Toolbox with covers covering upon an outer surface of the box body

A toolbox comprises a box body having a receiving portion; and at least one cover for covering a part of an outer surface of the box body; the covers being made of leathers or PU material. The cover is fixed to the box body by thermal setting or by screwing. Preferably, the cover is fixed to bending corners of the box body. When the box body is placed on a ground and is pulled, the covers protrude from surface of the box body, so that the surface of the box body will not be in contact with the ground and the wearing of the box body is reduced and the lifetime of the box body is prolonged.

Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to toolbox, and particularly to a toolbox with covers covering upon an outer surface of the box body, wherein when the box body is placed on a ground and is pulled, the covers protrude from surface of the box body, so that the surface of the box body will not be in contact with the ground so that the wearing of the box body is reduced and the lifetime of the box body is prolonged.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, more and more tools are used in working. Thus toolboxes are developed for receiving a plurality of tools in a box for carrying and storing easily and conveniently.

However, the toolbox is frequently carried in various places and locations and is moved frequently. Thus the workers frequently place the toolboxes with careless action. As a result, the toolbox will collide ground or other objects and thus it is destroyed or worn and thus the lifetime of the toolbox is reduced.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a toolbox with covers covering upon an outer surface of the box body, wherein when the box body is placed on a ground and is pulled, the covers protrude from surface of the box body, so that the surface of the box body will not be in contact with the ground so that the wearing of the box body is reduced and the lifetime of the box body is prolonged.

To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a toolbox which comprises a box body having a receiving portion; and at least one cover for covering a part of an outer surface of the box body; the covers being made of leathers or PU material. The cover is fixed to the box body by thermal setting or by screwing. Preferably, the cover is fixed to bending corners of the box body.

The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the toolbox of the present invention.

FIG. 2 is a schematic view of the toolbox of the present invention.

FIGS. 3 and 4 shows the application of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

Referring to FIG. 1, the toolbox I of the present invention is illustrated. The present invention has the following elements.

A box body 11 has a first cover 111 and a second cover 112. The first cover 111 and second cover 112 are pivotally installed to a pivotal shaft (not shown) so that the first cover 111 is openable with respective to the second cover 112. The side of second cover 112 far away from the pivotal side thereof has at least one buckle 13 (in FIG. 1, there are two buckles 13 being illustrated) so that the first cover 111 can be buckled to the second cover 112. The box body 11 has a handle 14 and a receiving portion 15 therein for receiving various objects. An outer side of the body 1 is formed with a plurality of planes 113 and a plurality of corners 114.

An outer side of the box body 11 has a plurality of covers 12. The cover 12 is made of PU (Polyurethane) or leather. The covers 12 are fixed to the box body 11 by thermal plastics setting or screwing so as to protect the box body 11 from collision as the box body 11 falls to the ground or contact with other object. The covers 12 can absorb the impact force in collision.

It is preferable that in the present invention, the covers 12 encloses the bending corners of the box body 11. As shown in FIG. 2, other than providing a beautiful outlook, the covers 12 have the effect of protecting the box body 11 from collision and the effect of reduction of impact force. Furthermore the covers 12 have coarse surfaces so as to reduce the friction force.

Referring to FIG. 3, when the box body 11 is placed on a ground and is pulled, the covers 12 protrude from surface of the box body 11, so that the surface of the box body 11 will not be in contact with the ground so that the wearing of the box body 11 is reduced and the lifetime of the box body 11 is prolonged.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
