Ventilating hood and a helmet with the ventilating hood
A ventilating hood and a helmet with the ventilating hood consist of a helmet, a ventilating hood fixed on the top of the helmet and a warning light. The helmet has an air vent and an air exit on its top. The air guiding hood has an air entrance and an air exit respectively opened at its front side and rear side, and an accommodating chamber formed in its bottom to guide air current, able to keep a user free from closeness and discomfort. Also, the warning light installed behind the air-guiding hood can not only attract more attention, but also keep the helmet remained intact without damaging its structure.
1. Field of the invention
This invention relates to a ventilating hood and a helmet with the ventilating hood, particularly to one fixed together with a helmet for reducing the temperature and the sultriness in the helmet, and a warning light set behind the ventilating hood to shine as a warning light, with the structure of the helmet kept intact not to be damaged.
2. Description of the Prior Art
As Taiwan is densely populated and crowded, traffic is always heavy all over it, especially jam-packed during the rush hour. Moreover, parking is another problem troubling most of all drivers. Therefore, motorcycles become a dominant vehicle because of its good mobility and convenience. Nowadays, although a brake light is assembled at the rear of a motorcycle, lit up to warn the drivers coming behind it while braking the motorcycle or turning on the head light, but it is always located too low to be ignored by the drivers coming behind, especially if the rider wears dark clothes in the nighttime, apt to pose an accident of successive collision. In order to have a better warning effect, a helmet with a warning device has been provided to improve security of a motorcyclist.
As shown in
1. Although the helmet can protect a user's head well, but it makes the user feel sweltering and uncomfortable while wearing it, especially in hot summer. So, the users are of course unwilling to wear such a helmet owing to the uncomfortable sultriness.
2. The slot 91 cut in the main body 9 for fitting the warning light 92 may lessen the strength of the main body 9 to cause reduced protection to the user.
A second conventional helmet with a warning light, shown in
1. Like the first conventional helmet, the second known helmet also makes a user feel sweltering and uncomfortable while wearing it, especially in hot summer.
2. The adhesive tape 93, a twin adhesive tape, used to keep the brake light 94 attached on the rear of the helmet or a proper location is very insecure because it is apt to lose its adhesion in a certain period of time, causing the brake light to fall off the adhesive tape 93 losing adhesion. In addition, adhering the braking light 94 with such an adhesive tape 93 makes the helmet look graceless.
Therefore, the invention has been devised to overcome the defects, making a user feel close and improper adhesion of a braking light, existing in the two known helmets mentioned above.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe objective of this invention is to offer a ventilating hood and a helmet with the ventilating hood.
The main characteristics of the invention are a helmet, a ventilating hood and a warning light. The helmet is provided with an air vent and an air exit opened on its top. The ventilating hood is connected to the top of the helmet, provided with an air entrance and an air exit respectively opened at its front side and rear side, and an accommodating chamber formed in its bottom to guide air current, able to keep a user free from closeness and discomfort. In addition, the air guiding hood is provided with a wireless receiver set at its bottom side to control the warning light turned on or off and an emitter is installed at a random location of a motorcycle to connect with a light line of a rear brake light of the motorcycle, so that the wireless receiver can receive a signal sent by the emitter to activate the warning light to be lit up, attracting more attention from other drivers. Moreover, the warning light installed behind the ventilating hood can keep the helmet remained intact without damaging its structure.
This invention is better understood by referring to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
As shown in
The helmet 1 is provided with an air vent 11 and an air exit 12 bored on its top for ventilation inside the helmet 1 to drop its temperature and its sultriness, and plural screw holes 13 for fixing the ventilating hood 2.
The ventilating hood 2 is provided with an air entrance 21 and an air exit 22 opened at its front side and its rear side respectively, and a recess 23 formed at its rear side for installing the warning light 3. The recess 23 is provided with plural locking members 231 formed around its edge close to the front side. The ventilating hood 2 is also provided with an accommodating chamber 24 formed in its bottom to guide air current, and plural threaded members 25 set inside the accommodating chamber 24 for fixing the ventilating hood with the helmet 1.
The warning light 3 used as a brake light or a turn signal is provided with a bottom board 31, a light panel 32 installed behind the bottom board 31, and a light lid 33 covered behind the light panel 32. The light panel 32 is provided with at least a light 321 positioned on its surface, such as a LED bulb, a switch 322 positioned at one side to respectively connect with the light 321 by a power line and with plural batteries 323 supplying power to the light 321, and a wireless receiver 324 linked with the light 321 through a line to control it turning on or off. The light lid 33 is provided with a slope 331 formed full of colorful diamond shapes around its outer surface so as to reflect brilliantly as real diamonds do, a through hole 332 bored at one side corresponding to the switch 322 of the light panel 32 so as to let it extend out, and plural locking projections 333 formed around its edge close to the front side.
In assembly, as shown in
In using, as shown in
As shown in
The invention has the following advantages as can be seen from the foresaid description.
1. The helmet 1 is installed with the ventilating hood 2 to keep the air flowing through its air vent 11 and its air exit 12, effective to lower the temperature and the closeness inside the helmet 1 so as to make a user feel comfortable while wearing the helmet of the invention.
2. As the warning light 3 is installed behind and fixed deadly with the ventilating hood 2 without damaging the structure of the helmet 1, the helmet of the invention is surely strong enough to protect a user wearing it.
3. With the wireless receiver 324 installed at the top of the helmet 1 to control the light 321 and the emitter 7 positioned on the motorcycle to connect with the light line 8 of the rear brake of the motorcycle, the is light 321 can be lit up to display a shining warning light to ensure security of the rider while the rider brakes the motorcycle to keep the rear brake light lit up.
