Pull Handles for Gym Training With Adjustable Angle
A device and method for changing an angle between a pair of pull handles used with conjunction of a workout machine is disclosed. An easy to operate rotatable releasing unit on the handles may be operated to release an engagable locking unit, in order to allow changing of an angle between the pair of handles.
The present invention relates to pull handles for gym training apparatus. In particular this invention relates to device and method for a pulling devise which may allow the angle between the pull handles to be adjusted.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONUsually handles for pulling training apparatuses exist with fixed angles and the user can choose from the variety of handles the handles which the angle between them suites him the best, and to install them on the training apparatus. A user may have difficulties in finding suitable handles in the variety of existing handles, and the process of choosing the best fitting handles may cause waste of time. It is therefore desired to have a device and method providing adjustable handles which enable every user to adjust the angle between them to his comfort, and which cancel the need for several different handles with different angle.
The present invention will be understood and appreciated more fully from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the figures in which:
It will be appreciated that for simplicity and clarity of illustration, elements shown in the figures have not necessarily been drawn to scale. For example, the dimensions of some of the elements may be exaggerated relative to other elements for clarity. Further, where considered appropriate, reference numerals may be repeated among the figures to indicate corresponding or analogous elements.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTIONThe method and device of the present invention disclose handles for a weight pulling device which may allow the angle between the pull handles to be adjusted.

- a connection unit with a pair of pivots;
- a first and a second handles, said first handle having a cogwheel at one end and said second handle having a second cogwheel at one end, each of said first and said second cogwheels are pivoted on one of said pivots so that said cogwheels are engages with each other;
- at least one lock cogged unit slidably installed on said connection unit with a spring to engage said lock cogged unit with said first and said second cogwheels, wherein said lock cogged unit is disengaged from said first and said second cogwheels when pushed against said spring.
2. The adjustable pull handle device of claim 1 further comprising a separator unit rotatable from a rest position to a disengage position, wherein when in disengage position said separator unit disengages said cogged unit from said first and second cogwheels.
3. The adjustable pull handle device of claim 2 further comprising a releasing means attached to said separator unit to rotate said separator unit into disengage position when operated and allow return of said separator unit when released.
4. A method for changing an angle between two handles comprising:
- rotating releasing means to disengage said two handles from said releasing means;
- changing an angle between said two handles; and
- rotating said releasing means to rest position to engage said relasing means with said two handles.
5. A method of performing workout comprising:
- i. on a workout device rotating releasing means to disengage two handles from said releasing means;
- ii. changing an angle between said two handles to a desired angle;
- iii. rotating said releasing means to rest position to engage said releasing means with said two handles; and
- iv. performing workout on said workout device.
