Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1 . Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a towel cake, and more particularly to a towel wrapping around a lateral board of a supporting body in the shape of a cake so that the towel cake looks more solid and stable.

2 . Description of the Related Art

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, FIG. 1 is a perspective diagram of a conventional cake towel and FIG. 2 is the process for making a conventional cake towel. In FIG. 1 the cake towel comprises at least a cake body 101, a towel 102, a cake container 104, a cake decoration 105, a transparent bag 108, a ribbon 109 and a tag 110. In FIG. 2, you can clearly see that the cake towel is constructed by a cardboard 103 with a top side 106, and from the top side 106 each side extends a folding side 107. The making process is being described in FIG. 2, wherein step (a) the cake towel 102 is being placed on the top side 106 of the cardboard 103, and in step (b) the towel 102 is being folded toward the center in accordance with the folding sides 107 and folded in accordance with the shape of the top side 106 to form the shape of the cake body 101 as in step (c), then place the cake body 101 into the cake container 104 to complete the process. Referring to FIG. 1, place the decoration 105 on the towel 102 of the cake body 101, and then put it inside a transparent bag 108; afterwards, a ribbon 109 is tied and a tag 110 is attached to form a complete cake towel.

However, the towel easily tears open along the folding sides if a cake body is folded and wrapped this way; also the folding side would not be solid and stable if the towel is wrapped this way and would not help placing the cake into the cake container. As regards the outside packaging, putting the cake body into a transparent bag would not support the exerted pressure and would easily crush the cake towel.

To overcome the aforementioned shortcomings, the inventor presents a way of using a towel to wrap up a supporting body so that the towel would not easily fall apart, then place the entire object onto a carrier tray and cover it by a transparent external hood, which would protect the towel cake. With years of research and practical experience in design and after repeated discussions, the inventor has presented a preferred embodiment for the towel cake.
