HANDLE STRUCTURE
The invention provides a handle structure for a user to carry/drag an object. Furthermore, the object has a cavity on a surface thereof for accommodating the handle structure. In addition, the handle structure includes a first base, a second base, a first supporting portion, a second supporting portion, and a handle portion. When the user carries/drags the object through the handle structure, the first supporting portion, the second supporting portion, and the handle portion are capable of rotating with respect to the object; furthermore, the handle portion is capable of rotating with respect to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention is related to a carrying device for an object and, more particularly, to a handle structure of an object.
2. Description of the Prior Art
Handles of objects nowadays can be mainly sorted into plate-form handle and 3D handle. Moreover, most of the handles are designed to rotate with respect to the objects, so as to be convenient for a user to carry the object with the handle.
Additionally, the plate-form handle can fit more perfectly on the surface of an object, so the handle will not stick out when the objects are stacked up. However, the plate-form handle is relatively incompliant with ergonomics; therefore, it may cause discomfort or even hand injury when a user carries the object for a long time.
On the other hand, the 3D handle is relatively more compliant with ergonomics; therefore, it is more comfortable for a user to carry the object. However, the volume of the 3D handle is larger, causing the handle to often protrude from the surface of the object and further affecting the stacking up of a plurality of the objects.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONAccordingly, a scope of the invention is to provide a handle structure of an object, so as to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art described above.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the handle structure is applied for a user to carry/drag an object which has a cavity on the surface thereof for accommodating the handle structure.
In addition, the handle structure includes a first base, a second base, a first supporting portion, a second supporting portion, and a handle portion. The first base has a first basic portion and a first shaft, and the first basic portion is capable of mounting the handle structure on the bottom surface of the cavity, whereas the second base has a second basic portion and a second shaft, and the second basic portion is capable of mounting the handle structure on the bottom surface of the cavity.
Furthermore, the first supporting portion has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end; the first end further has a first spindle bore, and the second end is rotatably jointed to the first shaft, whereas the second supporting portion has a third end and a fourth end opposite to the third end; the third end has a second spindle bore, and the fourth end is rotatably jointed to the second shaft.
Moreover, the handle portion has a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to the fifth end; the fifth end further has a first axle rotatably jointed to the first spindle bore, and the sixth end further has a second axle rotatably jointed to the second spindle bore.
When the user carry/drag the object with the handle structure of the invention, the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion are capable of rotating with respect to the object, and the handle portion is capable of rotating with respect to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion. Additionally, when the handle structure is not used, the handle structure is capable of completely fitting within the cavity without protruding out of the surface of the object.
Therefore, the handle structure complies with ergonomics and allows users to carry/drag objects more comfortably. Moreover, the handle structure of the invention can be completely fitted within the cavity; therefore, it will not affect stacking of the objects.
The scope of the present invention will no doubt become obvious to those of ordinary skill in the art after reading the following detailed description of the preferred embodiment, which is illustrated in the various figures and drawings.
The present invention provides a handle structure. The preferred embodiments are disclosed as below.
The handle structure, according to the invention, is provided for a user to carry/drag an object, such as a box, a trunk, a barrel, or a cabinet. Moreover, the object can have a cavity on a surface thereof to accommodate the handle structure. The handle structure can also be disposed directly on a surface of the object which does not have a cavity.

The first base 11 has a first basic portion 113 and a first shaft 115; the first basic portion 113 is used to mount the handle structure 1 on a bottom surface of the cavity or on a surface of the object. Moreover, the second base 13 has a second basic portion 133 and a second shaft 135; the second basic portion 133 is applied to mount the handle structure 1 on the bottom surface of the cavity or on a surface of the object.
Practically, the handle structure can be made of plastic material or other suitable material. Additionally, in practice, the first base and the second base can be mounted on the bottom surface of the cavity respectively by an adhesive material, a screw, or other suitable material. Moreover, the distance between the first base and a center of gravity of the object is substantially equal to the distance between the second base and the center of gravity of the object.
Furthermore, the first supporting portion 15 has a first end and a second end opposite to the first end; the first end further has a first spindle bore 151, and the second end is rotatably jointed to the first shaft 115. In the embodiment, the second end has a first clasp portion 153. Additionally, the first clasp portion 153 has a breach with a width smaller than the diameter of the first shaft 115. Therefore, the first shaft 115 can be clasped by the first clasp portion 153 by forcing the first supporting portion 15 along the direction from the first end to the second end, and the first supporting portion 15 can rotate around with the first shaft 115 as an axis.
In addition, the second supporting portion 17 has a third end and a fourth end opposite to the third end; the third end further has a second spindle bore 171, and the fourth end is rotatably jointed to the second shaft 135. In the embodiment, the fourth end has a second clasp portion 173. Moreover, the second clasp portion 173 has a breach with a width smaller than the diameter of the second shaft 135. Therefore, the second shaft 135 can be clasped by the second clasp portion 173 by forcing the second supporting portion 17 along the direction from the third end to the fourth end, and the second supporting portion 17 can rotate around with the second shaft 135 as an axis.
Moreover, the handle portion 19 has a fifth end and a sixth end opposite to the fifth end; the fifth end further has a first axle 191 rotatably jointed to the first spindle bore 151, whereas the sixth end further has a second axle 193 rotatably jointed to the second spindle bore 171.
In the embodiment, the handle structure 1 further includes a first fixing plug 12 and a second fixing plug 14. The first fixing plug 12 is passed through the first spindle bore 151 of the first supporting portion 15 for fixing the first axle 191 of the handle portion 19 in the first spindle bore 151. Additionally, the second fixing plug 14 is passed through the second spindle bore 171 of the second supporting portion 17 for fixing the second axle 193 of the handle portion 19 on the second spindle bore 171.

