Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a burner head of a gas stove, and especially to a burner head which is convenient for a user to change for another burner head with a different height for ignition.

2. Description of the Prior Art

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, gas stoves sold in the markets have four kinds generally: straight pipe style burner heads 1, “U” pipe style burner heads 2, forged burner heads 3 and infrared burner heads 4 used for infrared gas stoves. Wherein in ignition of the straight pipe style burner heads 1, “U” pipe style burner heads 2 and forged burner heads 3, ignition can only be effected by having an ignitor 5 at a lower position, thereby one of these burner heads with a lower ignition position normally is called as a low level burner head; while the infrared burner heads 4 must have an ignitor 5 at a higher position for ignition, and such a burner head is called as a high level burner head.

The above stated low level burner head and high level burner head are little different in roasting foods, people generally choose between them and change for different burner heads according to their fondness of using and their cooking habits. Particularly for roasting stoves, because of difference of foods for roasting, the burner heads people need are different, and thereby rate of changing burner heads is higher.

Some manufacturers of roasting stoves provide two or multiple burner heads in one roasting stove for the convenience of use of consumers, but as stated above, heights for ignition of infrared burner heads are different from other styles of burner heads, and requirements in use of consumers and habits are different, hence some manufacturers of roasting stoves designed ignitor fixing racks of different heights to fix ignitors of different heights, and for burner heads with different heights of ignition.

This mode of using ignitor fixing racks to change heights of ignitors nearly can solve the above problem of difference of heights of ignition theoretically; however, changing heights of ignitors has certain degree of danger, and is very inconvenient for common users. Therefore, there are igniting devices added with kindling pipes on infrared burner heads in the markets now, they can help ignition of high level burner heads using the low level ignitors, they do not need to change the positions of ignitors, so that users can change for new burner heads by themselves.

However, the burner head structures designed in the prior art can only applicable for low level ignitors to kindle high level burner heads, but they are unable applied for high level ignitors to kindle low level burner heads. I.e., if a user changes the position of a low level burner head to that of a high level burner head, the ignitor on a roasting stove is unable to kindle the burner head.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The technical problem that the present invention is to solve under the present state of technique is to provide a gas burner head that can make the burner head at a low level be kindled by a high level ignitor.

The technical measure that the present invention uses to solve the stated technical problem is to provide a kindling pipe which is fixed on a burner head, the lower end of the kindling pipe is a gas intake port, while the higher end of the kindling pipe is a gas out take port, the gas intake port is aimed at fire holes on the front end of the burner head, and the gas out take port is aligned with the ignitor.

When a combustion gas valve is opened to allow combustion gas to be released from the burner head, the combustion gas can flow from the kindling pipe to the gas out take port at the higher end, at this time, the ignitor can kindle the combustion gas released from the gas out take port of the kindling pipe, a return flame goes reversely to the burner head through the gas intake port of the kindling pipe, hence the high level ignitor can kindle the burner head at the low level through the kindling pipe; when in use, a consumer can thus change the position of the burner head at the low level to a position that can accept the function of ignition of the high level ignitor by himself according to his habit or requirement. Particularly, such a process of operation needs no tool, and thus has the advantage of simplicity and convenience of operation.

When in practicing, the shape of the kindling pipe can be linear or curved; it needs only that the gas intake port of the kindling pipe faces to the burner head, and the gas out take port is aligned with the ignitor.

Certainly, the shape of the kindling pipe had better be coincident with the style of the burner head in designing, when the burner head is linear in shape, the kindling pipe chosen can be linear in shape too, the end having the gas intake port of the kindling pipe is fixed on the burner head, and the end having the gas out take port of the kindling pipe is fixed on a fixing rack; the modes of fixing of the end having the gas out take port and the fixing rack can be chosen from soldering, screw fixing, drilling hole, tapping etc. such as according to the type of the burner head and the practical requirement. The fixing rack can be fixed on the burner head, it has the function of, in addition to fixing the kindling pipe, raising the kindling pipe, so that the height of the gas out take port can be matched with that of the high level ignitor.

In order to fast and smoothly return the flame, when the burner head is of a “U” pipe style, the shape of the kindling pipe is preferably curved, the shape includes “U”, “V” etc., the curved kindling pipe has two ends fixed on the two lateral sides of the burner head, its upper surface is provided with an air exhausting hole, the air exhausting hole is exactly the gas out take port of the kindling pipe, and the air exhausting hole is aligned with the ignitor; besides, the number of the air exhausting hole can be plural that are lined linearly on the surface of the “U” or “V” shaped kindling pipe.

In comparison with the prior art, the present invention is to provide a kindling pipe on a low level burner head with an gas out take port which is aligned with a kindling pipe of an ignitor; by flame returning from the kindling pipe, the high level ignitor can kindle the burner head at the low level, and a consumer can change the position of the burner head at the low level to a position that can accept the function of ignition of the high level ignitor by himself according to his habit or requirement, this changes the situation that a high level burner head can only be changed to a position corresponds to that of a low level ignitor, and solves the problem of inability of kindling when the low level burner head is changed to a position for accepting the function of ignition of the high level ignitor. In the process of changing position, no tool is required, thus operation for it is simple and convenient without help of a professional person.

