Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a case product, and in particular, a combined golf equipment case that is easy to be conveyed and packaged.

BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION

Golf has gradually popularized from a noble sport of the early days and has become a favorite sport of more and more people.

In order to conveniently convey the golf equipment (including golf bag, golf club, golf ball, etc.), a case body is design for storage and package of the golf equipment so that the equipment can be effectively protected and unnecessary damages that may be caused during the conveyance are avoided. However, because the cover and the base of a conventional golf equipment case are securely connected to form a case body shape, the volume which the case body itself occupies cannot be changed, and even if there is no golf equipment placed inside the case body, the case body still occupies a larger space, which increases the conveyance cost.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is to provide a combined golf equipment case, which can be disassembled and assembled by the user.

Another object of the present invention is to provide a combined golf equipment case, which can reduce the package size for conveyance of the case body.

In order to achieve the above-mentioned objects, the combined golf equipment case of the present invention comprises a cover and a base, both defining a closed storage space when closing so as to receive golf equipment. One side of the cover and the opposing side of the base are connected by at least one detachable/combinable pivoting device for facilitating disassembly and assembly of the cover and the base. In other words, when the pivoting device is detached to separate the cover from the base, the cover, after detached and reversed, can be stacked on the inside of the base, and when the pivoting device is used to combine the cover and the base, the cover can be lifted up from the base.

Moreover, the annular rim of the cover is mated with the rim of the base. The outer diameter of the bulge portion that bulges upwardly from the periphery of the annular rim of the cover is less than or equal to the inner diameter of the inside of the base; for example, the bulge portion of the cover is formed into an arcuate shape of which the outer diameter is less than or equal to the inner diameter of the inside of the base so that the cover, after detached and reversed, can be exactly received inside the base, which achieves the purpose of saving space. A flexible liner for assisting in connection is provided on the inside of where the cover is pivotally connected with the base. The flexible liner is attached to the cover and the base by one end fixed thereto and the other end movably connected thereto. Further, at least one drawbolt lock for locking the cover and the base is provided on the other sides of the cover and the base that are opposite to the sides where the pivoting device is provided, so as to avoid unwittingly opening the cover and the base.

Each of the embodiments that will be described below according to the present invention has the following advantages: the cover, after detached and reversed, can be exactly received inside the base so that the package size for conveyance can be reduced, facilitating package and delivery and saving the conveyance cost; also, the cover and the base can be connected by using the detachable/combinable pivoting device so that the user can easily perform the detaching or combining step.

FIRST EMBODIMENT

According to the first embodiment of the present invention, a combination of pivot hole and pivot pin is used as the pivoting device. At least one pivot hole is provided on one side of the annular rim of the cover, and the same number of pivot pin(s) as the pivot hole is provided on the opposing side of the rim of the base for connecting with the pivot hole(s) of the cover.

The pivot holes are each formed on a metal sheet, which is fixed to the cover with the pivot hole protruding over the annular rim of the cover. The pivot pins are each formed on another metal sheet, which is fixed to the base. The pivot pins can be inserted into the pivot holes so as to achieve the pivotal connection.

The connecting between the cover and the base of the present invention can be freely disassembled and assembled by using the pivot holes and the pivot pins. When the combined golf equipment case is put to use, the connecting between the cover and the base is achieved by connecting the pivot holes on the opposing side of the cover to the corresponding pivot pins of the base so that the cover can be freely lifted up from the base or close, which constitutes a case body structure for use; When the combined golf equipment case is to be detached, the cover is just pushed in an opposite direction to separate the pivot holes from the pivot pins, which is quite easy for disassembly and assembly.