Claims
1. A handle structure for a user to carry/drag an object which has a cavity on a surface thereof for accommodating the handle structure, the handle structure comprising: wherein the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion are capable of rotating with respect to the object, and the handle portion being capable of rotating with respect to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion; wherein when the handle structure is not used, the handle structure being capable of fitting within the cavity without protruding out of the surface of the object.
- a first base, having a first basic portion and a first shaft, the first basic portion being capable of mounting the handle structure on a bottom surface of the cavity;
- a second base, having a second basic portion and a second shaft, the second basic portion being capable of mounting the handle structure on the bottom surface of the cavity;
- a first supporting portion, having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, the first end having a first spindle bore, and the second end being rotatably jointed to the first shaft;
- a second supporting portion, having a third end and a fourth end opposite to the third end, the third end having a second spindle bore, and the fourth end being rotatably jointed to the second shaft; and
- a handle portion, having a fifth end and an sixth end opposite to the fifth end, the fifth end having a first axle rotatably jointed to the first spindle bore, and the sixth end having a second axle rotatably jointed to the second spindle bore;
2. The handle structure of claim 1, further comprising:
- a first fixing plug, passing through the first spindle bore of the first supporting portion, for fixing the first axle of the handle portion in the first spindle bore; and
- a second fixing plug, passing through the second spindle bore of the second supporting portion, for fixing the second axle of the handle portion on the second spindle bore.

The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the second end of the first supporting portion has a first clasp portion and the fourth end of the second supporting portion has a second clasp portion, the first supporting portion clasping the first shaft by the first clasp portion, and the second supporting portion clasping the second shaft by the second clasp portion.
4. The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the first base and the second base are mounted on the first surface respectively by an adhesive material.
5. The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the first base and the second base are mounted on the first surface respectively by at least one screw.
6. The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the handle structure is made of plastic material.
7. The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the distance between the first base and a center of gravity of the object is substantially equal to the distance between the second base and the center of gravity of the object.
8. The handle structure of claim 1, wherein the object is one selected from the group consisting of: a box, a trunk, a barrel, and a cabinet.
9. A handle structure for a user to carry/drag an object, the handle structure comprising: wherein when the user carries/drags the object with the handle structure, the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion are capable of rotating suitably with respect to the object, and the handle portion is capable of rotating suitably with respect to the first supporting portion and the second supporting portion.
- a first base, having a first basic portion and a first shaft, the first basic portion being used to mount the handle structure on a first surface of the object;
- a second base, having a second basic portion and a second shaft, the second basic portion being used to mount the handle structure on the first surface of the object;
- a first supporting portion, having a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, the first end having a first spindle bore, and the second end being rotatably jointed to the first shaft;
- a second supporting portion, having a third end and a fourth end opposite to the third end, the third end having a second spindle bore, and the fourth end being rotatably jointed to the second shaft; and
- a handle portion, having a fifth end and an sixth end opposite to the fifth end, the fifth end having a first axle rotatably jointed to the first spindle bore, and the sixth end having a second axle rotatably jointed to the second spindle bore;
10. The handle structure of claim 9, further comprising;
- a first fixing plug, passing through the first spindle bore of the first supporting portion, for fixing the first axle of the handle portion; and
- a second fixing plug, passing through the second spindle bore of the second supporting portion, for fixing the second axle of the handle portion.

The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the second end of the first supporting portion has a first clasp portion, and the fourth end of the second supporting portion has a second clasp portion, the first supporting portion clasping the first shaft by the first clasp portion, and the second supporting portion clasping the second shaft by the second clasp portion.
12. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the first surface of the object is a bottom surface of a cavity, and the cavity being located on a second surface of the object, wherein when the handle structure is not used, the handle structure being capable of fitting within the cavity without protruding out of the second surface of the object.
13. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the first base and the second base are mounted on the first surface respectively by an adhesive material.
14. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the first base and the second base are mounted on the first surface respectively by at least one screw.
15. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the handle structure is made of plastic material.
16. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the distance between the first base and a center of gravity of the object is substantially equal to the distance between the second base and the center of gravity of the object.
17. The handle structure of claim 9, wherein the object is one selected from the group consisting of: a box, a trunk, a barrel, and a cabinet.
