A golf bag top includes a frame body having a frame base and divider ribs connected to one another within the frame base, a top cover covering the frame body and having slots that receive the divider ribs respectively, ornamental members each having a bottom coupling portion respectively fastened to the divider ribs in the slots of the top cover and an outer ornamental portion exposed to the outside of the top cover to add value to the golf bag top.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a golf bag and more particularly, to a golf bag top, which has ornamental members exposed to the outside of the top cover thereof to cause a unique sense of beauty and to add value to the golf bag.

2. Description of the Related Art

A golf bag generally has a top formed of a divider structure for supporting golf clubs in the bag body in a classified manner so that the user can easily pick up the desired number of golf club from the bag body.

A regular golf bag, top generally comprises a frame body and a top cover covering the frame body. The top cover is made of a flexible material. By means of the combination of the frame body and the flexible top cover, the golf bag top protects the storage golf clubs against damage, keeping the storage golf clubs classified.

However, when a conventional golf bag top is fastened to the top of a golf bag to provide functional effects, it shows a monotonous and low-value image.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The present invention has been accomplished under the circumstances in view. It is the main object of the present invention to provide a golf bag, which causes a sense of beauty and offers a high quality image.

To achieve this and other objects of the present invention, the top bag top comprises a frame body, which comprises a frame base and at least one divider rib extending from the frame base, a top cover, which is covered on the frame body and comprises at least one slot that receives the at least one divider rib respectively, and at least one ornamental member respectively fastened to the at least one divider rib and exposed to the outside of the top cover. The at least one ornamental member causes a sense of beauty, adding value to the golf bag top.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1˜3, a golf bag top in accordance with the present invention is shown comprised of a frame body 1, at least one ornamental member 2, and a top cover 3.

Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 3 again, the frame body 1 comprises a frame base 11, and a plurality of divider ribs 12 extending from the frame base 11 and connected to one another within the frame base 11. The divider ribs 12 each have a top flange 121 and a coupling portion 122 upwardly protruded from the top flange 121. The top cover 3 is covered on the frame base 11 and divider ribs 12 of the frame body 1, having a plurality of slots 31 that receive the divider ribs 12 respectively. The ornamental members 2 are respectively fastened to the divider ribs 12 and exposed to the outside of the top cover 3.

Referring to FIGS. 5 and 6 and FIG. 3 again, the ornamental members 2 each have a bottom coupling groove 21 and an outer ornamental portion 22. The bottom coupling grooves 21 of the ornamental members 2 are respectively coupled to the coupling portions 122 of the divider ribs 12 of the frame body 1. After the ornamental members 2 have been respectively fastened to the divider ribs 12 of the frame body 1, the outer ornamental portions 22 of the ornamental members 2 are respectively exposed to the outside of the slots 31 of the top cover 3.

Further, the ornamental members 2 can be made out of metal, ceramics, glass, or plastics. Further, the ornamental members 2 may be electroplated with a layer of metal coating, or coated with a layer of baked-enamel coating, or surface treated with sand blasting or polishing process.

Referring to FIGS. 1 and 3 again, when using the golf bag top, the coupling portions 122 of the divider ribs 12 of the frame body 1 are respectively fastened to the bottom coupling grooves 21 of the ornamental members 2 to have the ornamental members 2 be secured to the divider ribs 12 of the frame body 1, and then the top cover 3 is capped on the frame body 1 to have the divider ribs 12 be respectively received in the slots 31 and the ornamental portions 22 of the ornamental members 2 be exposed to the outside of the top cover 3.

Although a particular embodiment of the invention has been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.

Claims

1. A golf bag top, comprising:

a frame body, said frame body comprising a frame base and at least one divider rib extending from said frame base;
a top cover covered on said frame body, said top covering comprising at least one slot, which receives said at least one divider rib respectively;
at least one ornamental member respectively fastened to said at least one divider rib and exposed to the outside of said top cover.

2. The golf bag top as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one divider rib each comprises a top flange and a coupling portion extending from said top flange for fastening to said at least one ornamental member.

The golf bag top as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one divider rib each comprises a top flange and a coupling portion extending from said top flange; said at least one ornamental member each comprises a bottom coupling groove respectively fastened to the coupling portion of said at least one divider rib.

The golf bag top as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one divider rib each comprises a top flange and a coupling portion extending from said top flange; said at least one ornamental member each comprises a bottom coupling groove respectively fastened to the coupling portion of said at least one divider rib and an outer ornamental portion exposed to the outside of said top cover.
