A device for washing a part of a human body in a toilet bowl area has diverting unit for diverting water from an existing pipe to a toilet bowl area, an inlet pipe leading from a faucet for preparation of water temperature and closing and opening inner pipe, so that when the faucet is closed there is no water flowing to the diverter, while water flows to the diverter only when the faucet is open, unit for activating a diverting unit so as to supply water from the supply pipe, a water supply pipe connected with the diverting unit and receiving water, the water supply pipe being movable in a longitudinal direction to be extended for directing water to a part of the human body, the water supply pipe having a front end which is spaced from the diverting unit and provided with a jet forming head, an outlet tubular element immovably mountable on the toilet bowl and having an opening through which the water supply pipe extends, an inlet tubular element rearwardly spaced from the outlet tubular element and having an opening through which the water supply pipe extends, spring unit provided between the outlet tubular element and the inlet tubular element, the water supply pipe being movable forwardly and rearwardly together with the inlet tubular element and wherein the water supply pipe is moved forwardly the spring unit is compressed while when the water supply pipe is released the spring unit move the water supply pipe rearwardly.

CROSS-REFERENCE TO A RELATED APPLICATION

This application is a continuation-in-part of patent application Ser. No. 11/715,120 filed on Mar. 8, 2007.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to washing devices for washing parts of a human body.

It is known to provide various washing devices for washing parts of a human body in a bathroom area. It is believed that the existing devices can be further improved.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a device for washing a part of a human body in a toilet bowl area, which is a further improvement of the existing devices.

In keeping with these objects and with others which will become apparent hereinafter, one feature of the present invention resides, briefly stated, a device for washing a part of a human body in a toilet bowl area, comprising diverting means for diverting water from an existing pipe to a toilet bowl area; an inlet pipe leading from a faucet for preparation of water temperature and closing and opening inner pipe, so that when the faucet is closed there is no water flowing to the diverter, while water flows to the diverter only when the faucet is open; means for activating a diverting means so as to supply water from the supply pipe; a water supply pipe connected with said diverting means and receiving water, said water supply pipe being movable in a longitudinal direction to be extended for directing water to a part of the human body, said water supply pipe having a front end which is spaced from said diverting means and provided with a jet forming head; an outlet tubular element immovably mountable on the toilet bowl and having an opening through which said water supply pipe extends; an inlet tubular element rearwardly spaced from said outlet tubular element and having an opening through which said water supply pipe extends; spring means provided between said outlet tubular element and said inlet tubular element, said water supply pipe being movable forwardly and rearwardly together with said inlet tubular element and wherein said water supply pipe is moved forwardly said spring means is compressed while when said water supply pipe is released said spring means move said water supply pipe rearwardly.

The novel features which are considered as characteristic for the present invention are set forth in particular in the appended claims. The invention itself, however, both as to its construction and its method of operation, together with additional objects and advantages thereof, will be best understood from the following description of specific embodiments when read in connection with the accompanying drawings.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

A device for washing a part of a human body in a toilet bowl area is designed to be associated with a toilet bowl which is identified with reference numeral 1. The device includes a diverter 2 with which it is connectable to an existing pipe in a bathroom so as to divert water to be used in the device. The device includes a water supply pipe 3 which is connected with the existing pipe through the diverter 2. In particular the existing pipe is identified with reference numeral 11 and it supplies to water to a pipe 13 and directly connected with a diverter 2. A faucet 12 which is an existing faucet conventional in the art is located between the pipes 11 and 13. During the operation, as will be explained herein below, water can be prepared by the faucet 12. In other words, the faucet which is a conventional component can be regulated so as to provide a correspondingly temperature, for example to warm up water, which then warms up water. The faucet 12 is regularly closed and it is open by the user only when it is necessary for the device to operate. Otherwise, there is no water in the device. When the faucet 12 opens, the correspondingly prepared water flows to the pipe 13 to the diverter 2. A user activates a diverter 2 by a button 14 to allow the water to flow into the device.

