Enclosed poker card cover

Abstract

An enclosed container that is used as a card cover while playing any game of poker. The container is preferable in cylindrical form. The card cover is enclosed and has a see-through cover. Objects are permanently enclosed in the card cover. Objects inside the card cover can be shaken. The type and size of the objects are only limited by the size of the Enclosed Poker Card Cover.

Description

BACKGROUND

While playing poker a player is dealt cards. During each round of play it is the player's obligation to protect his cards from being removed by the dealer, this is known as having your cards “mucked”. The most common way to protect a poker hand is to place a casino chip on top of the cards after they are placed back down on the table. Other items have been specifically designed to serve this purpose and they are known as “Card Covers”. Specialty made chips, coins, figurines and other objects are currently used.

SUMMARY

The Enclosed Poker Card Cover consists of an enclosed housing with one side made with a see-through material.

The Enclosed Poker Card Cover is designed to hold small objects, i.e. coins, dice (die), small figurines, etc. These objects would be inserted permanently during manufacturing. Once the object(s) are enclosed they cannot be removed. The object would be small enough to be shaken inside the invention.

The utility of the invention is to cover (protect) the player's cards during a poker game. The invention also has an enclosed area, which is visible when looked through one end. The diameter of the Enclosed Poker Card Cover is no bigger than the width of a standard deck of playing cards.

DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

The preferable construction method would be a cylinder that is enclosed on both ends. One end is solid (opaque) and the other end is made of a transparent material, i.e. plastic, Plexiglas, acrylic or glass.

FIG. 1 shows a front view with the transparent side facing down. The enclosed end is denoted by the marking “A”.

FIG. 2 shows a front view with the invention flipped over showing the transparent side as denoted by marking “B”.

FIG. 3 shows the invention on its side. “B” notes the transparent material and “C” shows the inside of the invention where a small object would be enclosed.
