Leakage-Proof Bottle Cap

A leakage-proof bottle cap comprises a plug pipe has a threaded hole in the interior and has a plurality of outlet holes in the bottom wall. The outlet holes interconnect with a threaded hole. A plug rod has a thread, whereby the plug rod can be screwed into the threaded hole of the plug pipe. The plug rod has a central hole and has a prop ring along the upper side thereof. The prop ring has a plurality of slots. The cover has a threaded hole on the inner wall thereof, whereby the cover can be screwed into the thread of the mouth. A plurality of insert elements is formed along the inner wall above the threaded hole, and the insert elements can engage with the slots of the plug rod, whereby rotating the cover can drive the plug rod to enter the plug pipe and seal the outlet holes.

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates a bottle cap, particularly to a bottle cap, which can prevent the contents from leakage.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Traditionally, a bottle containing fluid or semi-fluid cosmetic is usually closed with a cap in a screwing method. However, a single thread is hard to complete stop leakage via the engagement of serrate surfaces. Therefore, during a trip, one will often find that cosmetic serum, cosmetic lotion, or shampoo leaks from the bottle and taints clothes in the trunk, which must beset the traveler very much.

Refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2. A R.O.C. patent No. M280441 disclosed a valve structure to solve the abovementioned problem. The valve structure applies to the mouths of various containers and comprises: a sleeve 10, a piston rod 20, a valve mouth 30, a pipe 40, and a brush 50. The sleeve 10 has an accommodation groove 11 at one side thereof, and the accommodation groove 11 has a prop surface 111 on the inner wall thereof. The sleeve 10 has a discharge opening 12 at the other side thereof. The piston rod 20 has a rod 22 at one side thereof, and the rod 22 is sleeved by the accommodation groove 11. The piston rod 20 has a protrudent ring 21 at the middle thereof. The piston rod 20 has a press-fit member 23 at the other side thereof. The press-fit member 23 has an inner axial interconnection hole 24, and the interconnection hole 24 sleeve the valve mouth 30. The valve mouth 30 has an interconnection member 31 at one side thereof and has a discharge mouth 33 at the other side thereof. The junction between the interconnection member 31 and the discharge mouth 33 is a flange 32. The valve mouth 30 has a plurality of axial discharge holes 311 thereinside.

The pipe 40 has a sleeving member 41 at one side thereof, and the sleeving member 41 sleeves the press-fit member 23 of the piston rod 20. The pipe 40 has an annular recess 43 at the middle thereof, and the annular recess 43 presses against the outer rim of the sleeve 10.

The brush 50 has a sleeving hole 51 at one side thereof. The sleeving hole 51 passes through an opening 42 of the pipe 40 and joins with the flange 32 of the valve mouth 30.

An elastic element 44 is arranged inside the sleeve 10. One side of the elastic element 44 presses against the annular recess 43 of the pipe 40, and the other side presses against the prop surface 111 of the sleeve 10.

When the pipe 40 is pressed inward, the elastic element 44 will be pushed toward the prop surface 111 of the sleeve 10. The sleeving member 41 of the pipe 40 will push the protrudent ring 21 of the piston rod 20. Then, the rod 22 of the piston rod 20 is moved to seal the discharge opening 12 of the sleeve 10. Thus, the contents inside the container 13 will not leak out.

The leakage of the contents inside the container 13 is blocked via pressing the pipe 40 to move the piston rod 20 inward to seal the discharge opening 12 of the sleeve 10. Therefore, the pipe 40 should be fixed at a position lest the elastic element 44 elastically restore the pipe 40 back to the original position. If it should be the case, the piston rod 20 will be drawn back, and the contents inside the container 13 will leak out. The container 13 is inevitably pressed or vibrated during transportation, and the pipe 40 is likely to be released from the fixing position and sprung back to the original position by the elastic element 44. Then, the contents will leak out from the container 13. Therefore, the prior art still has problems to solve.

Based on many years' experience in related products, the Inventor has been persistently dedicated to research and improvement, and finally proposes a very useful leakage-proof bottle cap of the present invention.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a leakage-proof bottle cap, which comprises: a plug pipe, a plug rod, a brush and a cover, wherein the plug pipe can be squeezed into a mouth of a bottle. The plug pipe has a threaded hole in the center thereof and has a plurality of outlet holes in the bottom wall thereof. The outlet holes interconnect with the threaded hole. The plug rod has a thread on the outer wall thereof, whereby the plug rod can be screwed into the threaded hole of the plug pipe. The plug rod has a central hole in the interior thereof and has a prop ring along the upper side thereof. The prop ring has a plurality of slots. The cover has a threaded hole on the inner wall thereof, whereby the cover can be screwed into the thread of the mouth. A plurality of insert elements is formed along the inner wall above the threaded hole of the cover, and the insert elements can engage with the slots of the plug rod, whereby rotating the cover can drive the plug rod to enter the plug pipe and seal the outlet holes in the bottom wall of the plug pipe, which can prevent the contents of the bottle from leaking from the central hole of the plug rod.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Refer to FIG. 3. The leakage-proof bottle cap of the present invention caps a bottle 10 containing a fluid or semi-fluid contents. The bottle 10 has a mouth 11 at the top thereof, and the mouth 11 has a diameter smaller than that of the bottle 10. The outer wall of the mouth 11 has a thread 12.

The leakage-proof bottle cap 2 of the present invention comprises: a plug pipe 20 made of a plastic, a plug rod 30 made of a plastic, a brush 35 and a cover 40.