The present invention will be apparent after reading the detailed description of the preferred embodiment thereof in reference to the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT The First Embodiment

As shown in FIG. 3, a gas burner head of the present invention includes a main body of the burner head 10, a kindling pipe 20, a fixing rack 30 and an ignitor 40; in the drawing depicted, the burner head 10 and the kindling pipe 20 are linear styles.

Wherein the ignitor 40 is a high level ignitor; the fixing rack 30 is a sheet like thin plate, its lower end is fixed on the burner head 10, its height end is matched with that of the ignitor 40; an gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20 is aimed at fire holes 11 of the burner head 10 and is fixed, the embodiment uses the mode of soldering for fixing; an gas out take port 22 of the kindling pipe 20 is fixed by soldering on the top end of the fixing rack 30 on the upper surface of the burner head 10.

Generally, the linear style burner head 10 is mounted at a position in corresponding to that of a low level ignitor, the ignitor can ignite it normally after kindling; when it is desired to change the position of the burner head 10 to accept the function of ignition of the high level ignitor 40, for instance, changing position with an infrared burner head, at this time, the burner head 10 is matched with the high level ignitor 40.

As shown in FIG. 3, when a combustion gas valve (not shown) is opened to allow combustion gas to enter the burner head 10 and to be released from the fire holes 11, and to enter the kindling pipe 20 via the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20 and then to be released from the gas out take port 22, a flame 50 created by it makes a returning flame through the kindling pipe 20, and the flame 50 runs downwards to rapidly kindle the whole burner head 10 through the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20, hence the problem of difference of height in ignition can be solved, particularly the high level ignitor 40 can kindle the low level burner head.

The Second Embodiment

As shown in FIG. 4, the main body of the burner head 10 is in the shape of “U”, the kindling pipe 20 is in the shape of reversed “U” or “V”, and the ignitor 40 is a high level ignitor.

Wherein, the reversed “U” or “V” shaped kindling pipe 20 is provided on its two lateral sides each with an gas intake port 21 in alignment with the fire holes 11 of the “U” shaped burner head 10, and the two gas intake ports 21 are fixed respectively on the burner head 10 by soldering; the kindling pipe 20 is provided on its body with a plurality of gas out take ports 22 lined in a straight line, and the height of the gas out take port 22 is matched with that of the high level ignitor 40.

Generally, the “U” shaped burner head 10 is mounted at a position in corresponding to that of a low level ignitor, so that the ignitor 40 can ignite normally after kindling; when it is desired to change the position of the burner head 10 in corresponding to that of the high level ignitor 40, the combustion gas valve (not shown) is opened to allow combustion gas to enter the burner head 10 and to be released from the fire holes 11, and to enter the kindling pipe 20 via the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20 and then to be released from the gas out take port 22; at this time, the high level ignitor 40 ignites in the same time to render the combustion gas released from the gas out take port 22 to be ignited by the ignitor 40, and a flame 50 created by it makes a returning flame through the kindling pipe 20 and runs downwards to rapidly kindle the whole “U” shaped burner head 10 through the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20, hence operation for the embodiment is simple and convenient.

The Third Embodiment

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the burner head 10 is a linear forged burner head, the kindling pipe 20 is in a linear shape too, the high level ignitor 40 is a high level ignitor. Wherein forged burner head 10 is provided on its two lateral sides with fire holes 11, the linear kindling pipe 20 is fixed on the left side the front end of the burner head 10, and the height of the linear kindling pipe 20 is nearly equal to that of the ignitor 40, the gas intake port 21 is aimed at fire holes 11 on one side of the burner head 10, and the gas out take port 22 is aligned with the ignitor 40.

Generally, the linear style burner head 10 is mounted at a position in corresponding to that of a low level ignitor, so that the low level ignitor can ignite normally after kindling; when it is desired to change the position of the burner head 10 in corresponding to that of the high level ignitor 40, now a combustion gas valve (not shown) is opened to allow combustion gas to enter the burner head 10 and to be released from the fire holes 11, and to enter the kindling pipe 20 via the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20 and then to be released from the gas out take port 22; at this time, the ignitor 40 ignites in the same time to render the combustion gas released from the gas out take port 22 to be ignited by the ignitor 40, and a flame 50 created by ignition makes a returning flame through the kindling pipe 20 and runs downwards to rapidly kindle the whole linear forged burner head 10 through the gas intake port 21 of the kindling pipe 20, hence the embodiment is simple and convenient for use.

In the drawing, the linear forged burner head 10 has on its rear end an elongate slim kindling seam 12, so that when the kindling pipe 20 ignites one side of the burner head 10, the flame can be rapidly led to the other side having no kindling pipe 20.
