Recreational coin device and method of use
A recreational coin and methods of using the coin are provided. The coin includes a heads side depicting a head-related sexual act and a tails side depicting a posterior-related sexual act. Preferred embodiments also include sexually suggestive phrases on the two sides similar to phrases found on US currency coins, and/or the words “heads” and “tails.” The recreational coin can be used for entertainment or novelty purposes, and can reduce social and/or sexual anxiety. In games involving the recreational coin, a first player flips the coin and a second player attempts either to correctly predict, or else to correctly match, the first player's coin flip. The winner of the game can demand sexual favors from the loser. The recreational coin and the games disclosed increase social comfort and can facilitate sexual negotiation in a group setting, by using humor and prescribed game rules.
This invention relates to novelty games and devices, and more particularly to recreational coins and their methods of use.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONSocial situations between strangers initially can be awkward and uncomfortable. Games and novelty items can act as icebreakers in such settings, helping to ease social anxiety between individuals, while enabling them to get to know each other in a more natural and entertaining social context. Many such games and novelty items currently exist for the express purpose of engendering social relaxation, such as providing amusement and/or recreation among individuals in a group setting.
However, even between people who may already be platonic friends, a certain degree of sexual tension may be ever present. Among those individuals who would otherwise pursue sexual experimentation and enjoyment within a social setting, certain inhibitions may prevent them from fully realizing their unexpressed desires. Therefore, there remains a need for a novelty item and/or game that can facilitate sexual negotiation, thereby paving the way towards recreational sexual interplay within a social environment.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention offers advantages over existing prior art by providing a means for easing social and/or sexual tension in a group setting. Through humor and prescribed game rules, the invention can increase social comfort, even facilitating sexual negotiation. The invention comprises a recreational “sex” coin that depicts romantic and/or erotic sexual acts on either side, namely, kissing, oral sex, or some other head-related sexual activity on the “heads” side, and skirt lifting, rear-entry sexual intercourse, or some other posterior-related sexual activity on the “tails” side. The invention also comprises a set of games that may be played with the recreational coin, including a “flip and match” game, and a “flip and call” game. In each of these games, the winner is awarded the right to demand sexual favors from the loser. Use and display of the sex coin can therefore reduce social and/or sexual anxiety, potentially catalyzing interpersonal sexual activity among willing sexual participants.
The invention will be more fully understood from the following detailed description, in conjunction with the accompanying figures, wherein:
In the following detailed description of exemplary embodiments of the invention, reference is made to the accompanying drawings, which illustrate specific preferred embodiments in which the invention may be practiced. These embodiments are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the invention. It is to be understood that other embodiments may be utilized, and that logical changes may readily be made without departing from the scope of the invention. Therefore, the following detailed description is not to be taken in a limiting sense, and the scope of the invention is to be limited only by the appended claims.
Referring to
In preferred embodiments, the heads side of the recreational sex coin 100 can also resemble the heads side of a US currency coin in various ways. Certain markings of a US coin may be present in altered form, to add to the detail and overall effect of the heads side of the sex coin 100. For example, just as the heads side of a US coin contains the word “Liberty,” so the heads side of recreational sex coin 100 may contain the word, “Libertine” 110. Further, as the heads side of US coins contains the phrase “In God We Trust,” the heads side of the sex coin 100 may contain the phrase “In Love We Trust” 115. Such terms as these can add to the amusement and entertainment value of the coin, through sexual innuendo. Moreover, the heads side of the coin 100 may also contain the word “Heads” 120, to make it clear and unambiguous that it is indeed the heads side.
Referring to
As with the heads side of the recreational sex coin, preferred embodiments of the tails side of the coin 200 can also resemble the respective tails side of US currency coins in various ways. Certain markings of a US coin may be present in altered form, to add to the detail and effect of the tails side of the sex coin 200. For example, just as the tails side of a US coin contains the phrase “United States of America,” so the tails side of sex coin may contain the phrase, “United Sex of America” 210. Further, as the tails side of US coins contains the phrase “E Pluribus Unum,” the tails side of the sex coin 200 can contain the phrase “E Pluribus Hump'em” 215 or a similar phrase where the word “Hump” is replaced by another word referring to a sex act. Other phrases suggestive of a US currency coin can be included, such as “In Sex We Trust 220.” These terms can further add to the amusement and entertainment value of the coin. Moreover, the tails side of the sex coin may also contain the word “Tails” 225, to make it totally clear and unambiguous that it is indeed the tails side.
Although specific embodiments have been illustrated and described herein, it will be appreciated by those of ordinary skill in the art that any arrangement that is calculated to achieve the same purpose may be substituted for the specific embodiments shown.
