Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to laptop carrier cases, more particularly, a laptop carrier case which permits a person to quickly and easily access his/her laptop computer without having to remove it from the computer carrier case while allowing the person to carry additional documents and/or items in an attached accessories holder.

Currently, conventional laptop computer carrier cases are constructed so as to house a laptop computer therein. Although conventional laptop computer carrier cases permit individuals to carry his/her laptop computer from various places, there are several disadvantages associated with using such laptop computer carrier cases.

First, the use of such conventional laptop computer carrier cases is time-consuming. For instance, to access the laptop computer, a user must unzip the carrier case and remove the laptop computer from the interior of the carrier case, the task of which takes a predetermined amount of time. In addition, if a user is traveling through an airport with the laptop computer housed in the laptop computer carrier case, he/she usually must open the case and remove the laptop computer from the case to show security that he/she is only carrying a laptop computer and not a prohibited item.

Second, the use of such conventional laptop computer carrier cases require the user to have access to a large amount of space. The space requirement is due to the user having to physically remove the laptop computer from the carrier case, placing the laptop computer on a surface and moving the carrier case to a different location, usually the ground. If a person is attempting to use the laptop computer on an airplane or in a confined space, it is oftentimes difficult to perform this maneuver. In the alternative, if there is little to no room, oftentimes a user uses the laptop computer within the carrier case or on the carrier case, an act which may cause the laptop computer to overheat.

Third, oftentimes a person will store documents and/or items, such as pens, business cards software, disks and the like in the internal pockets of a carrier case. When the person is in need of such items, he/she must open the carrier case to access the items, a task which is both time-consuming and burdensome.

Thus, a need exists for a laptop computer carrier case which permits a person to quickly and easily access his/her laptop computer without having to remove it from the computer carrier case while allowing the person to carry additional documents and/or items in an attached accessories holder.
