Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a sea rescue platform with a plurality of connectable floating bodies, wherein the life rings are equipped with floating nets, connecting rings, and strips so that different life rings can be connected as a platform which provides the function of a deck so as to increase the probability of rescue in sea disaster. Moreover, a medical chest is also provided in the life ring set so as to provide some medical necessity in sea disaster.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Current large boats provide life rescue devices for emergency. The device can be divided into personal used devices and group used devices. The personal rescue device includes arm type or chest type floating devices and various kinds of life rings and life jackets, etc. The group used rescue devices include life rafts, boats, etc. According to the prior experience about sea disasters, it is very difficult to assure that everyone has personal rescue device before falling to sea. Furthermore, the total amount of the rescue devices is not sufficient for all peoples. Moreover, the personal and group rescue devices are used independently so that the possibility of safe rescue is low.

Referring to FIG. 1, a temporary rescue floating platform formed by different life rings shall stand for the larger stress from sea wave and weight of the users. Luckily, currently the material technologies have improved greatly and thus the ropes, buckling rings and nets used in sea rescue are improved to have a strong structure and small sizes. Thus if these devices can be connected with a better design, the structure strength will be enhanced and thus more people can be rescue in sea disaster.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Recently, more and more people die in sea disaster due to the size of the boat being greater and greater. Statistically in Europe and America, the main three reasons for rescuing people in sea disaster without a higher rescuing probability in current rescuing system are: providing more floating objects to make people capture the objects and have a longer time for waiting rescuing; the people in the sea must leave from the lower temperature seawater for retaining the body temperature; the people in the sea can gather together for increasing the rescuing probability so increase the safety feeling.

In the present invention, the current used life ring is added with a floating net and the connection mechanism so as to form as a combination assembly. The present invention is suitable for compressing storage and projection system. In sea disaster, a mass of the life rings can be projected to the periphery of the boat so that those people can get the life rings with a great probability. Furthermore, all the rings are connected by the people so as to form as a life platform. Furthermore, different life rings provide different protection devices and medical functions so as to prolong the life time of the people in the sea. Thus above mentioned problem can be solved.

The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 shows the prior art rescue floating platform for sea disaster.

FIG. 2 shows the connection structure and floating net in the life ring set of the present invention.

FIG. 3 shows the components of the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

The present invention has three main parts. The first parts are personal life jackets, life rings, etc. or a group used large scale life ring, life boat, loaf raft, etc. These devices are interconnected as a temporary life security floating platform. For example, for life rings, the large life ring may have a size which is three times of the small life rings so that the large and small life rings are connected as a life security floating platform, as illustrated in FIG. 1. The second parts are the connection mechanism as illustrated in FIG. 2. The assembled parts of the second parts may refer to FIG. 3. The parts of a life ring set from the outer side to the inner side sequentially includes a plurality of rectangular closed buckling rings 11 with round corners, a plurality of connection strips 12, a plurality of clamping rings 13, a life ring 14, a plurality of rectangular sealed rings 15 with round corners; a plurality of round buckling rings 16, a stress rope 17, a floating net 18, and a medical chest 19 with some life drugs and devices, etc. A large life ring set is identical to a small one, while the medical chest has some long term life protection devices and drugs.

Because the thickness and heights of the large and small life rings are different, and the stresses applied to a large floating platform and a small floating platform are different, for assuring the completeness of the life rings, the connecting stripes have a length of 3.14 h+2.4 d, where h is a thickness of the life ring and the d is the difference of the inner radius and outer radius of the life ring.

The mechanical structure of the present invention will be described herein. At an outer side, one end of the closed buckling ring 11 of one life ring set is used to connect with the closed buckling ring 11 of another life ring and another end of the closed buckling ring 11 is connected to the connection strip 12, as illustrated in FIG. 2. The clamping ring 13 encloses the connecting strip 12 for limiting the life ring 14. An inner side of the life ring 14 is installed with a hollow sleeve for receiving the stress rope 17 and for suspending and expanding the floating net 18. Preferably, each life ring 14 has four sets of connecting structures which are identical to one another so that a life ring 14 is connected to four life ring sets. Thus the pulling forces and stress forces from the interaction of sea waves and the floating platform will be decomposed by the stress ropes through the closed bucking rings and the connection stripes. Namely, most of the stresses from the four directions of the life ring set will be transferred out so that at any transient time, the stresses are suffered by the stress ropes of the floating platform so that the life rings will not be destroyed by environmental factors.

The third part of the present invention is the added function for the small life ring. With referring to FIG. 2, the stress rope of the small life ring is added with a floating net box and at least one medical chest. Two sides of the floating net box have respective sealed ring 15 which are connected to the two round buckling rings 16 of the life ring set. In emergency, a front end of the floating net 18 is also arranged with another two sealed rings 15 which can be connected to another two round buckling ring 16 of the life ring easily so as to be formed as a deck for resting. One end of the medical chest 19 is firmly secured to the stress rope 17. The medical chest is waterproof. The contents of the chest are designed based on the person desired to be rescued.

In the present invention, the small life rings is use with large life ring. An inner side of the small life ring is equipped with an emergency devices and the large life ring is equipped with long term life secure device. The connection of small life rings and large life rings will be formed as a rescue platform. In sea disaster, not only make the people feel safe, but also the possibility of saving lives is increased.

A large amount of life rings of various sizes are compressed and are stored in various types of projectors which can be designed to match the scenery arrangement of the mother boat. Generally, a proper number of storage projectors are arrangement around the periphery of the mother boat. Once a sea disaster occurs, the projectors are actuated manually or automatically. In a very short time, the sea around the boat has a large number of lift rings. It will inspirit the people to run away from the boat. Furthermore, the people have a large possibility to catch the network formed by the life ring so as to reduce the possibility of dying in the sea. Then by gathering of different life rings, all the rings are assembled as a large body. Moreover, the attached objects, net strips, medical chests, and small life packages are detached and then are assembled. After the strips are assembled together, people can take the temperature preservation cloths in the medical chest so as to protect the body temperature. Furthermore, various kinds of life protection devices are arranged with the life rings. The time for waiting the rescue is prolonged greatly. For huge waves, people in the sea can use the ropes or stripes to connect to the buckles of the platforms.

The present invention is thus described, it will be obvious that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.
