Potty Urinal

The invention converts a standard child's potty chair to a young boy's potty training urinal. The potty urinal becomes a reality by replacing the standard potty chair seat with the new potty urinal seat. The potty urinal seat flips up meeting the urinal splash creating a training urinal allowing a young boy to learn how to “go” while standing up. The potty urinal seat includes small tabs (handle like) on the outer rim of the seat allowing the boy to move the seat into the urinal mode easily. The potty urinal also would be equipped with a bulls-eye sticker to adhere to a strategic location on the potty urinal giving the young boy an area to aim.

Description
35 U.S.C. 112 SPECIFICATIONS

The present invention is a potty urinal that either attaches to an existing potty chair, or can be manufactured as part of a potty chair for young boys.

The potty urinal works in conjunction with the potty chair seat . . . when the seat is flipped up, it meets the potty urinal and creates a urinal like look to the potty chair. The lower part of the potty urinal extends into the potty chair, thus forcing the “flow” into the potty chairs removable pail. The upper part of the potty urinal is the same height as the existing potty chair toilet seat. When the seat meets the potty urinal, they create a solid backing forcing the flow downward.

As shown in FIG. 1, the seat has two handles to assist the young boy in flipping up the seat. The handles are part of the seat and are manufactured to be solid, void of any openings, in order for the young boy's fingers to be safe when lifting the seat.

The potty urinal is preferably molded from plastic material but may be manufactured of any desired material, such as metal. The plastic may be chosen in a variety of colors to match the potential owners home color scheme.

It is understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but encompasses any and all embodiments within the scope of the following claims.

Claims

1. The present invention is a potty training urinal that can attach to an existing potty chair, or could be manufactured in conjunction with a potty chair for young boys.

2. The potty training urinal works in union with the potty chair seat... when the potty chair seat is flipped up, it joins the potty urinal backing and therefore creates a urinal like look to the already patented potty chair. This invention is unique since the joining of the potty seat to the urinal backing creates a training urinal. Continuing on, the lower part of the potty urinal backing extends several inches into the potty chair, thus forcing the flow of urine into the potty chairs removable pail. The upper part of the potty urinal is the same height as the existing potty chair toilet seat. When the seat and the potty urinal backing join together, they create a solid backing forcing the urine flow downward.

As shown in. FIG. 1, in the event the potty urinal is manufactured together with the potty chair, the potty chair seat would have two handles, on the side of the seat, approximately located (in relation to a wall clock, the hands on the 4 and 8) just left and right of center, to assist the young boy in flipping up the seat. The handles are part of the seat and are manufactured to be solid, void of any openings, in order for the young boy's fingers to be safe when lifting the seat. The potty urinal is preferably molded from plastic material but may be manufactured of any desired material. The plastic may be chosen in a variety of colors to match the potential owners home color scheme.
It is understood that the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described above, but encompasses any and all embodiments within the scope of the following claims.
