Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Need for the Invention

Unlike other goods, a tank or cylinder filled with gas or most of liquid substances can not be transported in the trunk of a vehicle as it is forbidden in most cities to transport such a tank or cylinder in a trunk of a vehicle. Therefore, these tanks or cylinders are transported mostly by placing them inside a vehicle on the floor between passenger seats. This situation often causes damages to inside structure, texture, carpets or seats as the tank or cylinder moves, vibrates and shakes during the driving of a vehicle. Furthermore, and most importantly, the transporting of a tank or cylinder in this way may cause a gas leak or liquid leak inside a car if the vehicle unfortunately suffers an accident and the tank or cylinder hits solid frames around it, loosening the gas/liquid nozzle or cap from the impact of the accident.

2. Field of the Invention

The invention here pertains to a product which is used for transporting tanks or cylinders filled with gas or liquid substances in a vehicle. More precisely, the invention relates to a “transportation bag” which is invented to transport safely tanks or cylinders filled with gas or liquid substances inside a vehicle on a passenger seat; since it is forbidden in most cities to carry such a tanks or cylinders in the trunk of a vehicle. The transportation bag is made with light weight nylon or polypropylene which provides a strong and durable material to hold the tank or cylinder firm inside a vehicle on a passenger seat. The bag is designed in a cylinder shape to precisely accommodate and firmly hold the tank or cylinder inside the bag, covering whole surface of the tank or cylinder except handles which are left open and visible for carrying purposes. This transportation bag can contain tanks or cylinders used for various purposes such as Barbecue gas tank or cylinder, Propane gas tank or cylinder, Flammable gas tank or cylinder, Liquid gas tank or cylinder, Natural gas tank or cylinder, Oxygen tank or cylinder, Fire Extinguisher cylinder, water tank etc.

The transportation bag is equipped with straps, drawstring and non-skid bottom. The three straps in the middle of the bag are provided to hold the bag firmly with a vehicle seat by using a seat belt. These straps provide a means for seat belt to go around the tank or cylinder and to prohibit the tank or cylinder from sliding, moving or rolling on a vehicle seat.

There is a drawstring at the top of the bag to tighten the bag to the tank or cylinder thereby providing a firm and stable base for straps used by the seat belt to hold the tank or cylinder firm on a passenger seat.

The bottom of the bag is equipped with a thin piece of plastic attached to a non-skid fabric to prevent the tank or cylinder from slipping or sliding and to avoid scratches or scarring to a vehicle seat.

The drawstring at the top of the bag is made in a way that it leaves the handles open and visible. This visibility is provided so that handles can be used to carry the tank or cylinder inside the vehicle. This feature is created to prohibit users from using the drawstring or any other parts of the bag as a carrying means which can be dangerous and cause injury to the person carrying it.

From the above description it can be seen that the present invention provides a safe and secure means to transport a tank or cylinder filled with gas or liquid substances inside a vehicle.
