A tower rack structure a rack frame is disclosed to include a tower frame defining a plurality of compartments, a case mounted in each compartment and having the holding space therein divided by a door into a rear chamber for accommodating a bone ash jar and a front chamber, a light transmissive cover capped on the front chamber of the case and having an embossed religious design in it, and LEDs installed in the rack frame and controlled to emit light through the periphery of the light transmissive cover.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

(a) Technical Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a bone ash tower and more particularly, to a tower rack structure for bone ash tower.

(b) Description of the Prior Art

After death, a corpse may be placed into the ground. Burial prevents the living from having to see and smell the decomposing corpse, but it is not necessarily a public health requirement. Because of limited land space and the development of environmental protection, cremation has been widely accepted to replace. Cremation is disposition of a human corpse by burning in a crematorium furnace or crematory fire. After cremation, the bone ash is collected in a jar, and the bon ahs jar may be kept in a compartment inside a bon ash tower for save-keeping. A conventional bone ash tower comprises a multi8ple racks each having multiple compartments. Each compartment is equipped with an access door for accommodating a bone ash jar. The access door may carry an embossed religious sign, showing dignity. A rack for bone ash tower of this design gives no special to people.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary purpose of the present invention is to provide a tower rack structure for bone ash tower, which gives an environment of silent dignity. It is another object of the present invention to provide a tower rack structure for bone ash tower, which gives a visual effect.

According to one aspect of the present invention, the tower rack structure for bone ash tower comprises a rack frame, which comprises a plurality of partition boards and a plurality of compartments surrounded by the partition boards, a case mounted in one compartment, the case comprising a holding space and a door mounted inside the holding space and dividing the holding space into a rear chamber for accommodating a bon ash jar and a front chamber, a light transmissive cover with an embossed design made out of glaze, glass, acrylic, or plastics, and capped on the front chamber of the case, and light emitting diodes installed in the rack frame and controlled to emit light through the light transmissive cover.

According to another aspect of the present invention, the case has a depth greater than the compartments such that the front chamber of the case is disposed outside the rack frame after installation of the case in one compartment. Therefore, when light from the light emitting diodes goes through the light transmissive cover, a visual effect is produced.

According to still another aspect of the present invention, the door is comprised of two swinging door panels hinged to the inside of the associating compartment at two sides.

The foregoing object and summary provide only a brief introduction to the present invention. To fully appreciate these and other objects of the present invention as well as the invention itself, all of which will become apparent to those skilled in the art, the following detailed description of the invention and the claims should be read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Throughout the specification and drawings identical reference numerals refer to identical or similar parts.

Many other advantages and features of the present invention will become manifest to those versed in the art upon making reference to the detailed description and the accompanying sheets of drawings in which a preferred structural embodiment incorporating the principles of the present invention is shown by way of illustrative example.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

The following descriptions are of exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.

Referring to FIG. 1, a tower rack structure in accordance with the present invention is shown comprising a rack frame 1. The rack frame 1 comprises a plurality of partition boards 11, and a plurality of compartments 12 surrounded by the partition boards 11. According to this embodiment, the compartments 12 are rectangular chambers. A case 2 is respectively installed in each compartment 12 for accommodating a respective ash bone jar 4. Light sources 13 are installed in the partition boards 11 around the compartments 12, and electrically connected to power source for emitting light toward the inside of each compartment 12. For the advantages of low power consumption and long service life, light emitting diodes are used for the light sources 13.

The case 2 is a rectangular container fitted into one compartment 12. The case 2 has a depth greater than the compartments 12. After installation of the case 2 in one compartment 12, the front side of the case 2 protrudes over the front side of the associating compartment 12. Further, a door 21 is installed in the case 2 to divide the inside space of the case 2 into a rear chamber 23 for accommodating a bone ash jar 4 and a front chamber 22 disposed outside the associating compartment 12. The door 21 is kept in alignment with the front side of the rack frame 1. According to this embodiment, the door 21 is formed of two swinging door panels.

Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3 and FIG. 1 again, a transmissive cover 3 is caped on the front side of the case 2. The transmissive cover 3 is made out of glaze, glass, acrylic, plastics, or any of a variety of other materials that admit light. The transmissive cover 3 may be made in any of a variety of colors, having a design 31 therein. The design 31 can be the embossment of the Goddess of Mercy, Buddha, god, a religious totem, such as the image of a scroll, and etc. (see FIG. 2).

FIG. 4 illustrates many tower rack structures installed in a bone ash tower according to the present invention. The tower rack structures give an atmosphere of dignity.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.

While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Claims

1. A tower rack structure comprising:

a rack frame, said rack frame comprising a plurality of partition boards and a plurality of compartments surrounded by said partition boards;
a case mounted in one of said compartments, said case comprising a holding space, a door mounted inside said holding space and dividing said holding space into a rear chamber for accommodating a bon ash jar and a front chamber;
a light transmissive cover capped on the front chamber of said case.

2. The tower rack structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein said case has a depth greater than said compartments such that the front chamber of said case is disposed outside said rack frame after installation of said case in one of said compartments.

3. The tower rack structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein said light transmissive cover has an embossed design therein.

4. The tower rack structure as claimed in claim 1, further comprising light source means installed in said rack frame and adapted to emit light through the periphery of said light transmissive cover.

5. The tower rack structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein said light source means is comprised of at least one light emitting diode.

6. The tower rack structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein said door is comprised of two door panels hinged to said case at two sides inside said holding space.
