The present invention claims priority under 35 USC section 119 based upon the provisional application filed on Jan. 9, 2008 with a serial number of 61/010, 514.
FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates to a bathroom organizer which is a combination of a toilet tissue paper holder for easy loading and reloading a paper roll and with extra storage spaces for tissue paper roll, newspaper, magazines, books, and other small items such as glasses, watch, mobile phone, and key rings to form a compact organizer in order to have a better arrangement in bathrooms and public rest rooms.
BACKGROUNDIt is desirable that changing tissue paper roll is easy for everyone, from adults to kids and to disabled persons. A disadvantage of changing or loading a tissue paper roll on the existing tissue paper holder is that one has to urge one end of the spring bar into a hole on a holding arm and depress the spring to allow the other end of the spring bar to fit into the other hole on the other arm. This task requires some degree of skill in order to successfully change the roll of toilet tissue. Not everyone is capable of doing so, especially for kids and disabled persons.
Additionally, some users prefer to read in the bathroom. However, the existing tissue paper holder do not provide for any apparatus to hold reading material. Typically users will scatter the reading material resulting in disorder. Furthermore, most bathrooms do not provide temporary space for some small items, such as a mobile phone, key rings, glasses, as well as some electronic goods to store temporarily. Therefore there remains a need for a specially designed bathroom organizer to fulfill those needs.
A bathroom organizer for organizing various bathroom items including toilet tissue may include a vertical back wall, and a roll support frame connected to the vertical back wall.
The roll support frame may include a guide device which extends inwards from the roll support frame and includes a concave portion to dispense toilet tissues.
The guide device may include a first convex portion to allow a user to place a roll of toilet tissue into the roll support frame, and the guide device may include a second convex portion to position the roll of toilet tissue in a position to dispense the toilet tissue.
The vertical back wall may cooperate with an inward sloping front wall to define a truncated V shaped magazine rack, and the bathroom organizer may include a first bottom wall to cooperate with the vertical back wall and the front wall to form a bottom for the magazine rack.
The first bottom wall may extend beyond the front wall to form a tray, and the first bottom wall may include a upward extending wall around a portion of the periphery of the first bottom wall.
The bathroom organizer may include a second bottom wall which extends from the vertical back wall to define a shelf for toilet tissue.
The invention may be understood by reference to the following description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, in which, like reference numerals identify like elements, and in which:
The present invention can solve the above noted problems and provide for easy loading or reloading toilet tissue paper roll as well as provides additional space for paper roll, newspaper, magazines and other small items such as glasses, watch, mobile phone, and key rings, etc to keep the toiletries neat and tidy.
Generally, this organizer provides an easy way to load or reload tissue paper rolls. As described herein, the rails automatically guide the holding bar into the desired position. In this way, anyone including those individuals with disabilities can load or reload paper rolls without any difficulty.
Additionally, extra storage space is provided to store a spare tissue paper roll for additional convenience. A truncated V-shaped compartment is provided for displaying and storing newspaper, magazines, and books. The first bottom wall 113 may include a perpendicular corner and may include a curved corner and may include an upward extending wall 115 which extends around a portion of the periphery of the first bottom wall 113 in order to retain the personal items on the first bottom wall 113.
The bathroom organizer 100 may include a roll support frame 119 in order to support a roll of toilet tissue and the roll support frame 119 may include opposing side walls 131 to support the roll of toilet tissue. The side walls 131 may be spaced to hold a roll of toilet tissue. Furthermore, the bathroom organizer 100 may include a second bottom wall 133 which may extend from the vertical back wall 103 and may extend from one of the opposing side walls 131. The second bottom wall 113 may provide a shelf for additional personal items.
The roll support frame 119 may include an arcuate inward extending guide device 135 or guide rail which may be positioned on the interior surface of the opposing side walls 131 in order to guide the holder for the roll of toilet tissue. The arcuate inward extending guide device 135 may include a first convex portion 137, a concave portion 139 and a second convex portion 151 so that the holder for the roll of toilet tissue may rest in the concave portion 139. The first convex portion 137 and the second convex portion 151 may urge the holder for the roll of toilet tissue to the concave portion 139. The holder of the toilet tissue may be a rigid cylinder without the need to telescope and consequently, the holder of the toilet tissue may be simple to operate.
The bathroom organizer 100 may include a roll support frame 119 in order to support a roll of toilet tissue and the roll support frame 119 may include opposing side walls 131 to support the roll of toilet tissue.
