concerning the tenth embodiment, a small-sized cash-storing envelope comprises an advertisement indicating piece 3A or an advertising coupon 3B provided on a center part of the reverse side of an envelope body 1 in a detachable manner. Normally, the envelope is formed by folding a sheet and the overlapping portions 1a, 1b or 1c of the folded sheet are adhered each other. There is an overlapping portion 1c at the central portion of the envelope body 1 in up and down directions. In this embodiment, the overlapping portion 1c provides the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B to extend the overlapping portion 1c. Between the overlapping portion 1c and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, there is formed a perforated line 1A (cut with dotted line), so that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may be separated with hands from the overlapping portion 1c of the envelope body 1, when it is required to do so.

According to this invention, the envelope may be used for storing cash, a postal purpose, and a letter, and may also be used as an advertising medium, various coupons, etc. Therefore, the area of its invention is extremely wide.

When the invention is embodied, there is the advantage that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B can be detached easily when a perforated line 4 is formed between the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B and the upper edge 3a of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 or the reverse side edge 2A of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 to facilitate detaching.

Further, in the embodiment of the invention, when adhesion parts 3E, 2B are provided on the reverse face 3A of the flap 3 of the opening part 2 of the envelope body 1 or on the reverse side edge 2A of the opening part 2, and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B is detachably attached, there are the advantages that the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B can be attached or detached easily as the need arises, and the intended advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B manufactured in a process different from the printing process of the envelope body 1 can be selectively attached.

In this case, there is an advantage that the adhesion parts 3E, 2B work to attach or detach the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, and to later attach and fix the flap 3 upon sealing the envelope body 1.

Both the flap 3 and the edge of reverse side 2A of the opening part 2 may have the perforated line 4 or have the adhesion parts 3E, 2B, or one of the flap 3 and the edge of reverse side 2A may adopt either one of the two means and the other may adopt the other means.

When the flap 3 and the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B are formed to be narrower than the opening part 2, and are structured to be folded, they are, including the flap 3, inserted into the envelope upon storing cash. By doing so, the whole flap formed to be large by including the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B increases friction resistance against the bills, whereby slipping out of the cash is sufficiently prevented. When the envelope is used as an envelope for a letter of a postal service or the like, the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B is folded to overlap the flap 3 and the envelope is sealed, whereby the envelope may be used for the letter without the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B being exposed.

When the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B are formed to be easily detachable at the perforated line 4 and the envelope is used for a letter for the postal purpose, the envelope may be used as an ordinary envelope having no advertisement or the like. Both of obverse and reverse sides of the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B may be utilized, when necessary.

It is preferable that at least one advertisement indicating piece 3A or advertising coupon 3B is continuously provided further on the upper part of the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B by the intermediary of the perforated line 4.

By doing so, one envelope may have different kinds of advertisements (different sponsors or different commercial products), or a plurality of different kinds of coupons or same kind of coupons, which may be detached and used one by one.

A calendar may also be printed on the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, whereby the envelope may be used as a calendar and an expiration date of advertisement information or the like becomes clear and can be readily checked.

By providing a posting part 3C on the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B, there is an advantage that the envelope can be pinned to a notice board at the posting part 3C (a blank space, etc.), or can be attached to a notice board, a wall face of a refrigerator, etc. using a small magnet so that the envelope may be used as a memo pad or for storing receipts or the like without covering information on the advertisement indicating piece 3A or the advertising coupon 3B.

The foregoing relates to preferred exemplary embodiments of the invention, it being understood that other variants and embodiments thereof are possible within the spirit and scope of the invention, the latter being defined by the appended claims.
