DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

Referring to FIGS. 1 to FIG. 11 of the drawings, the foldable chair with a tabletop according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a tabletop (10), two connecting joints (20) and two armrests (30), wherein the rectangular table (10) has a receiving capacity (11) adapted for putting accessories and many sliding grooves (12) positioned on the bottom of the tabletop (10).

The connecting joints (20) which is in rectangular shape comprises a upper clip unit (21) and lower clip unit (22), wherein the upper clip unit (21) has T-shaped locking members (23) respectively mounted to the top and two near sides of the upper clip (21). The top of the T-shape locking member (23) is slidably engaged with a sliding groove (12) so that the entire T-shape locking member (23) can move along the sliding groove (12).

At the bottom of the upper clip unit (21) has a semi-circular fillister (211), which includes two fixing protrusions (24) opposedly provided on two inner walls of the semi-circular fillister (211). First engaging protrusion member (212) and engaging tube (213) are positioned on two opposite side walls of the upper clip unit (21) respectively. Second engaging protrusion member (222) and engaging tube (223) are positioned on two opposite side walls of the lower clip unit (221) corresponding to first engaging protrusion member (212) and first engaging tube (213) of the upper clip unit (21). The upper semi-circular fillister (211) and lower semi-circular fillister (221) form a circle accommodated to and clip the shaft of the armrest (30), wherein the fixing protrusions (24) are slidably engaged with the elongated slots (31).

Each of two armrests (30) which is in cylinder shape has four fixing slots (31) positioned around respectively adapted to be engaged with the fixing protrusions (24) positioned opposedly on two inner walls of the upper semi-circular fillisters (211) and lower semi-circular fillisters (221) respectively of the connecting joints (20).

The first engaging tube (213) of the upper clip unit (21) corresponding to the second engaging tube (223) of the lower clip unit (221) are engaged with each other by a blot extending through the hole of the engaging tubes (213, 223) so as to form a slider joint within the juncture of the upper and lower clip units (21, 221). The semi-circular fillisters (211) of the upper clips (21) are respectively engaged with the armrest (30) wherein the two fixing protrusions (24) relatively positioned on two inner walls of the semi circular fillister (211) are engaged with the elongated slots (31) of the armrests (30) respectively so as to couple with the lower clip joints (221), wherein the two fixing protrusions (24) positioned on the second semi-circular fillisters (221) of the lower clip units (221) are engaged with the elongated slots (31), the second engaging protrusion members (212) and the first engaging protrusion members (212) of the upper clip units (21) corresponding thereto are mounted to each other by a screw (40) extending through so as to accomplish whole frame structure.

Referring to FIG. 3 and FIG. 8, the connecting joints (20) are in upright vertical position when the two armrests (30) are coupled with the table respectively, wherein the sliding grooves (12) defined underneath the table (10) allow the movement forward and backward, leftward and rightward.

As shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 9, the schematic drawings illustrating the second combination of the connecting joint (20), wherein the connecting joints (20) are lying in vertical position when the two armrests (30) are engaged with the table respectively, wherein the T-shapes locking members (23) are lying close to the two opposing edge of the sliding grooves (12) because of being lengthened so as to merely allow the movement of forward and backward.

Referring to FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, the schematic drawings illustrating the third combination of the connecting joints (20), wherein a pair of connecting joints (20) are slidably mounted to the same armrest (30) of which defined in one side of the seat frame adapted for allowing the connecting joints (20) being slidbaly engaged thereto in vertical or horizontal position forming the table combination with different height.

As shown in FIG. 7, the schematic drawings illustrating the fourth combination of the connecting joint (20), wherein a pair of the connecting joints (20) can also be positioned on the supporting arms of one side of the seat frame outwardly.
