Show stand

A show stand is disclosed. The show stand comprises at least a main board, a set of display parts and a set of securing elements. The main board comprises a plurality of slots. Each display parts comprises a plurality of tongues and each tongue has a securing slot, wherein the tongues of said set of display parts can be inserted into the corresponding slots from a display side of said main board such the tongues protrude out of an assembling side of the main board opposite to the display side thereof. The securing elements are adapted for removably inserting into the securing slots of the tongues protruding out of the assembly side of the main board to securely assemble the display parts on the main board.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a show stand, and more particularly to a show stand that can be easily constructed using various assembly parts, and which can be constructed in various size and shape.

2. Description of the Related Art

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a conventional show stand. Referring to FIG. 1, a hook 71 positioned on a bracket 70 of a display board 60 is fitted into the supporting element 52 of the stand 50 to securely fix the display board 60 on the stand 50. The stand 50 comprises a chassis 51 for support erecting the whole structure. However, the conventional show stand is made of hard metallic material in order to reinforce the structure, and therefore, it is heavy, inconvenient to assemble and expensive. Thus, the conventional show stand is not attractive to the users. Furthermore, the chassis 51 of the stand 50 which is used to support the whole structure may be subject to stress or torque force which may cause instability that may deform show stand.

Furthermore, the stand can only extend with the connected parts in a horizontal or vertical direction without any other attractive size and shapes. Because the display of products is very important, and if the shops always have same type of show stand, the consumers may not be attracted. Therefore, how to reduce the cost and as well as simplify the assembling process and produce more varieties of attractive shapes of show stands to attract the consumers are important issues for the manufacturers in the field.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, the present invention is directed to a show stand which is easy to assemble and in various attractive size and shapes. The show stand of the present invention can be detachably assembled, and therefore can be easily dissembled and transported to any locations.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, the show stand comprises at least a main board, a set of display parts and a set of securing elements. The main board comprises a plurality of slots. Each display parts comprises a plurality of tongues and each tongue has a securing slot, wherein the tongues of said set of display parts can be inserted into the corresponding slots from a display side of said main board such the tongues protrude out of an assembling side of the main board opposite to the display side thereof. The securing elements are adapted for removably inserting into the securing slots of the tongues protruding out of the assembly side of the main board to securely assemble the display parts on the main board. Thus, the present invention provides a much more comprehensive assembly parts for constructing attractive show stand of various size and shape that can be easily assembled together.

DETAIL DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a single sided show stand according to a first preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 3 is an exploded view of a single sided show stand according to the first preferred embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the show stand comprises two main boards 10 each having a plurality of slots 11, a set of the display parts 20, and a set of securing elements 30. The display parts 20 may be detachably fixed to the corresponding slots 11 formed on the main board 10 and the securing elements 30 may be used to securely assemble the main board 10 and the display parts 20 together to form a prototype show stand, or the securing elements 30 may be used to securely the assemble the main board 10 to another main board 10.

The display parts 20 comprises, for example but not limited to, a bottom foldable deck 221, a hanging board 262 and two wings 24. Each of the display parts comprises a plurality of tongues 21, wherein each tongue 21 has a securing slot 211. To assemble the display parts 20 and the main boards 10 together to form a show stand, first, the tongues 21 of the bottom foldable deck 221 may be penetrated through the corresponding slots 11 on the main board 10 from the display side 14 until the tongues 21 protrude out of the assembly side 15 of the main board 10. Next, the T shape plate 311 of the securing elements 30 may be plugged into the securing slots 211 of the tongues 21 on the assembly side 15 of the main board 10 in order to secure the bottom foldable deck 221 to the main board 10, as shown in FIG. 9. Likewise, other display parts 20 such as the hanging board 262, the wings 24 and the bottom foldable deck 221 may be assembled to the main board 10. Furthermore, the tongues 21 of the wing 24 protruding from the assembling side 15 of the main board 10 may be inserted into the slit 321 of a securing box 32 of the securing element 30 to position the tongues 21 protruding out of the inner side 322 of the securing box 32. The assembling side 15 of the main board 10 may be jointed to the securing box 32 by fitting the tongue 331 of the securing element 33 into the corresponding slits 11 and 321 to further protrude the tongue 331 out of the inner side 332 of the securing box 32. The C-shaped plate 312 of the securing element 30 may be inserted into the slits 11 and 321 of the folding side 13 of the second main board 10 from the first main board 10, and the B-shaped plate 313 may be fitted into the top side, the hole 12 and the bottom side of the assembling side 15 of the first and second main boards 10 for embedding the C-shaped plate 312 of the securing element 30, and also fit the T-shape plate 311 of the securing element 30 into slits 211 and 3311 of the tongues 21 and 331 until they protrude from the inner side 322 of the securing box 32 securing the first and second main boards 10 to complete the assembly to form the show stand shown in FIG. 2. Thus, all the components may be easily and quickly assembled to form the attractive show stand.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view of a double sided show stand according to a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5 is an exploded view of a double sided show stand according to the second preferred embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, the show stand of the second embodiment comprises two main boards 10, each having a plurality of slots 11, two set of display parts 20, each having a plurality of tongues 21 to fit into the corresponding slots 11 of the main boards 10 and two set of securing elements 30 for securely assembling main boards 10 and the display parts 20 together to form a double sided attractive show stand shown in FIG. 4.