SECOND EMBODIMENT

According to another embodiment of the present invention, a combination of resilient clip fastener and clip slot is used as the pivoting device. At least one resilient clip fastener is provided on one side of the annular rim of the cover, and the same number of clip slot (s) as the resilient clip fastener is provided on the opposing side of the rim of the base for connecting with the resilient clip fastener(s) of the cover. The resilient clip fastener is fixed to the cover and has a pivot for providing the function of pivotal connection when connected with the clip slot; also, the resilient clip fastener has a set of tenons on its lateral sides. A pivotal connection can be achieved by fastening the set of tenons of the resilient clip fastener into the clip slot provided on the base, and the cover can be lifted up from the base with the pivot. Further, the connecting between the resilient clip fastener and the clip slot can be loosed by pressing the set of tenons.

The connecting between the cover and the base of the present invention can be freely disassembled and assembled by the pivotal connection of the plurality of resilient clip fasteners and clip slots having the function of pivotal connection. When the combined golf equipment case is put to use, the connecting between the cover and the base is achieved by fastening the resilient clip fasteners on the opposing side of the cover to the corresponding clip slots of the base so that the cover can be freely lifted up from the base or close, which constitutes a case body structure for use; When the combined golf equipment case is to be detached, the connecting between the resilient clip fasteners and the clip slots can be loosed simply by pressing the sets of tenons on the lateral sides of the resilient clip fasteners to separate the cover from the base, which is quite easy for disassembly and assembly as well.

THIRD EMBODIMENT

According to another embodiment of the present invention, a combination of resilient clip fastener and clip slot is used as the pivoting device. At least one resilient clip fastener is provided on one side of the annular rim of the cover, and the same number of clip slot(s) as the resilient clip fastener is provided on the opposing side of the rim of the base for connecting with the resilient clip fastener(s) of the cover. The resilient clip fastener is fixed to the cover and has a pivot for providing the function of pivotal connection when connected with the clip slot; also, the resilient clip fastener has a tenon on its front sides. A pivotal connection can be achieved by fastening the tenon of the resilient clip fastener into the clip slot provided on the base, and the cover can be lifted up from the base with the pivot. Further, the connecting between the resilient clip fastener and the clip slot can be loosed by pressing the tenon.

The connecting between the cover and the base of the present invention can be freely disassembled and assembled by the pivotal connection of the plurality of resilient clip fasteners and clip slots having the function of pivotal connection. When the combined golf equipment case is put to use, the connecting between the cover and the base is achieved by fastening the resilient clip fasteners on the opposing side of the cover to the corresponding clip slots of the base so that the cover can be freely lifted up from the base or close, which constitutes a case body structure for use; When the combined golf equipment case is to be detached, the connecting between the resilient clip fasteners and the clip slots can be loosed simply by pressing the tenons on the front sides of the resilient clip fasteners to separate the cover from the base, which is quite easy for disassembly and assembly as well.

DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The present invention will be further described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.

First Embodiment

As shown in FIG. 1, the combined golf equipment case according to the first embodiment of the present invention comprises a cover 10 and a base 20, both defining a closed storage space for receiving golf equipment when closing. The cover 10 and the base 20 are both formed into a “U” shape. The cover 10 is essentially composed of an annular rim 12 and a bulge portion 13 that bulges upwardly from the periphery of the annular rim 12. The base 20 has a rim 22 that is mated with the annular rim 12 of the cover 10. The shape and size of the annular rim 12 are matched with those of the rim 22 of the base 20 so that a smooth profile of case body can be obtained when the cover 10 and the base 20 close. Also, rollers 21 for assisting in pushing and pulling the case can be provided at the rear end of the base 20, and a handle 11 can be provided on the top of the cover 10 for carrying the case.

In the first embodiment, a combination of pivot pin 43 and pivot hole 44 is used as the pivoting device. In other words, the cover 10 and the base 20 can be combined to form an integrated case body, and the cover 10 can be lifted up from the base 20 and close. The detailed structures of the pivot pin 43 and the pivot hole 44 are shown in FIGS. 2, 3 and 4. The pivot hole 44 is formed on a metal sheet 42, which can be processed by the bending molding, etc., and the pivot pin 43 is formed on another metal sheet 41. The pivot pin 43 can be inserted into the pivot hole 44 in the arrow direction as shown in FIG. 2 so as to achieve the function of pivotal connection.

