Abstract

SINCH SOCKS are different then any other sock. Magnets, Snaps, or Velcro are sown around the brim of the sock to keep them together during the laundry process. To distinguish SINCH SOCKS from any other sock the actual connection site is sown and permanently fixed to the sock. It is not a clip. It is not removable. If there are conflicts with any other patents or any discrepancies about the uniqueness of Sinch Socks, then the distinction will be the fact that Sinch Socks can be available with connection sites around the entire top brim of the sock.

Description

Sinch Socks is an invention to keep socks together during the laundry process. There are three variations of Sinch Socks: The Magnetic Sinch Socks, The Snap Sinch Socks, and The Velcro Sinch Socks. When a person removes their sock, they attach it to its mate utilizing the magnet, snap, or velcro to avoid having a mismatched socks after completing the laundry process. With Magnetic Sinch Socks, powerful magnets are sown inside the lip of the fabric of a sock and its mate. For Snap Sinch Socks, a snap is sown on the top inner lip of the sock and its mate. For Velcro Sinch Socks, the velcro is sown around the entire brim of each sock.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

My invention is a sporting good item. Many people complain of losing socks. Socks are often a gift from grandparents because they know we will need them. Out of necessity, I began to image ways to keep my socks together. Magnets work in water so I imagined socks that had magnets sown in them that would hold the socks together during the laundry process and whenever they are not worn. Since powerful magnets maybe expensive, I visualized cheaper materials like metal snaps and velcro as viable alternatives for consumers. I thought of these ideas in February of 2002. This was the first time that I ever had my own apartment. I was the only one in the apartment. I had a washer and dryer in the apartment and still could not find my socks. In April of 2007, I went to Advent Product Development get help with my invention. They did a market ability report, legal protection report, cost analysis report, disclosure contract, and recommendation analysis.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF INVENTION

A magnet is trendy. Consumers will like the appeal of powerful magnets holding their favorite socks together so they will not lose them. Socks can also be a status symbol. Currently, there is an untapped market of sophisticated socks. Magnetic Sinch Socks can be a new status symbol. Right now, size color, and texture are the only distinctions for socks. Why not create more choices. Just like some people are obsessed with shoes: why not socks. Furthermore, most people participate in fitness activities. Regardless of how inconsistent, whenever we workout we want to look good. Everyone hates hunting for matching socks. Velcro Sinch Socks will help keep white gym socks together. Finally, every new parent takes pride in the appearance of their kids. Imagine little Snap Sinch Socks alleviating the stress of having to hunt for little matching socks for busy parents when there are millions of other things to occupy their time. Sinch Socks will be helpful and trendy.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

First, we manufacture socks. Before completing the top brim of the sock, insert magnets so when placed together they would remain together in the wash. This will prevent lose and mismatched sock usage. Another alternative would be snaps or velcro to keep the socks together.
