Combination travel bag
A combination travel bag having a cloth body, a top frame and a bottom frame and two rectangular side open frames respectively fastened to the openings on the top, bottom and two opposite lateral sides of said cloth body, two side panels respectively covered with a covering and respectively fastened to said rectangular side open frames, and two decoration strips respectively fastened to said rectangular side open frames around the covering at each of said side panels.
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a travel bag and more particularly, to a lightweight combination travel bag.
2. Description of the Related Art
This structure of travel bag has drawbacks as follows:
1. The rectangular plastic open frame 11 is not collapsible and requires much storage space. In factory, much storage space shall be spared for inventory control.
2. The rectangular plastic open frame 11 has only the four peripheral sides to resist impact, and the corner area around the open back side tends to be deformed or damaged accidentally, i.e., the travel bag has low impact resisting power.
3. The rectangular plastic open frame 11 has a big dimension, and the whole structure of the travel bag is heavy, not highly mobile.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a combination travel bag, which can easily be assembled with parts that are separately stored in inventory.
According to the present invention, the combination travel bag comprises a cloth body, a top frame and a bottom frame and two rectangular side open frames respectively fastened to the openings on the top, bottom and two opposite lateral sides of said cloth body, two side panels respectively covered with a covering and respectively fastened to said rectangular side open frames, and two decoration strips respectively fastened to said rectangular side open frames around the covering at each of said side panels.
Referring to
The side panels 24 are respectively molded from foam material or ethylene vinyl acetate for the advantage of light in weight. The covering 25 is directly adhered to the associating side panel 24. The rectangular side open frames 21 can be directly molded from plastics in integrity. Alternatively, each rectangular side open frame 21 can be formed of two substantially -shaped frame parts.
Referring to
As indicated above, the invention has the following advantages:
1. In inventory, parts for combination travel bag are classified and separately stored before assembly, thereby saving much storage and packing space, convenient for delivery.
2. The top frame 22, the bottom frame 23 the two rectangular side open frames 21 form the framework of the combination travel bag, providing a high strength.
3. The rectangular side open frames 21 are open frames, reducing the weight of the combination travel bag.
4. The decoration strips 26 seal the gap around the side open frames 21 and cause a linear sense of beauty.
Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