The plug pipe 20 can be squeezed into the mouth 11 of the bottle 10. The interior of the plug pipe 20 is hollow and fabricated into a threaded hole 21. The bottom of the plug pipe 20 has a pair of outlet holes 22, and the outlet holes 22 interconnect with the threaded hole 21. The top of the plug pipe 20 is expanded into a flange 23, and the outer diameter of the flange 23 is greater than that of the plug pipe 20; the plug pipe 20 is thus blocked on the end surface of the mouth 11 by the flange 23.

The outer wall of the plug rod 30 has a thread 31, whereby the plug rod 30 can be screwed into and secured to the threaded hole 21 of the plug pipe 20. A central hole 32 penetrates through the top and bottom of the plug rod 30. A prop ring 33 extends outward from the upper side of the plug rod 30 and has four slots 34. The prop ring 33 will press against the flange 23 of the plug pipe 20.

The brush 35 has an insert pipe 36. The insert pipe 36 can be inserted into the central hole 32 of the plug rod 30 and guides the contents inside the central hole 32 to the brush 35 to convenience the application of the contents.

The inner wall of the lower side of the cover 40 is fabricated into a threaded hole 41. Four insert elements 42 are formed along the inner wall above the threaded hole 41. Refer to FIG. 4A. The threaded hole 41 is screwed into the thread 12 of the bottle 10.

Refer to FIG. 4A again. When the cover 40 sleeves the mouth 11 of the bottle 10, the insert elements 42 on the inner wall of the cover 40 are also inserted into the slots 34 of the plug rod 30. When the cover 40 is screwed to tightly engage with the thread 12 of the mouth 11 of the bottle 10, the cover 40 also drives the plug rod 30 to rotate, and the plug rod 30 is thus screwed into the threaded hole 21 of the plug pipe 20. Then, in addition to that the cover tightly locks the mouth 11, the outlet holes 22 at bottom wall of the plug pipe 20 are also sealed. Thereby, a complete leakage-proof effect is obtained.

The present invention can apply to various plastic bottles 10, which contain fluid cosmetic lotion or semi-fluid cosmetic serum, nail polish, rinse-off cleanser, skin nutrition, etc. Even though the cover 40 is squeezed, the contents will not leak out because the plug rod 30 will not be pushed away in such a case.

Refer to FIG. 4B. When one intends to pour the contents from the bottle 10, the cover 40 is screwed away from the mouth 11, and the plug rod 30 is thus withdrawn from the plug pipe 20. Then, the cover 40 is taken away from the mouth 11. Next, the contents of the bottle 10 is let flow through the outlet holes 22. Next, the contents is guided to the central hole 32 of the plug rod 30. Then, the contents reaches the insert pipe 36 of the brush 35 and wets the brush 35 to convenience the application of the contents.

Refer to FIG. 5 for a second embodiment of the present invention. The second embodiment has a different type of cover 40a. The inner wall of the lower side of the cover 40a is fabricated into a threaded hole 41a. Four slots 41a are formed along the inner wall above the threaded hole 41a.

The second embodiment also has a different type of plug rod 30a. The outer wall of the plug rod 30a has a thread 31a. A central hole 32a penetrates through the top and bottom of the plug rod 30a. A prop ring 33a extends outward from the upper side of the plug rod 30a and has four insert elements 34a. The insert elements 34a are inserted into the slots 42a. Thus, rotating the cover 40a can drive the plug rod 30a to rotate, and the plug rod 30a is screwed into the threaded hole 21 of the plug pipe 20. Then, the outlet holes 22 at bottom wall of the plug pipe 20 are sealed. Thereby, the leakage of the contents inside the bottle 10 is blocked.

Refer to FIG. 6 for a third embodiment of the present invention. In the third embodiment, the leakage of the contents is blocked via merely screwing the plug rod 30 into the plug pipe 20 to seal the outlet holes 22. The bottle 10 using the bottle cap of the third embodiment can be used to contain beverages.

The samples of the present invention have been made according to the specification and drawings. After tested many times, the samples have been verified to be able to achieve the expected objectives. Thus, the utility of the present invention has been confirmed. Further, none similar product has been found in documents or markets in the moment that the application is to be filed. Thus, the Inventor files the patent application for the present invention.

The described above are only the preferred embodiments to exemplify the present invention but not to limit the scope of the present invention. Any equivalent modification or variation according to the spirit of the present invention is to be also included within the scope of the present invention.

Claims

1. A leakage-proof bottle cap comprising:

a plug pipe, which can be squeezed into a mouth of a bottle having a thread on the outer wall of said mouth, having a threaded hole in the interior of said plug pipe, and having at least one outlet hole in the bottom of said plug pipe, wherein said outlet hole interconnects with said threaded hole;
a cover having a threaded hole, which is formed on the inner wall of said cover and can be screwed into said thread of said bottle, wherein a plurality of insert elements is formed along the inner wall above said threaded hole; and
a plug rod having a thread, which is formed on the outer wall of said plug rod and can be screwed into said threaded hole of said plug pipe, and having a central hole, which penetrates through the top and bottom of said plug rod, and having a prop ring, which extends outward from the upper side of said plug rod and has a plurality of slots, wherein said slots can engage with said insert elements of said cover.

2. The leakage-proof bottle cap according to claim 1, wherein one side of an insert pipe is inserted into said central hole of said plug rod, and the other side of said insert pipe has a brush.

3. The leakage-proof bottle cap according to claim 1, wherein said prop ring on the upper side of said plug rod has a plurality of insert elements; the upper side of said threaded hole of said cover has a plurality of slots; said slots can engage with said insert elements of said plug rod.

4. The leakage-proof bottle cap according to claim 1, wherein said mouth has a diameter smaller than that of said bottle.
