Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

My invention pertains to Baseball fans which when attending games currently have the option to bring and wear a regular baseball glove for protection and the chance to catch a home run or foul ball depending on where they are sitting. These gloves are large and bulky and do not easily allow the fans to wear the glove and enjoy food and beverages.

Information currently available to me are all the current baseball gloves which are large and bulky and other padded gloves which are not designed specifically for the baseball fan which would protect their hands when reaching for a home run or foul ball and at the same time allow them to easily enjoy the food and beverages.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The new use invention of the Protective Glove for Baseball Fans uses current hand glove designs (both full hand and half finger), designed with padding on the inside of the glove specifically for the protection of the hand when catching a baseball. With this new design a baseball fan wearing this protective glove has a better chance of catching the ball and while still wearing the glove would be able to enjoy food and beverages.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

FIG. 1A. Depicts a warm weather half finger glove for the protection of catching a baseball.

FIG. 1B. Depicts a cold weather full glove for the protection of catching a baseball.

FIG. 2A. Depicts a mild to cold weather half finger glove for the protection of catching a baseball.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

This new use invention of a Protective Glove for Baseball Fans make use of current hand glove designs designed specifically with padding on the inside of the glove and extra padding in the ball of the hand where the brunt force of the ball would be applied when reaching for and catching a baseball. This design does not make use of any type of webbing for catching the ball therefore the extra padding at the ball of the hand for the support and protection of the hand where the ball could cause the most pain when catching a ball. The design of the new use protective glove would make use of two types of gloves, one full hand glove for cold weather games or environments and the second, a half finger glove for warm weather games or environments. These gloves can use regular cloth type material for cold weather games or environments, or they can make use of spandex material for warm weather games or environments. The padding material would be made of leather padding or could make use of any type of synthetics material that may provide better protection than leather.