A tubular guide element 4 is attached to the connecting pipe through an attaching element 5 which can be of any known construction. The tubular element 4 is immovably mountable on the toilet bowl 1 for example by mounting elements 6 which can be connected to the upper surface of the toilet bowl 1 for example by bolts, pins, and the like.

A water supply pipe 3 extends from the connecting element 5 to the area of the toilet bowl 1. The water supply pipe 3 is displaceable inside the tubular element 4 in a longitudinal direction. It can be provided with an outlet tubular insert 6 and an inlet tubular inset 7. A disc 8 is attached to the water supply pipe 3.

A spring 9 is located between the elements 4 and 8.

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the inlet tubular insert and the disc 8 can be formed as a single one-piece element 7′. The single, one-piece element has one tubular projection 14 and another tubular projection 15 located at opposite sides of a disc 16. The significantly signifies the manufacture and the assembly the device. The projections 14 and 15 are also provided with roughened outer surface, for example toothed-shape so that the pipes at both sides of the insert 7′ can be easily fitted on the tubular projections 14 and 15 and reliably held on it.

In operation the diverter 2 is turned to a position in which a water is supplied from the existing pipe the water supply pipe 3 and the latter is pulled out in a longitudinal direction through the guide 4 to direct water to a part of a user's body to be washed. When the washing is finished, the spring 9 pushed the water supply pipe 3 to its initial position.

The outlet tubular insert 6 can be provided with a jet forming head 10. As shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the jet forming head 10 can be hollow. As shown in FIG. 9, the tubular element 4 can be formed so that its front portion as a smooth outer surface and is pressed-fitted into the head 10 while its rear portion has roughening on its outer surface, for example teeth, so that a water supply pipe 3 can be fitted on the roughened surface. As shown in FIG. 2, the water supply pipe 3 has two portions 3′ and 3″ which are connected with one another by the elements 7, 8 or the element 7′.

It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together, may also find a useful application in other types of constructions differing from the types described above.

While the invention has been illustrated and described as embodied in a device for washing a part of a human body in toilet bowl area, it is not intended to be limited to the details shown, since various modifications and structural changes may be made without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.

Without further analysis, the foregoing will so fully reveal the gist of the present invention that others can, by applying current knowledge, readily adapt it for various applications without omitting features that, from the standpoint of prior art, fairly constitute essential characteristics of the generic or specific aspects of this invention.

Claims

1. A device for washing a part of a human body in a toilet bowl area, comprising diverting means for diverting water from an existing pipe to a toilet bowl area; an inlet pipe leading from a faucet for preparation of water temperature and closing and opening inner pipe, so that when the faucet is closed there is no water flowing to the diverter, while water flows to the diverter only when the faucet is open; means for activating a diverting means so as to supply water from the supply pipe; a water supply pipe connected with said diverting means and receiving water, said water supply pipe being movable in a longitudinal direction to be extended for directing water to a part of the human body, said water supply pipe having a front end which is spaced from said diverting means and provided with a jet forming head; an outlet tubular element immovably mountable on the toilet bowl and having an opening through which said water supply pipe extends; an inlet tubular element rearwardly spaced from said outlet tubular element and having an opening through which said water supply pipe extends; spring means provided between said outlet tubular element and said inlet tubular element, said water supply pipe being movable forwardly and rearwardly together with said inlet tubular element and wherein said water supply pipe is moved forwardly said spring means is compressed while when said water supply pipe is released said spring means move said water supply pipe rearwardly.

2. A device as defined in claim 1, and further comprising two tubular inserts located inside said water supply pipe including an outlet insert and an inlet insert, said outlet insert being inserted into said water supply pipe and fixedly connected with said jet forming head, while said inlet insert is fixedly connected with said water supply pipe.

3. A device as defined in claim 2, wherein said inlet insert includes a tubular part through which water can pass and a disc part arranged on said tubular part.

4. A device as defined in claim 3, wherein said tubular part and said disc part are formed of one piece with one another.

5. A device as defined in claim 4, wherein said tubular part is provided with engaging teeth for engaging with the water supply pipe.

6. A device as defined in claim 4, wherein said outlet insert is provided with engaging teeth for engaging with said water supply pipe.
