Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1) Field of the Invention

The invention herein relates to a stocking capable of the convenient holding of articles, wherein the stocking body section has conjoined to its center section an annular, wrap-around outer layer stocking body; as such, articles can be directly placed inside the outer layer stocking body and retained in position by the knitted binding force of the outer layer stocking body, thereby enabling effective leg section protection and convenient wearing utility.

2) Description of the Prior Art

During the playing of rigorous sports such as football and baseball, to protect the four limbs from sustaining impact resulting in injury, adhesive tape or some other object is typically utilized to fasten protective equipment for wearing on these sections, thereby achieving a reduction in the impact force against these sections; however, in actual usage, what has been discovered is: The protective equipment fastening methods now utilized consists of adhesive tape or other similar means to fasten the upper and lower edges at the two sides of the protective equipment to thereby secure wearing on the leg section, which is not only troublesome, but not of a very attractive appearance; however, to achieve overall protection objectives there is little choice but to wear them as it is quite difficult to optimize both aspects.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Referring to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the invention herein is a stocking capable of the convenient holding of articles, wherein during the manufacturing of the shape and structure of said stocking 1, in the stage of the stocking body 11 section extending upward from the sole and along the joint between the calf and the thigh, an additional layer is appended to the stocking body 11 in the form of an annular, wrap-around outer layer stocking body 2, said outer layer stocking body 2 bottom 21 consisting of a fixing means (stitched or knitted) disposed at the upper extent of the joint over the sole, an opening 22 at the topmost end, and, to increase aesthetic appearance, various colored graphics such as a lettered trademark 2A that are attached to the outer layer stocking body 2 surface.

As such, as would be the case when the user 3 wears a similar conventional stocking, since said stocking 1 stocking body 11 and the outer layer stocking body 2 have ventilating capability, the stifling dampness that is difficult to tolerate is not felt; and during rigorous or light sports, such as on a football field (as shown in FIG. 4), a basketball court, or a baseball field, after the outer layer stocking body 2 is folded down before entering the field, various protective equipment 4 can be placed between it and the leg section 31, following which the outer layer stocking body 2 is again pulled up and worn properly, the protective equipment 4 in the outer layer stocking body 2 retained in position (as shown in FIG. 3) by the knitted binding force of the outer layer stocking body 2; as such, the wearer utilization method is not only completely convenient, simple, and easy, but also provides protection, whereby the limbs of the user 3 are afforded a reduction in impact force that results in effective protection against injury; furthermore, since the outer layer stocking body 2 covers the protective equipment 4 and has a aesthetic decorative effect, and given the lettered trademark 2A attached to the outer layer stocking body 2 surface that are shown in detail externally, this constitutes a thoroughly eye-catching sudden visual impression which achieves an advertising and information conveying effect.

In contrast, when said stocking 1 is utilized for leisurely recreational activities, such as mountain climbing, wherein the temperature is much lower and the road surface is at times rutted and uneven, wet and slippery curved, and difficult to negotiate such that a walking stick is required for assistive support (as shown in FIG. 6), to prevent the exposure of the leg section 31, which is closer to the ground surface and relatively more susceptible to external damp and chilly temperature air current contact, as well as to protect in the event of possible slipping and falling, a warmth insulating material can be placed between the stocking body 11 and the outer layer stocking body 2, and then after the knitted binding force of the outer layer stocking body 2 retains it in position, a warmth preserving and protective effect is achieved.

Additionally, said stocking 1 can also be utilized for modified applications, wherein by cutting off the stocking bottom section, it is thereafter utilized over the leg section 31 (as shown in FIG. 7) or the arm 32 (as shown in FIG. 8), thereby effectively achieving similar protective and convenient wearing utility.

In summation of the foregoing section, since the invention herein possesses practical utility that is apparent and, furthermore, complies with application requirements stipulated in Article 93 of the Patent Law, the present invention is submitted to the patent bureau for review and the granting of the commensurate patent rights.
