See Through Umbrella "STU"
Garden and beach umbrella, usually used for protection from sun, as we need to cover a relatively large area to be used by several persons the umbrella should be large enough to achieve this task, therefore the intensive wind currents usually have bad effects on the stability of this kind of umbrellas due to its relatively large covering area. Creating gaps or holes through the umbrellas surface can reduce or minimize the bad effects of the wind against the umbrella while it still capable to protect users against direct sun. The present invention relates to a “See Through Umbrella”, which is an umbrella with a surface consists of several concentric polygons of fabric stripes of well designed width and fixed distance separating each adjacent two stripes to allow wind currents to pass through the surface easily leading to high degree of stability against blowing wind. This kind of umbrellas can be of two main different patterns either completely (as in FIG. 1) or partially (as in FIGS. 2a and 2b) covered with fabric stripes.
The present invention relates to a “See Through Umbrella”, which is a garden and beach umbrella with a new designed surface consists of several concentric polygons of fabric stripes of well designed width (vertical depth) and fixed distance separating each adjacent two stripes to allow wind currents to pass through the umbrella's surface easily leading to high degree of stability against blowing wind.

The fabric stripes are fixed to a number of ribs by means of fixing and tensioning units, as in FIG. (4).
The fabric stripes cover of the umbrella is capable to obstruct the direct sun ray wherever and whenever the sun is slightly inclined of the summit.

In order to overcome of the bad wind effects against the umbrella, it has been provided with a new designed surface which consists of several concentric polygons of fabric stripes of well designed width (vertical depth) and fixed distance separating each adjacent two stripes to allow wind currents to pass through the surface easily leading to high degree of stability against blowing wind which means reducing or minimizing the bad effects of the wind against the umbrella while it still capable to protect things against direct sun ray.

1. “See Through Umbrella” is an umbrella of a surface consists (completely or partially) of concentric polygons of fabric stripes mounted perpendicularly to the umbrella's ribs.
2. The fabric stripes are fixed to the ribs of the umbrella by a special fixing and tensioning units which ensure straight tensioned portions of the fabric stripes in between each two units during the open mode.
