Skidproof structure for container

-

A skidproof structure for containers includes at least one slot disposed on bottom of a container and at least one skidproof member whose shape corresponds to shape of the slot mounted into the slot. A plurality of separated projecting parts with the same height is integrated with the lower surface of the skidproof member that contacts with table surface. Thus the skidproof member contacts the table surface by the projecting parts so as to reduce contact area and adhesion force between the skidproof member and the table surface.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a skidproof structure for containers, especially to an integrated skidproof member having a plurality projecting parts with the same height on lower surface thereof that contacts a table surface. Thus the skidproof member achieves good skidproof effect yet won't attach on the table surface.

Containers such as bowls, cups, dishes, pots or barrels are essentials for daily lives. There are various shapes and sizes of containers. In accordance with different uses, containers are made from different materials including plastic, resin such as melamine with good thermal stability and luster, clay, ceramic, or metal such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy. In order to make the containers set stably on a flat and smooth plane such as glass surface without sliding freely, at least one slot is disposed on bottom of the container. There is no limit on number and shape of the slot. It can be a ring, a strip or a piece. Then a skidproof member with shape corresponding to the slot is mounted inside the slot. The skidproof member is made from skidproof material such as plastic, rubber or silicon and is extruding outwards the slot, contacting with the table surface. However, conventional skidproof member contacts the table by a plane so that when it receives the weight of the containers (utensils) and presses on the table, it attaches the table surface tightly. Thus adhesion force between the contact area of the container and the table surface is increased. This brings users trouble because it's difficult to pick up the container. Once users pick up the container with a larger force, the container may turn over and things therein are pouring out. The skidproof member may even separate with the container or the table is damaged. Therefore, there is still a space for improvement of the skidproof member.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Therefore it is a primary object of the present invention to provide a skidproof structure for containers that consists of at least one slot on bottom of the container while a skidproof member in shape corresponding to shape of the slot is mounted inside the slot. Moreover, a plurality of integrated projecting parts with the same height, separated with one another, is disposed on lower surface of the skidproof member. Thus the bottom of the container contacts with the table by the projecting parts so that contact area and adhesion force between the skidproof member and the table surface are reduced. Therefore, the skidproof member not only has skidproof effect but also prevents attachment of the container on the table surface.

It is another object of the present invention to provide a skidproof structure for containers that includes projecting parts. The number, shape and interval of the projecting parts are not limited. The shape of the projecting parts can be a curved surface or a semispheric semispheric. The projecting parts are uniformly distributed over the skidproof member so that the container is put on the table stably by the projecting parts.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFFERED EMBODIMENT

Refer from FIG. 1 to FIG. 5, a container (or utensil) 1 according to the present invention includes bowls, cups, dishes, pots or barrels. There is no limitation on material of the container 1, it can be plastic, resin, ceramic, metal or combinations of above materials while melamine with good thermal stability and luster is preferable. Moreover, there is not limitation on appearance of the container 1 or shape of the bottom 10. For example, the container 1 may have a round opening and a round bottom, as shown in FIG. 1, or have an oval opening, a rectangular opening in combination with a rectangular bottom, as shown in FIG. 6. The openings and the bottom can be irregular shapes. In order to offer ideal skidproof protection while being put on the table, at least a slot 11 is arranged on the bottom 10 of the container 1 while there is no limitation on the shape and number of the slot 11. It can be circular, as shown in FIG. 2, FIG. 7 & FIG. 11, like a bar, as shown in FIG. 9 & FIG. 10, or sheety, as shown in FIG. 8. Then a skidproof member 2 with corresponding shape is mounted into the slot 11. For example, a skidproof ring in FIG. 2, FIG. 7 & FIG. 11, a straight skidproof bar in FIG. 9, a L-shaped skidproof bar in FIG. 10, or a skidproof sheet in FIG. 8. The lower surface of the skidproof member 2 projects outwards the opening of the slot 11 for contact with the table surface 3 so as to achieve anti-skid effect.

The present invention features on that a plurality of separated projecting parts 21 with the same height is integrated with the lower surface 20 of the skidproof member 2 that contacts with the table surface 3. Thus by the contact between the separated projecting parts 21 and the table surface 3, the container 1 is set on the table steadily. Moreover, the contact area and adhesion force between the skidproof member 2 and the table surface 3 are reduced so as to avoid that the container 1 attaches to the table and difficult to pick up. Therefore, the skidproof member 2 not only has anti-skid effect but also prevents attachment of the container on the table surface 3.

Material of the skidproof member 2 is not limited. Generally, silicon or similar material is used and made by integration. Cross section of the skidproof member 2 can be round or rectangular with arched corners. Furthermore, there is no limitation on number and interval of the projecting parts 21 while uniform distribution of the projecting part 21 is preferred so as to improve stability of the container 1 on the table surface 3. Moreover, shape of projecting ends 22 of the projecting parts 21 is not limited. It can be curved or semispheric surface, as shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 12, FIG. 13, FIG. 14, or a smooth surface, as shown in FIG. 5.

In addition, the projecting parts 21 is integrated into the lower surface 20 of the skidproof member 2. While manufacturing, the old mold of the skidproof member 2 is modified by adding a plurality of slots with shape corresponding to the projecting part 21 on the lower surface 20 thereof. Then the skidproof member 2 of the present invention is produced according to conventional manufacturing processes. Thus the present invention has no influence on appearance of the container 1 and the design of the circular slot 11 on the bottom 10. Besides, manufacturing and assembling of the skidproof members are not affected.

Additional advantages and modifications will readily occur to those skilled in the art. Therefore, the invention in its broader aspects is not limited to the specific details, and representative devices shown and described herein. Accordingly, various modifications may be made without departing from the spirit or scope of the general inventive concept as defined by the appended claims and their equivalents.
