DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

With reference to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, a collapsible cabinet in accordance with the present invention comprises a body (10), two doors (20), a cover (30) and a bottom member (40) and may have multiple baffle members (50). The body (10) comprises two inner panels (11), two inner posts (12), two outer panels (13) and two outer posts (14). Each inner panel (11) has an inner side and an outer side. The inner side of one of the inner panels (11) is hinged to the inner side of the other inner panel (11).

Each inner post (12) has an inner side, an outer side and a lower end and may have a foot (121). The inner side of the inner post (12) is hinged to the outer side of one of the inner panels (11). The foot (121) is mounted on the lower end of the inner post (12).

Each outer panel (13) has an inner side, an outer side, an upper end and a lower end and may have multiple nut holes (131), multiple pin holes (132) and a supporting rib (133). The inner side of the outer panel (13) is hinged to the outer side of one of the inner posts (12). The nut holes (131) are defined in the outer panel (13). The pin holes (132) are defined through the upper end of the outer panel (13). The supporting rib (133) is mounted on the lower end of the outer panel (13).

Each outer post (14) has an inner side, an outer side, a lower end and may have at least one hinge leaf (141), at least one hinge pin (142), a foot (143), a receiving groove (144) and a hanging holder (145). The inner side of the outer post (14) is attached to the outer side of one of the outer panels (13). The at least one hinge leaf (141) is mounted on the outer side of the outer post (14). The at least one hinge pin (142) corresponds to and is mounted on the at least one hinge leaf (141). The foot (143) is mounted on the lower end of the outer post (14). The receiving groove (144) is defined in the lower end of the outer post (14). The hanging holder (145) is mounted in the receiving groove (144).

Because all panels (11, 13) and posts (12, 14) of the body (10) are hinged to each other, the body (10) can be folded and volume of the folded body (10) is reduced. When the inner panels (11) of the body (10) are expanded and the outer panels (13) of the body (10) are pivoted perpendicularly relative to the inner panels (11), a receiving space is defined in the body for storing articles.

With further reference to FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, each door (20) is hinged detachably to one of the outer posts (14) of the body (10) and may comprise a connecting post (21) and a door board (22). Each connecting post (21) has an inner side, an outer side, at least one hinge leaf (211) and at least one pin holder (212). The inner side of the connecting post (21) is hinged detachably to the outer side of one of the outer posts (14) of the body (10). The at least one hinge leaf (211) is mounted on the inner side of the connecting post (21) and corresponds to the at least one hinge leaf (141) on the outer side of one of the outer posts (14). The at least one pin holder (212) corresponds and is attached to the at least one hinge leaf (211) of the connecting post (21) and is engaged with the at least one hinge pin (142) of one of the outer posts (14).

The door board (22) has an inner side. The inner side of each door board (22) is hinged to the outer side of the connecting post (21).

Because each door (20) is hinged detachably to one of the outer posts (14) of the body (10), the door can be assembled and detached easily from the body without using tools. Labor cost and assembling time of the collapsible cabinet can also be reduced.

The cover (30) is mounted detachably on the body (10) to prevent dust or other external objects from entering the collapsible cabinet and has a bottom surface, two ridges (31) and multiple pins (32). The ridges (31) are formed on the bottom surface of the cover (30), corresponds respectively to the upper ends of the outer panels (13) and each ridge has multiple pin holes (311). The pin holes (311) are defined through the ridge (31) and aligned respectively with the pin holes (132) in the upper end of the corresponding outer panel (13). The pins (32) are mounted respectively in the pin holes (311, 132) in the ridges (31) on the cover (30) and the upper ends of the outer panels (13).

With further reference to FIG. 7, the bottom member (40) is mounted detachably in the collapsible cabinet upon the feet (121, 143) of the body (10) to support articles and comprises a connecting bar (41) and a bottom board (42). The connecting bar (41) is mounted detachably between the lower ends of the outer posts (14) and has two ends, a supporting rib (411) and two mounting holders (412). The supporting rib (411) is mounted on the connecting bar (41), corresponds to the supporting ribs (133) on the lower ends of the outer panels (13) and faces the inner panels (11). The mounting holders (412) are connected respectively to the ends of the connecting bar (41) and respectively correspond to and are mounted in the hanging holders (145) in the lower ends of the outer posts (14). The bottom board (42) is mounted on the supporting ribs (133, 411) on the lower ends of the outer panels (13) and the connecting bar (41).

With further reference to FIGS. 8 and 9, the baffle members (50) are mounted in the body (10) to support articles stored in the cabinet and each baffle member (50) comprises a baffle (51), multiple pin members (52) and multiple nut (53). The baffle (51) has two ends and each end of the baffle (51) is mounted detachably on one of the outer panels (13). Each pin member (52) is mounted in one of the ends of the baffle (51) and comprises a base (521) and a rotating pin (522). The base (521) is mounted in the end of the baffle (51). The rotating pin (522) is mounted rotatably in the base (521) and has a protruding end, a lever (523) and a tab (524). The protruding end of the rotating pin (522) protrudes from the base (521) and is protrudent relative to the end of the baffle (51). The lever (523) is mounted on the rotating pin (522) to rotate the rotating pin (522). The tab (524) is formed on the protruding end of the rotating pin (522). Each nut (53) is mounted in one of the nut holes (131) in the outer panels (13) and has an inner wall and a flange (531). The flange (531) is formed on the inner wall of the nut (53) and corresponds to the tab (524) on the rotating pin (522). After the tab (524) on the rotating pin (522) of one of the pin members (52) is inserted into a corresponding nut (53) and extends through the flange (531) of the nut (53), the rotating pin (522) is rotated to prevent the tab (524) from escaping from the nut (53).

After the collapsible cabinet is detached, the body (10) can be folded to a flat condition and be packed with other components. So the volume of collapsible cabinet is small and transporting and storing space and cost of the detached collapsible cabinet are lowered.

Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