A plurality of pivot holes 44 are provided on one side of the annular rim 12. The metal sheets 42 are riveted to the cover 10 with the pivot holes 44 protruding over the annular rim 12 of the cover 10 so that there is sufficient mounting and moving space to facilitate the pivotal connection. The same number of pivot pins 43 as the pivot holes 44 are provided on the opposing side of the rim 22 of the base 20, and the metal sheets 41 thereof are also riveted to the base 20. The plurality of pivot pins 43 of the base 20 are connected to the corresponding pivot holes 44 of the cover 10 so that the pivot pins 43, after inserted into the pivot holes 44, can rotate to lift up the cover 10 from the base 20, which facilitates receiving and taking out the golf equipment. Namely, a case body is thus constituted.

FIGS. 5(A), 5(B) and 5(C) are schematic diagrams showing the combination of the cover and the base by the pivot holes and the pivot pins according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 5(A) shows the cover 10 and the base 20 in a separate state. When the cover 10 and the base 20 are to be combined, the annular rim 12 of the cover 10 is staggered with the rim 22 of the base 20, as shown in FIG. 5(B); namely, a space for assembling and interconnecting the pivot pins 43 and the pivot holes 44 is spared and the plurality of pivot pins 43 are aligned with the corresponding pivot holes 44. Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 5(C), the cover 10 is shifted horizontally, making the pivot holes 44 cover the pivot pins 43. The assembly is thus complete, which process is easy and fast. When the cover 10 is to be separated from the base 20, the cover 10 is just pushed reversely to separate the pivot holes 44 from the pivot pins 43 and the cover 10 can be thus detached.

FIG. 6 is a sectional view taken from the vi-vi line in FIG. 1. A flexible liner 30 for assisting in connection is provided on the inside of where the cover 10 is pivotally connected with the base 20. One end of the flexible liner 30 is fixed to the inside of the cover 10 in a sewed or riveted manner. After the cover 10 is combined with the base 20, the other end of the flexible liner 30 is connected to the corresponding base 20 in a sticking or buckling manner so that the flexible liner 30 is connected to the base 20 and can be easily detached. FIG. 7 is a schematic diagram showing the position of the flexible liner 30 inside with the cover opening according to the present invention. The flexible liner 30 can strengthen the pivotal connection between the cover 10 and the base 20, effectively avoid the loosing therebetween and stabilize the combination structure.

As shown in FIG. 6, the outer diameter of the bulge portion 13 of the cover 10 is less than or equal to the inner diameter of the inside 24 of the base 20. In this way, as shown in FIG. 8, after detached, the cover 10 can be reversed to be stacked on the inside 24 of the base 20; namely, the bulge portion 13 of the cover 10 is received in the inside 24 of the base 20. Therefore, the size of the cover 10 and the base 20 is reduced so that the package size for conveyance and the space occupied can be reduced to save the conveyance or delivery cost.

A plurality of drawbolt locks 35 are provided on the other sides of the cover 10 and the base 20 that are opposite to the sides where the pivot pins 43 and the pivot holes 44 are provided. As shown in FIG. 9(A), when the cover 10 is pivotally connected with the base 20, the cover 10 and the base 20 are lockingly connected by the drawbolt locks 35 so as to avoid unwittingly opening the cover and the base, achieve the effect of fastening the case body and facilitate a user's actual use. The drawbolt lock can be a type of drawbolt lock that can be further locked so as to avoid other persons' arbitrarily opening the cover and the base. The drawbolt lock as shown in FIG. 9(A) is a key type drawbolt lock and thus has a keyhole. However, the present invention is not limited to such a drawbolt lock, and other locking methods can also be applied. Alternatively, only one or several drawbolt locks adopt the locking type drawbolt lock, while the others adopt the drawbolt lock having no locking function. FIG. 9(B) is a partially-enlarged view of the drawbolt lock 35.