Each set of display parts 20 are similar to those described above with reference to the first embodiment except for additional small boards 231, large board 232 and medium board 233, and the two sets of display parts may be assembled together with the main boards 10 using the securing elements 30 as described above exclusive securing element 33. Furthermore, two sets of the display parts 20 respectively secured on the display sides 14 of the two main board 10 facing in the opposite direction as shown in FIG. 10 may be assembled to form an attractive show stand shown in FIG. 4.

FIG. 6 is a perspective view of a four sided show stand according to a third preferred embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is an exploded view of a four sided structure according to the third preferred embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7 the show stand of the third embodiment comprises four main boards 10, each having a plurality of slots 11, four set of display parts 20, each having a plurality of tongues 21 to fit into the corresponding slots 11 of the main boards 10 and four set of securing elements 30 for securely assembling main boards 10 and the display parts 20 together to form a four sided attractive show stand shown in FIG. 6.

Each set of display parts 20 are similar to those described above with reference to the first embodiment except the hanging board (262) is replaced by the poster board 25 and the bottom foldable deck (221) by the bottom deck 222, and the four sets of display parts may be assembled together with four main boards 10 respectively by using the securing elements 30 as described above. Two main boards 10 may be assembled together using appropriate securing elements 30 as shown in FIGS. 11, 12 and 13 such that two main boards 10 are positioned perpendicular to each other. Likewise, four main boards 10 may be assembled together positioned perpendicular to each other. Next, four sets of the display parts 20 may be respectively secured on the display sides 14 of the four main boards 10, and two boards 34 may be disposed on top and bottom to cover the space surrounded by the four assembled main boards 10 to prevent any dust or unwanted objects from entering into said space. Thus, an attractive four sided show stand shown in FIG. 6 may be constructed.

FIG. 8 is a perspective view of a long show stand including a plurality of show stands according to a fourth preferred embodiment of the present invention. The structure of the show stand of the fourth embodiment of the present invention is similar to that of the third embodiment described above except that the show stand is of greater length using ten main boards 10, ten sets of display parts 20 and ten sets of securing elements 30, wherein four sets of the main boards 10 are arranged in a same row on two opposite sides of the long stand and are serially connected and positioned at 180 degrees to each other. A person of ordinary skill may easily deduce the technique of assembling the various parts in view of the above description to construct the long show stand shown in FIG. 8, and therefore a detail description thereof is omitted herein.

Thus, as can be seen from the above description, the present invention provides a much more comprehensive assembly parts for constructing attractive show stand of various size and shape that can be easily assembled together.

While the invention has been described in conjunction with a specific best mode, it is to be understood that many alternatives, modifications, and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art in light of the foregoing description. Accordingly, it is intended to embrace all such alternatives, modifications, and variations in which fall within the spirit and scope of the included claims. All matters set forth herein or shown in the accompanying drawings are to be interpreted in an illustrative and non-limiting sense.

Claims

1. A show stand, comprising:

at least a main board, comprising a plurality of slots;
a set of display parts, each display part comprising a plurality of tongues and each tongue having a securing slot, wherein said tongues of said set of display parts can be inserted into corresponding slots from a display side of said main board such said tongues protrude out of an assembling side of said main board opposite to the display side thereof; and
a set of securing elements, for removably inserting into the securing slots of the tongues protruding out of the assembly side of the main board to securely assemble said set of display parts on the main board.

2. The show stand according to claim 1, wherein said main board comprises two opposite folded sides including a plurality of slots for connecting with another main board using securing elements.

3. The show stand according to claim 1, wherein said display parts comprise foldable decks, flat boards, wings, poster boards or hanging boards.

4. The show stand according to claim 2, wherein said securing elements comprises a plurality of T shape plates.

5. The show stand according to claim 1, wherein the show stand comprises two main boards, and wherein display sides thereof are positioned in opposite directions.

6. The show stand according to claim 1, wherein the show stand comprises four main boards arranged perpendicular to each other.

7. The show stand according to claim 1, wherein the show stand comprises ten main boards, and wherein four main boards are arranged in a row with two rows arranged in opposite sides.

8. The show stand structure according to claim 1, wherein said main board comprises a plurality of holes for positioning power cords.

9. The display stand according to claim 1, wherein said securing elements comprises a plurality of plates, wherein said plates are securely fitted into said securing slots of the tongues, or said plates are embedded into another plate and said tongues of said display parts are inserted into said slots of said main board such that said tongues protrude out of said assembling side of said main board after penetrating through said slots of said main board.

10. The display stand according to claim 2, wherein said securing elements comprise a plurality of plates and a securing pin with a plurality of tongues, wherein said plates are fitted into securing slots of said tongues, or said plates are embedded into another plate and said tongues of said display parts are inserted into said slots of said main board such that said tongues protrude out of said assembling side of said main board after penetrating through said slots of said main board and secured by embedding with another plate, and wherein said securing pin comprises a tongue to fit into a slot positioned correspondingly on another main board.

11. The display stand according to claim 2, wherein said securing elements comprise a plurality of plates and a plurality of securing boards, wherein said plates are fitted into securing slots of said tongues for securely positioning said plates and said securing boards are positioned on a top or a bottom of said stand.
