2. Description of the Related Art

Generally, some person will spend one-third lifetime to sleep. Therefore, a well sleep is an important factor in health. The well sleep needs a good bedclothing except a good environment, such as dark and quiet environment. When a man steps or sits, a number of muscles in the small of the back, such as the big lumbar muscle and the small lumbar muscle, must be used to support the backbone. Therefore, the number of muscles in the small of the back can have a rest only if the people lie. Therefore, a perfect bed is an important tool to make the muscles relax every inch.

The perfect bed should be a bed having countless supporting dots as if countless hands support our body uniformly. That is, the perfect bed should correspond to contours of our bodies and have same supports everywhere.

From the above, a water bed is a bed which is much close to the perfect bed. According to a report from the medical center of the Chicago University, the water bed can support and float a body uniformly based on a contour of the body, and can balance bones of the body. The water bed can also reduce presses upon the muscles, and can produce an excellent blood circulation, and can make the body float thereon every inch.

Additionally, if a man lies in a bed for a long time, the water bed will reduce the probability of occurring bedsore. Therefore, the water bed is the best comfortable bed which can remain a same temperature through water transmitting and heating devices, and can changing the solidness thereof. The water bed is a good selection for elders or men lying on bed for a long time because of illness. However, if the water bed is used, it needs a great deal of water. The great deal of water will makes the water bed too heavy and be difficult to exchange water. In addition, the water bed wastes water.

Except the water bed, an air bed is similar to the water bed. A conventional air bed can release gas therein through air holes to enhance ventilation of the beddings. The conventional air bed can complement gas by a pump. The conventional air bed can be curled up to be stored so that it occupies little space. However, using the conventional air bed, users will feel unsteady and close.

What is needed is to provide a pillow with dual-uses in warm and cold conditions which can solve the above problems.
