Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a restraining structure for a pressure regulator of a paint ball gun, in particular to a restrainer to confine over adjustment of a regulating bolt provided in a lower chamber, preventing other parts from being damaged due to over pressure.

2. Description of the Prior Art

A conventional pressure regulator of a paint ball gun, as disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 7,045,726 (incorporated herein in its entirety), utilizes a switch bolt to control a valve for air to flow therein.

If the adjustment of the switch bolt is too much, other parts in the regulator will be damaged due to over pressure.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is the primary objective of the present invention to provide a restraining structure for a pressure regulator of a paint ball gun, which comprises a cylinder and a restrainer. The restrainer is a C-shaped snap. The cylinder comprises a lower chamber. The lower chamber has an inner wall and an opening. The inner wall close to the opening is provided with a groove adapted to receive the restrainer therein. The restrainer is to confine a regulating bolt from over movement, preventing other parts from being damaged due to over pressure.

It is another objective of the present invention to provide a restraining structure for a pressure regulator of a paint ball gun, which has a lower malfunction rate.

It is a further objective of the present invention to provide a restraining structure for a pressure regulator of a paint ball gun, which is easy to maintain and is cost-effective.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a cross sectional view of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a view similar to FIG. 1, showing the adjustment of a regulating bolt of the present invention; and

FIG. 3 is a cross sectional view of the present invention applied to a paint ball gun.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

As shown in FIG. 1, a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a cylinder 1 and a restrainer 2. The cylinder 1 comprises a lower chamber 11. The chamber 11 has an inner wall 111 and an opening 112. A groove 113 is provided at the inner wall 111 close to the opening 112. The restrainer 2 is a C-shaped snap and is disposed in the groove 113 to confine a regulating bolt 3.

As shown in FIG. 2, when the regulating bolt 3 is turned for providing high-pressure air, the restrainer 2 is to confine over adjustment of the regulating bolt 3 located in the lower chamber 11, preventing any other parts from being damaged due to over pressure.

As shown in FIG. 3, the present invention is applied to a paint ball gun. The restrainer 2 is disposed in the cylinder 1 to confine over adjustment of the regulating bolt 3. The present invention may be applied to a regulating bolt of other high-pressure air equipment.

Claims
