BACKGROUND1. Field of Invention
This invention relates to home or business lawn presentation and care or maintenance of lawns around fences, driveways, walk-ways, or foundations.
2. Prior Art
Home and businesses to present date have many different options in taking care or maintaining their lawns. There are push mowers or riding mowers that cut the grass, and then weed eaters to trim around fences, trees, and driveways or foundations. This invention makes the trimming around fences, driveways, foundations and walkways, as well as flower beds completely unnecessary as with the installation of this invention basically all you do is mow your lawn. Wheels on one side of mower will be placed on flat portion of fence pods, post pods, or driveway pods and as you mow the lawn all trimming necessary will be accomplished by the mowing of lawn. These pods not only prevent growth of grass under fence lines and around driveways and post but can also greatly enhance stabilization of all types of wire fences. These fence pods are also adjustable to accommodate any type of fence from wire fences to steel or wood.
SUMMARYIn accordance with the embodiment of this system which consist of fence pods, post pods, driveway and foundation pods user can make for a near totally weed eat free yard. The fence pods are adjustable to any type of fences and are also designed for property line restrictions as well as no restrictions. This system is relatively easy to install and will last for years of use as they are very durable. This embodiment not only saves user lots of hard work, but also greatly reduces the amount of time required to maintain lawns for home and business use. With this system installed on properties all you do is mow lawn with any type of mower and your done. These pods are to prevent the growth of grass or weeds from under fence lines and post, as well as around edges of concrete structures like driveways, foundations, and walkways.

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONApplicant suggest that all fence pods come in two different lengths that being 8′ and 10′ sections.
Operation or installation of this embodiment is relatively easy and requires only three different tools being 1. tape measure 15′ 2. skill saw with plastic cutting tooth blade. 3. rubber hammer for driving spikes and driving driveway pods into ground.
First decide which type of design is to be used which is for either no restricted property applications or restricted property lines. Then there are only a few steps to follow to install weed eat free yard system. 1. Place post pods first around post. 2 Measure distance between post pods and cut fence pods to fit. 3 place fence pods underneath overlap portion of post pods. Then place spikes into all post pods first followed by fence pods next. User may need drill with ¼″ bit to drill holes in fence pods after desired lengths have been cut.
For driveway or concrete structured pod applications simply place pods up against structure and drive in along side structure with rubber hammer hitting down on ½″ drive lip of driveway pod then insert spikes with rubber hammer to stabilize. When two pieces are put together place spacer inbetween pods and glue spacer to pods to cover gaps so no grass will grow inbetween two pieces being attached together. For brick or center tile also
AdvantagesFrom the descriptions provided above it should become evident to reader that several advantages to user of weed eat free system should be clear.
1. Absolutely no more weed eating around fence lines, fence post, or driveways, foundations walkways, or flower beds as pods will eliminate the growth of grass, weeds, or other from underneath areas being covered by pods
2. A much stabilizer bottom fence line for all types of fences but greatly enhances wire bottom fence lines.
3. Helps to prevent house hold pets from digging out of fence line or varmints or other wild life animals or snakes from digging into yard.
4. Helps prevent erosion of soil from under fence lines.
5. Greatly enhances beauty of lawns or fences.
6. Easy to install and maintain
7. Very durable and long lasting.
8. Made for virtually any types of fences from 0″ thick to 3″ thick.
9. Made for Home, Business, or Other types of uses where fences concrete structures are placed by users and need to be maintained.
Conclusions, Ramifications, and ScopeAccordingly the reader will see that the embodiment of this system will prevent growth of grass, weed, or other from growing underneath areas covered by fence, post, and driveway pods and with 5″ flat side user simply places mower wheels on one side of mower over flat side and after mowing is completed most all yard maintenance is completed as mower trims grass or other up to and over pods leaving no weed eating required to be done.
Accordingly reader will see that embodiment of fence and post pods are designed for any types of fences and various sized post which also are made for property restricted use as well as non restricted use of embodiment. Embodiment is also designed for different prices allowing more users to use system.
Embodiment of fence pods with slope up and wire holes also greatly enhance stability of all fences but especially wire or chain link fences and also keeps pets and rodents from digging underneath fence lines. All embodiments of embodiment are made of high uv resistant plastic and are at least ½″ thick except in overlap portions of pods which are ⅛″ thick.
While my above description contains many specificities, there should not be construed as limitations on the scope of the invention, but rather as exemplifications of one or several preferred embodiment thereof. Many other variations are possible as dimensions could vary greatly in lengths, widths, and heights as well as many different types of solid materials could be used in construction of pod system. Applicant has suggested a medium green in color to match or blend with a grass or plant color, however any color could also be used in choice. Embodiment could also be made with or with out slope up portion of fence pods or wire holes or spike holes. Embodiment of invention is to prevent grass, weed, or other growth from underneath pod area covered in order to prevent use of weed eater or other trimming device. Thus the scope of the invention should be determined not by the embodiments illustrated, but by the appended claims and their legal equivalents. Embodiments of invention could also be made in one piece, rather than two piece sections, and could come in different lengthed sections than ones applicant has suggested. Applicant feel that any other type of solid pod or other that covers areas around and underneath fence lines, fence post, or driveway or any type concrete structure would be an infringement on applicants embodiments.
